I decided to go here for lunch based on my Yelp search. We came in a little before they opened and…read moresat outside. There were two other families waiting already. Once they were open, it took a long time between us being given menus to finally getting our food- 50 minutes. They should've given us our side while we were waiting for the board. We ordered a side of salami and Swedish cheese and the hairy pig board. I enjoyed the side, but the board not so much. The board consisted of wild boar sausage with broche bun, wild boar taco, peppercorn fries, and wild boar lasagna. The board was quite heavy and salty. I didn't have enough stomach space to even try the taco. I did enjoy the fries, but it's not enough for me to want to return.

This place is tucked below street level and is very intimate and downright cozy with its low beam wood ceiling, wood tables in every cranny it can fit to accommodate guests, and a tiny little bar. You can find this place outside by the wooden sign with the boar on it, then simply peer down into the low window and if you see a hairy pig nomming on a sausage, congratulations! You're in the right place. We stopped in not long before closing time and that was probably the only reason we were able to get a much coveted table. The barkeep was nice and let us put in a quick order while also getting us drinks. Unfortunately for me, there were not very many gluten free tapa options on the menu, but there were a few naturally gf. The salami and sausages were thought to have gluten so I went with the smoked shell on shrimp, a cheese dip, and some salad with olives. I wasn't crazy about the smoked shrimp but the olives and cheese were good. The husband enjoyed a sausage in bun which he said was great. Overall we liked the vibe and I think if you can eat the locally sourced meats like my husband it's probably a pretty solid place. If you're gf or allergy you'll probably still be hungry at the end of the meal like I was.

This is a difficult restaurant to review. I'll start with the pros:…read more1. Seated quickly 2. Cozy atmosphere 3. Food is good. The Cons 1. The wait... we sat and sat waiting for water and food and the longest wait was the bill 2. The waiter... we are Americans and speak only English. We know this is not ideal. However, our waiter walked abruptly to our table (after we waited for quite awhile) and stopped and did not say anything. My husband and I looked at each other and didn't know what to do but then he said "ready"?!?! And proceeded to take our order with no anything... we thought maybe he didn't speak English but it wasn't just that.. the vibe was way off like we had done something horrible wrong and he was angry and annoyed with us but we did not know what we did. The rest of the ordering/food delivery went the same way. 3. After the vibe was way off we sat waiting for the bill for maybe 30 min... no wine or dessert or anything that looked like we wanted to linger.. when the waiter came back with the bill the vibe was even more odd... so when my husband signed for the bill he kept asking us to "fill in the numbers" ... we didn't understand, he got agitated and that gave me time to look at the credit card notification that came in ... 105 USD?!? No... so I asked for the itemized receipt. He gave it to me and quickly walked off. This was not our bill... the waiter never came back and I had to get up and talk with the manager. He said they were working on it. When someone came to the table they said they could not void the ticket but they could give us cash back... for us, leaving Sweden this didn't work well but we took it.... All in all.... The entire time was odd and the vibe was way off... I could make judgments as to why but not going to here.

A welcome find for an excellent meal in Stockholm. Beautiful interior, very personable and helpful…read morestaff, and vast tapas menu. We have done Spanish tapas in Spain and elsewhere and we know what we like so it was fairly easy to choose our bites here. choices were-Potatas con Aioli-perfectly deep fried potato wedges with silky Aioli. The crispy outside and creamy inside made these a big favorite. Champinones al Ajillo-mushrooms sauteed in white wine and garlic. also delicious but a danger to your mouth if you don't let them cool a bit. Pan con Tomate-a decent version but the flavor was lacking we felt in the tomatoes and very little garlic. also sprinkled with cilantro. beware. Albondigas-meatballs in tomato sauce. nice flavor profile for the meatballs. the sauce while listed as spicy was just nicely herby. Croquetas de Pollo-deep fried bundles of flavor. Chicken with Serrano Ham. wonderful. Croquetas de Gambas-not quite as flavorful as the chicken version but still tasty. Pincho de Gambas-Skewered scampi with sweet chili and chili aioli. We ordered the chili aioli on the side fortunately. still a bit spicy for us with the seasoning on the shrimp. Only two shrimp per order. Ceviche de Gamba-Ceviche with tiger prawns, avocado, dill, lime & chili. Being still a bit hungry, I chose to test my limits on eating spicy and ordered this. Love ceviche but many times I am unable to enjoy it with my low spice tolerance. interestingly, served with no chips or bread. alas I was unable to endure this and the most gracious staff kindly removed it from our bill. Stockholm is a very expensive-in our opinion-place to visit and dine so our meal netted out to over $100 usd with no alcohol. If that works for you you'll experience a most enjoyable meal here in a warm atmosphere. Recommended.

So I…read moream a huge fan of Tapas, what can you not love about ordering multiple small plates and enjoying a little bit of everything? Well, I love it! The way it works here is that you are given a menu that you, yourself, pick the items on. Then you give the crossed of menu to your waitress/waiter and they put it in the computer and voila, after a short while you have your food. Simple, no miss-communication, and it adds to the fun. Our company of 7 requested our menus back since we otherwise would forget what we had ordered, and also to be able to order more if and when we wanted. I got the grilled Feta cheese with watermelon, butter fried chantarelle toast, quesedilla and pan fried potato wedges. First off, if you have never tried grilled feta with watermelon go straight to the supermarket, buy some feta and watermelon, go home, grill it up and be amazed! I sure was. It was SO good! The Quesedilla was also delicious, very spicy and they made it with creme cheese (hello goodness!!). The potatoes, well ... they were potatoes and tasted like potatoes should. The one thing I did not like was the butter fried chantarelle toast, I mean ... I would have guessed it because it said butter fried and I'm not a fan of butter tasting things. My husband ended up eating that one. The rest of the company thought their food was overall good, there was some complaints that there could have been more spices and salt on several things but I find that I'll rather add it myself than having something overly salty. About the place, where we were seated it was very crowded, when the place was full it seemed hard for the waitresses to get around, but from the looks of it they knew what they were doing. They might have had another space with seating entering towards the opposite, in fact, I think they did but I never explored it more than just seeing it. Overall, it was a great experience (the company also makes a huuuge impact right?) .. it's time to grill up some feta.

Service was good. Loved the ox cheek - it was so tender it fell apart as you looked at it and once in my mouth it just melted and merged with my soul. They also have a slider (mini burger) which is also a hit. I'd come back, no doubt.
