I have had severe back & neck paid since 1996 when my car was side-swiped by a car going over 60 MPH. I have had permanent neck and back damage since then which has been exasperated by being in another car accident and 2 really bad falls. I've been seeing Isaac since 2015 and he has helped me with the symptoms and the pain with trigger point injections, medication and referrals to Physical Therapy and a Neurologist. The Dr. has always been very professional, understanding and kind and his staff is wonderful, they try to make your appointment go smoothly and go out of their way to help with anything! Horrible experience!!!! The entire team is extremely unprofessional, lack human connection, and seem to not know what they're doing. The wait times are over a hour ( with appointment ) then you're rushed out, there is zero eye contact, and the front desk is a NIGHTMARE. The woman at the front is so extremely rude , condescending, and talks down to all patients. Before my prp procedure; she told me I was complaining too much and can come back another time if I can't stop complaining ( I asked how much longer it would be after waiting 50 minutes ). She began to argue with me , rolled her eyes, interrupted conversations between the doctor and myself. I have called numerous times for my MRI photos and she keeps telling me I'm in que and hangs up in my face. I've tried calling for days now and she refuses to send MY MRI results. I posted a review about 27 days ago with some pics showing staff not wearing masks. Today I went in for my appointment and Behnoush told me I would be sued for posting these pictures and that he was talking to lawyers. I took the pictures down but I believe it is still important that you know as a patient that this office does not practice safe COVID-19 protocol. I visited 06/19,07/29,08/26. I just had to write a review about Dr. Zarrrini's office at 9100 Wilshire Blvd. He has the best staff I have encountered in health care. Tina is so amazing! I just adore her. She has gone above and beyond her duties each time I visit. Her kindness goes such a long way. She took care of my needs even when I went to wrong the location once. And also, Jasmine and Layla are so kind and they get you in and out of the office with a smile. Dr. Zarrini is so fortunate in today's world to have Tina, Jasmine, and Lala and so I hope he reads this and acknowledges how they go "Above and Beyond" their work duties. My primary care provider sent me to see Dr. Zarrani as my new pain management, but somehow I got stuck with his assistant Dr. Issac Zedner. My first visit, he made no eye contact, mostly talked to the computer and not me. My second, third and fourth visit was no different. He talks down to you, doesn't listen or care about your pain or opinions. I find him to be very rude with bad bed side manners. Giving him a one star is far too generous. He deserves ZERO. I'm a L1 Burst fracture with severe neuropathy with lesions on my cauda equina and lower back ache . I'm in a wheelchair for 23 years. 20years of taking Roxicodone with zero issues just pain management. The drug addicts have destroyed people like me getting pain relief. I have been looking for a pain doctor for 3-4 years now that understands " pain" and my injury ! I went to this office because they told me they write this medicine but when I got there all they pushed was NUCYNTA garbage !! I tried it, I'm open to trying new meds, who knows. All this medicine did was keep me cold and sneeze and did zero for my leg pain / back body ache. I even called and they make you take a medicine even if you're having side effects !!! First in my book of doctors of 23 years!!! Horrible - I go back the other day not happy and Dr.Zarrini says I can either "increase " NUCYNTA or take Suboxone!! I was so confused and not felling well and just annoyed. I just said Nycynta ( why I'm unsure !) I tried the 300 mil a day and it was worse- I called that night and said I didn't want to try a higher dose and rather try the Suboxone. The office called me next day and said I choose my medicine and it has to stay till next month !!! Who says that ? I've never had a doctor make you take something or talk to you on the phone ! The receptionist told me he won't come to the phone. I'm sorry I've been to the very best pain doctors and they always called and had me come back in and we went over my full injury and management plan. I refused to have another miserable month and went back to my old doctor ! But the guy who helps with consultations his name is Isaac, he is so rude and rude every day, such as the most unwelcome attitude.... Extremely long wait time! Pain mgt. first timer here! Don't let them sell you the 8:am slot it doesn't take more then 15 minutes to fill out paperwork. If you do make sure your phone is charged because you won't find boring magazines to fill your time anymore. That is actually a good thing. When someone hands you a cup for a urine sample they better keep a chain of custody on your sample. This did not happen! It was just sitting out on a cart with another sample for any passers by to knock it on to the floor. Usually