So, before breakfast commenced and the coffee from Chiapas was poured for those attending, we opened the box to discover the colorful mix she had chosen. The flaky brown and tan biscuits were the first plate we tried with our homemade strawberry jam and cream cheese. I tasted mine plain at first to get a sense of the composition. The resounding taste of butter in the near bread told me of the quality was on par with any I had enjoyed before. Biscuits are not difficult to make, but doing so consistently is important. Then we tasted the dark brown gingerbread pigs, known as "puerquitos", which were gloriously fresh with a dusting of confectionery sugar. I was impressed again and the subtle taste of piloncillo found its way into every taste. While it's mildly unfair to review a place based solely on its takeout, El Fenix made a very good impression on me, and I look forward to visiting in the near future.

Cold brew: forgot on specific blend they were using but this was one of the best cold brews I've had to date. I also found out they are very popular for their cold brew selling by the gallon. Service was amazing, although it was busy I got my drink in about a min. I was well taken care of and the workers were really knowledgeable about their grounds which is a bonus! Highly recommend this place if you want cold brew or if you need some where to do work. I will make sure to stop by next time I'm in the valley

I had seen in an earlier review that they asked the people to move 2 times which I thought was crazy.... But I did hear them asking people to move so other people can sit at their table. The atmosphere and vibes are really nice. Loved the book wall. The tables and seating is really cool but it was busy the whole time we were there from 1-3:00.... And people sit for hours. So make sure you're not in a hurry when you come check this place out. I believe they recently opened so I'll probably go back in a couple of months to give them another shot. Also, why does the business not post their drink menu on any of their socials.... what's the big secret.
