Super great taste for the concha's, very close to Lara's Bakery in Harlingen. Probably would vote them the next best concha's here at this location. Freshest concha I've ever eaten. And they have an amazing selection of conchas with some creative flavors and decorations. They even serve donuts, croissant and marranitos/puerquitos. The girl at the counter was nice and patient while inoggled over the pastries haha. Beyond pastries they serve a variety of quesadillas and Chilaquiles for something more hearty. We got the huevos Chilaquiles and it was so tasty. Food came out fast and looked fresh. The black beans were creamy and not too salty, the salsa thick and flavorful, the egg cooked perfectly , and the chips crunchy and soft depending on their smothered status. The coffee tastes good too and they offer fresh milk to add to it. The space is super cute and beautifully decorated. Lots of seating and nice music played overhead. The food was absolutely delicious and tasted very authentic!! We got pink tortillas because it was on Valentine's Day! Super cute!! The inside of the restaurant is very nicely decorated and the vibe in there is calm! I can't wait to go back again to try more things. First and foremost very trendy Frida theme coffee shop . It's truly cute for gatherings . Customer service efficiency and quality of service was great. They were very attentive and focus. I wanna say that it was good. So I do love a local new place. I really wanted to love this place. Unfortunately, that's not the case here. The conchas are just ok(I know, I know...). I wanted to absolutely love them, but they are just ok, we did try 4 of them. We tried the chilaquiles, the sauces/salsas were good. Half of the dish was cold. The "barbacoa" was not barbacoa, it was shredded meat of some sort. The cafe de olla was pretty good. Had a great cinnamon-y taste. Ambience was decent. Staff was polite. They were patient when we were ordering. I wouldn't necessarily recommend, but maybe try it and see if it's for you. read more

Conchas are good and they always have new flavors. Savory breakfasts plates are good as well, but I usually go for one concha and a hot drink. Love me a good concha! I had the banana one, the pistachio one and Oreo one. The Oreo one was fresh so that was disappointing but all the rest were delicious. The restaurant is dark and decor is uninviting. Although there are Mexican-themed accents throughout, there is no coherence. There's an area that was or will be a mini-store, but items are just "there", unorganized. The concha was excellent! I had a cajeta and pecans- though, I hope that eventually they will use cajeta de Celaya, instead of Linares. The chilaquiles were not great. Coffee was great, but I wanted a ceramic cup; coffee and food are served in disposable ware. I commend them for using biodegradable plates. They dress the part and inside the place looks like you enter another world, but the chilaquiles ARE NOT what I expected. The chicken was shredded alright but you could squeeze water of it. Stay away from this place. The guy who runs the counter is rude and doesn't know the meaning of customer service. Whether he's an owner or an employee, he needs training on how to speak to customers. He even had the nerve to tell me how wonderful the world would be now that Dumpster Drumpf is in charge. One has to be pretty stupid to discuss politics with a customer you've never met. I don't mind spending money, but at least make the food look decent and in an actual plate not a paper plate. Wow!! I had seen this location housed several business and I think that finally there a business worth the location. I had the hot chocolate beverage they call "Chocolate Abuelita" and the concha flavored "Chocolate Abuelita." The atmosphere is great with Mexican music playing in the background. The hot chocolate was tasty, creamy and rich and the concha reminded me of the tasty treat my mom used to buy from the neighborhood Mexican bakery. Very well worth it.