there is communication reciprocated about where you need to leave ur sample? No one even talked about this or gave me any instruction? After the introduction of names it was straight to QnA and if he (The Doctor letting everyone know about what his religion was.) and his medical assistant didn't like what I answered they would manipulate my answer to fit their narrative. Even if the answers seemed arbitrary. Both the doctor and his towel boy tried to tell me that no one has pain in their leg. I have a hole in my leg the size of a goofball and you don't want to see it? He said "No thats okay I don't need to see it. A weeping wound persistent for over a year and you don't want to see it. On the contrary this is an extremely painful wound worse then my back break @ L4,5. The prescribed medication turned out to be something completely different as described. Even the brand/generic name was different. The additional prescriptions that were supposed to be supplemented in addition to... where not mentioned and when I called back to get answers it was as if I was out of my mind. There was complete wall of resistance meet when trying to get answers once I left this office. Conclusion: 100% Total incompetence. Action taken: Dissolve contract w/PM amending patient records in accordance with HIPAA IMO: Throughly consider your situation and your options. It's very rare to find a doctor who checks all the boxes you want checked in a doctor...what's even MORE rare is to find a doctor AND his entire STAFF that, not only checks the boxes, but surpasses the expectation that we, as patients, have had to come to accept. And this is especially true when it comes to anything related to the field of pain management. Let's face it, there's not a single physician these days who's willing to truly address a patients pain because they're afraid of losing their license, due to all these new regulations that the federal government has slapped on the medical field. And, so, the journey of finding a Pain Management doctor that you, not only trust, but who's willing to talk to you about the various medications that could ease the pain & is not shy about prescribing narcotics when all else fails, begins. Thankfully, my journey was pretty short, as it took me only 2 other "attempts" of finding what I described above. Enter: Dr. Zarrini & Dr. Issac! My case is incredibly complicated & multi-issued & often difficult for anyone to truly grasp the severity of the pain that I live with, every minute of every single day, for the past 18 MONTHS!!! As a gymnast & then dancer, I've been plagued with every Ortho issue you can think of...the latest being my cervical spine & left shoulder. I had emergency surgery in June on my cervical spine & am in need of a total shoulder replacement. But, I wanted to do anything/everything available before pulling the trigger on the replacement gun, if you will... I was referred to Dr Zarrini by one of my Ortho docs. When I called to make my initial appointment, Mark answered the phone, I explained a bit of my problem & he was able to get me scheduled for the following week! I don't know what your experiences are, but, for me, when trying to make an appt as a "new patient", it's like I've been tagged & pushed to the back of the bus ... and the next available is always 10-14 WEEKS out!!! I brought all my tests, MRIs, X-rays, op reports, etc. to my appointment, filled out the necessary paperwork & took out my book I was reading & settled down, in the expectation of having to wait at least 20-30 min before being called in. Imagine my surprise when I heard my name being called before I could open the book! Upon entering the room, a lovely nurse or tech, came in to take my vitals & about 45 seconds after she was done, Isaac walked in! He looked at everything I'd brought, asked insightful, appropriate questions & was very thoughtful in his responses to my questions. I'd been on a high dose of Percocet for several months at the time of my appt. & Isaac wanted to try something new that he said had better, longer lasting effects. Because I was there to find a pain management doctor who was going to be able to FINALLY take the edge off my misery & NOT because I was "drug seeking", I accepted his proposal &, actually, was looking forward to it! But, my pharmacist called to tell me that my insurance doesn't cover that med at all. After calling the office back & speaking with Mark who relayed the info to Issac & Dr Zarrini, they went ahead & called in the Percocet that I had been taking. My pain is "unique" & most people don't understand or try to understand how it's severity affects my every day life...but it felt as though everyone here was trying to...