PROS: -very nice decor…read more-clean & tidy stations (they tuck away their supplies so each station is a clean surface) -lots of techs (probably 15 or so) -lots of pedicure chairs & nail stations (great place to come with a group, like a wedding party) -about a million different no-chip colors to choose from -they have a pedicure menu so you have options on your pedi service -next to a laundromat (so you can get your nails done while your clothes wash) -next to a bar (so your man has somewhere to go while he waits) -thinking of men...this is a very man friendly place. I see a guy come in for a mani OR pedi everytime I'm there CON: -i think they are probably one of the pricer nail salons in this area. and they charge extra for long nails (nails don't even have to be that long before the charge kicks in so be sure to ask) -parking can be a pain depending on the time of day -they will trash talk your nails if you were getting them done somewhere else (they aren't trying to insult you, they are insulting the other salon, but it still hurts my feelings cuz their MY nails) I've seen Davy and Michelle. During my dip manicure, the nail tech repeatedly dug her short nail into the sides of my fingers. I asked her to stop, but it continued, and I found myself flinching away at least 20 times over the two hours it took to complete the service. It was uncomfortable and honestly stressful. There was also an awkward seating issue -- the nail tech's legs were positioned under my chair, making it unclear where I was supposed to place my own legs. I've never experienced that before, and combined with the discomfort during the service, it added to an already unpleasant experience. The nails were cut extremely short and filed very rounded, more like a child's nail shape than a modern dip manicure. The color selection also feels outdated and doesn't reflect current trends. Pedicures here are just okay, but overall I've found that consistency and technique vary significantly between nail techs. I truly wanted to support a local business that's close by, but after multiple attempts, I won't be returning.
