Was asked to visit their bar first as they slowly made their way through bringing people in to the restaurant to dine. Felt pressured ot order a drink, which I didn't really want to, so I didn't like this flow of entry to bar, to restaurant. Fortunately the drinks were tasty and very theatrical. Was eventually escorted into the restaurant. Seating is like a giant oval around an open kitchen. Energy is electric, loud, stimulating. Almost feels like your dining outside in a street food alley with neon signs everywhere. The food consisted of fusion and/or modern interpretations of street food classics from across Asia, and other parts of the world too. Highlights for us included the crudo japo-mexican de salmon and chili crab concha blanda. We did find that there was a high degree of citrus and thought that the tako de pulpo was a bit too acidic. For the bun cha shawarma, the noodles were okay but the beef burger and crispy Vietnamese rolls were yummy.

The Techno music is loud so just be aware of that. I loved it and couldn't stop dancing in my seat. It is first come first serve. Regis told me to go as soon as they opened. Even then, we got one of the last seatings by the bar where all the action is. It was so much fun seeing all the chefs and sous chefs shouting and working in harmony. Our server was amazing in recommending many of the dishes and drinks. I also got a kick out of their cool straight jacket chef's attire. One word to describe the food here; it is very avant-garde (Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese, Thai, Singapore). Our favorite dish of the night was the Vieira Asada (scallop with a green sauce). Honestly, I don't think you will go wrong with any of the items on the menu. Love how they describe each dish as they present it to you. Aside from food tasting the way it probably is meant to that we don't even know about stateside, this place was PHENOMENAL!!!! It is interesting to see that the concept of Chinese food is not universal from what I've had in the states. I know that the sisters thought I was a bit dramatic. I explained that you just don't understand. What we get in the states is Americanized, heavy, can be greasy, and sometimes bland. I thought I liked scallion chicken until I had theirs. Not the same. Even just the rice was divine!!! The rice tasted clean! The veggies were brightly colored, fresh and shrimp bits were in it. I was so fascinated by the food, pictures were the last things on my mind. Several dishes were ordered and there was not one disappointment with anything. Granted this was the most vegetables that I'd eaten in Spain, they were of an exceptional freshness and quality that would shame Whole Foods. The prices were great!!!! I found the interior to be quite elegant. It is beautifully lit to display clean lines, the sparkle of the dinnerware, and tasteful decor. The pride taken in this restaurant is very much in order as the efforts to deliver a comfortable and memorable experience is delivered. What is more is the service that we received was first class, yet personal. I once again had to explain that in the states, economic structures that benefit other groups tend to dismiss basic human respect towards the group that contributes the most to the progress of the former. While not always the case, that tends to be the norm from my experiences as with many others that look like me.. But, not this day. This man was sooooo attentive, kind, and personable. He flirted with my daughter so much that I thought he was serious. I still believe that he was but she wasn't having any of it. I thought it was cute. She did not. It was a stark contrast to experiences that I've mainly had my whole life and it was so refreshing. He was actually trying to look her up when he got to the states. I was seriously considering applying for food asylum at this restaurant! In future returns, I have every intention on finding hotels in the vicinity of this restaurant. Departure from the restaurant was the turning point that we began mourning the return to American industrialized foods. If this restaurant were a time capsule, I would happily serve my life between my ministry and working for food. The mind of a foodie is a much different perspective to which I don't expect everyone to relate. Staff was attentive and guided me and my friends through the menu. It is a very exotic menu so my limited Spanish could not determine "bull tail" "cow heart" and deconstructed gyoza. The nacho was basically ahi tuna with a nice wasabi over a large crispy won ton. Of course we started with a nice ceviche , but after that came wave after wave of really adventurous dishes. I hate to butcher the description of the rest of the dishes as it would not do it justice. I just ate and let my local hosts do the ordering.