& not pushing their own agenda ("Opiates are no good. No Opiates for you.") that everyone else in this town is. That being said: if you are looking for a doctor to just pull out his/her pad & write a bunch of pain meds for you, then this is not the doctor for you. (And good luck finding one of those left anyway!) If you're looking for someone to listen to your symptoms & concerns & who thinks "outside the box" in trying to find a solution to curtailing or better yet, stopping your pain, then this IS the team for you! In addition to medication management, they offer epidurals, injections, nerve blocks, cortisone shots in the office, if it's indicated, among other things. In fact, on one of my last visits, Isaac cane back into the room as Dr Zarrini was giving me a shot to talk about a new/trial procedure that helps alleviate pain. Dr Zarrini didn't think it would help in the areas I need the help, but they gave me the info so I can show it to any prospective shoulder surgeons I meet with - and see if they think it could be a possible stop gap to get more time before I go in for that incredibly difficult & invasive surgery. I go in every month for them to review my situation - and I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes in the waiting area & even less than that to before Isaac comes in! AND they validate parking - as long as you're in the correct parking structure!!! (BEHIND the building, the only entrance into the structure is by turning into the little back alley just south of Wilshire) Your search is over...all you need to do now is call & make the appointment!!! read more

Abusulty love the staff!!! Kathy, Lena, and Christian. They are so friendly, happy, and wonderful. They make the office have such an amazing happy environment. For many years I have been seeing Dr.Zarrini and from all the staff the office has. They have been the best. They are clean and organized and wonderful. On these hard moments they have done on and beyond on having everyone safe. Kathy is always cleaning everything, from pens to clipboards, including mopping the floor. Lena and Christian as well from disaffecting every room and lobby. They have been the reason why I keep coming back because Dr.Zarrini and his physician Isaac are rude and sometimes disrespectful but thanks to there wonderful staff myself and patients keep coming back. In addition to the fact that it took a week to even schedule an appointment with this office--because the first time I called, I was told no one was there who could make an appointment, and then no one called me back--the PA interrogated me to fill out the form on his computer, then ignored everything else I had to say. Then he decided to change my treatment that I've been on for 6+ years. Then he sent my prescriptions to some pharmacy in a different county that would send them to me by mail . He said it would take 48 hours. I gave him written permission to get my files from my most recent doctor in NY, then reminded the front desk person to please do that before my next visit, and I got a sort of "maybe, we'll see" response (they never did). A few days later, the pharmacy called me asking for my insurance info, because the office didn't send it. Then they called to say that only one of my prescriptions had cleared. Then, over two weeks later, I have an hour long conversation with my insurance during which we find out that a) the PA left out two of my prescriptions, and b) both the office and the pharmacy had ignored the insurance company's request to "pre-authorize" the other prescriptions. The rep from my insurance co. spoke to the pharmacy first, then had to call the Doctor's office five times to get someone on the phone. Their response was that they'd get around to calling the pharmacy when they have time, but they had other things to do. The insurance rep was getting the idea by this point, and called them "unprofessional". I have a few more colorful words for their behavior, the first of which is "malpractice". I never did get the rest of my medications from this pharmacy, which I believe is giving kickbacks to the office or some other scam, because it makes absolutely no sense to be sent my prescriptions by overnight mail from Santa Barbara rather than just going to my local Walgreens. So I had to go back to see this horrible office a second time. The PA was completely clueless, and had no idea that the drug I told him would get rejected by the insurance did get rejected, and that only one of my many other prescriptions was filled. He called in Dr. Zarrini, who then scolded me for having the nerve to be angry with the utter incompetence of this entire practice. He agreed to write my prescriptions--on paper, so *I* could fill them--on the condition that I would never come back to the office. Fine by me. read more

Sadly I must disagree with people who wrote nice reviews of Dr Zorrini. 1st off difficult to get to if u have disabilities. They say they validate,but when I put the validation into the machine it came back saying I owed $4.75. I had not brought funds so I got out of the car to see what I could do.It was after 5pm so the office was closed. I was very upset.I have a broken back in the 4th Lumbar.Mucho pain. I had no idea what to do when the woman behind me ran up & said I'll help you. She popped her card into the machine & up came the bar. I was very lucky she happened to be right behind me.I might still be there! Kidding. I would have found a way out.. I too have had trouble reaching anyone in the office.The staff seems disorganized. When I was there I thought it was like a"Puppy Mill." The staff was not very helpful with questions I had. They came in & out of the front leaving the desk without anyone there for some time. They also like to compare U to other people.Saying "Well,we never had that problem with anyone else." Like it was all me! I also had to wait a very long time. My appt was at 2:30 I was seen about 4:30pm. Got out at 5pm. Hed to get the validation which they should have given me befor I left. When I finally did see the real doctor. He spent 5 minutes with me or so, & scheduled me for an epidural for my lower back & told me they would schedule the ones for my neck after my back was done. I asked for some pain meds & someone said."Would U like some Neurontin? " like I was shopping for meds. You would think the doctor would talk with you about what U might need to carry till U would get an epidural,(which by the way i really didn't want at the end of Dec.) It is not FDA approved for this procedure!!! As most of U know it is very dangerous,risky,& often does more harm than good. it can damage nerves.Possibly make you lose control of your bowels,bladder. Very scary. I watched several videos of the procedure. Which by the way they want to put U into a twilight sleep. I didn't want that,but saw videos where people said," Be ready to kick your feet." It looks like the needle goes quite deep so I guess it is almost like a serious surgery. It is a great deal for the doctor. He gets $2,000 per treatment & usually does 3 so that is $6,000 Than to do my neck which would really scare me to death it would be 3 more big deal epidurals which is another $6,000 for the doctor. He gets $12,000 + for doing 6 epidurals. He didn't offer me anything for pain from last week till Dec 21st which is when he planned to do a #NON FDA epidural. I called several to see if the doctor could prescribe me some pain meds. His flunkies who seem to run around like ,"3 blind mice" doing most of the treatment & most of the talking. I saw more of those guys than the actual doctor. At some point doing my 5 mins with Dr.Zorrini we were talking about 20ty%. I said," Well 20ty% of somethings can be quite expensive.I gave an example & the dr. said under his breathe."I don't have time for this." What? The doctor can't spend 5 minutes with his new patient who waited over 2 & 1/2 hours to see him for those losey 5 mins? Wrong. That to me is not a good doctor/patient relationship. He has no time for listening to something his patient has to say?? Oh ,I forgot to mention when I was going there the parking is in another building which they can't really explain very well on the phone as to where it is. I had to call back several times. I had been told they had up covered parking.I didn't discover it till by sheer accident I had to ride the elevator to the top with some other people.When the doors opened.There on the top of maybe 6 stories was outside parking,but to get to it U must drive up 6 levels. Before that I was told there was parking on the 2nd level. No it was all reserved parking till the 3rd level. The issue for me is I drive a very old bus,so I worry about it being too high or to close to the ceiling. I got to the 2nd level turned as I was told to do & came to a concrete wall. Tough to turn a bus around with all the cars parked there. I am driving with my broken back & walking with crutch. It was a real pain in the ass just to park. Anyhow,I tried to call to get some pain meds called in or mailed to my pharmacy no go. Than 1 of the flunkies that work there argued with me. Did not have an compassion for me or my horrible broken back pain & I have FM too. All all they were very unprofessional & I got the feeling all that doctor is about is doing what I discovered on the internet MAKING MONEY OFF A NON FDA TREATMENT: THE EPIDURAL!! Please don't take my word for it. Do your own research regarding why doctors love to give epidurals.$$$$$ bucks into their pockets for something which may or may not help your pain. Hi I was a patiant of Dr zarrini after my spine surgery in 2012. I was given to his direction. He came to hospital to introduce himself. Very nice Dr! Great bedside manner. Went to the hospital he took very good care of me! I would refer him to most anyone in pain. He cares! Go see him! In BH s on Wilshire and Doheny. Too far for me now. He is one of the best as in caring! I.wish so bad i could go back to his practice! He and wife run . Its just a long drive ea month. He is worth it tho! But now shoulder probs. I went to Dr's office and was set for an epidural injection at a surgical center. Thereafter, I consulted with 2 orthos (shoulder and cervical) about sever pain my my shoulder blade muscles, where both surgeons said this specific pain comes from my neck. Dr Z does a standard injection site at C6/7. My surgeons said I needed an epidural at C5/6, to cover all the cervical nerves. I cancelled the epidural and made a telephonic appointment with Dr Z. Only, Dr Z did not call me, and so what happened when I called the office right after, to ask my Dr did not keep his appointment? The same office person Dr has had since 2017, started freaking out, put me on hold, and came back asking my name 3 times. Of course I was a patient and that had that info. Still I spelled my entire name the 2nd time I was asked. The 3rd time I told her I was placed on a hold that only ended when I hung up, after 10 minutes. I wrote Dr a QC letter, and got a call from a guy, who raised his voice to me, and started arguing. Not Professional! read more

They have helped me with pain that I am experiencing caused by a herniated disc. Anytime I have needed medication they have gone out of their way to make sure I have the medication I need for the pain I'm experiencing. I highly recommend this Doctor. Also there's a lady by the name of Lena that works at the front desk. She is a wonderful young lady, very polite, and works very hard in the office to make sure all the patients needs are met. STAY AWAY I am disabled and wheelchair-bound. A) This office is VERY difficult for disabled people to reach, as one must climb a flight of stairs to reach the elevator that reaches this office. The handicapper lift is only operable by a permanently-vacant security guard. B) The malpractice and discrimination I received from this office was dangerous, and demeaning. Firstly, after the receptionist had me fill out hardcopy paperwork, she then had me electronically sign release forms that she would not show to me, she would only summarize them verbally. This is unethical and illegal. Secondly, after being led to a room, the "Doctor's assistant" Isaac swiftly kicked me out of the office, citing that I am a "drug user" (medical marijuana, to which I freely admitted to and have a license for) and that I had not brought my images (images that were already in my file). Isaac arrogantly stated to me, "the doctor will not see you" and then left the room. As I was leaving, Isaac apparently realized his enormous error and tried to back-pedal his statements, showering me with insincere apologies for my "inconvenience" while still denying me care. Dr. Zarrini made zero attempt to resolve the situation, but instead decided to physically assist me out of the office, wheeling my chair and such whilst I demanded repeatedly that he not touch me or my chair. These physical and verbal harassments were in no way a kindness, they were misogynistic and patronizing, all women everywhere know exactly the scenario that I am referring to. A few days later I received an authorization from my insurance, Isaac had requested a battery of drug tests on my behalf. This office's specialty is Pain Management. It is absolutely not okay to deny care to disabled people who are in pain. As a service to my fellow disabled brothers and sisters of Los Angeles, I will be reporting these events to the Medical Board of California and requesting a formal review of Dr. Zarrini's practice. I have been seeing Dr. Zarrini for a few years now. I see him for epidural shots in my neck and pain medication stemming from two back surgeries. I have seen many pain management doctor's over the last 14 years for epidurals and I can tell you that no doctor can compare to Dr. Zarrini. After an epidural series I have 6-8 months of reasonable relief and that is way more than any other doctor I have seen. With all the opioid problems I'm glad that I have Dr. Zarrini looking after me, making sure we manage my chronic pain without any danger. Chronic pain is no joke but with the right people on your team you can find a way to manage it and I would always opt for Dr. Zarrini to be on my team. read more

Dr Zarrini has been a lifesaver. I've been seeing him for a few years now and he's changed my life. Before I started seeing him, I had incredible headaches that would incapacitate me for days at a time every month. I had been to neurologists, GPs and more and just kept getting prescribed drugs that did nothing. Dr Zarrini theorised that my neck may have some spinal issues at the core of my problems. And he was right. Years later and I can move my neck and the headaches are nothing but a memory. Don't listen to the people complaining on here. If you're looking for someone who can actually help you manage your pain and not just someone who prescribes painkillers then Dr. Zarrini is the man to see. read more

This has been my pain management doctor for over 2 years now, and they do an Excellent job of reviewing my status and treating me as a good friend, not a patient. Alex and Mark do an amazing job running the business, while Dr's. Zarrini and Dr. Zedner take care of us patients. Overall, an excellent clinic. If you have chronic pain, or any significant pain at all, this is NOT the Dr. to see. He is not compassionate, and barely asked me any questions about my pain. He was more concerned with the local kosher restaurant making sure his lunch was blessed by a rabbi. He is a disgrace to doctors. He gives pills to junkies, but someone with a legitimate pain, he dismisses. Please save your money on this visit. He should not be allowed to practice medicine. The mail man would have asked more questions about my pain. Its very sad that a dr cares more about what hes having for lunch than his patients health. read more
