At the previous school my child was hit by a teacher and we created an investigation. So I wanted my child to be in an educational system in which I could have access to video monitoring services and one that held teachers accountable. So I as any parents of a little one I was skeptical of every place that I went to observe and I ended liking kiddie academy because of their philosophy, rules, and how they hold teachers accountable. My child has a few couples of days getting used to his new school and he did bite a child one day and got suspended. However in no time he learned to get a long with the rest of the children and be friends with children. I saw my child grow as the little butterfly he is and be confident in his social skills and educational journey. He was able to graduate from pre-K with his peers and do the summer program as well. He loved it so much that me that he is in kinder he tells me he misses Kiddie academy friends and teachers. The team is amazing and wonderful and I will forever be grateful they took care of my little one as one of theirs.

Each time myself or another parent shared a poor experience on there, the replies came across as cold, generic, defensive, and frankly gaslighting, lacking any genuine empathy or understanding. Unfortunately, my in-person experience matched that tone exactly. The atmosphere earns a 1/5 at best. The building feels far more like a sterile clinic or office than a warm, inviting elementary school or preschool. The outdoor play area is extremely small and limited, with very little equipment for the children. Even small details like Christmas stockings with typed and stapled staff names suggesting high turnover, and awards displayed on the walls that are all several years outdated gave the impression that things have declined and aren't improving. Those old awards seem to be up there for a reason: nothing recent to replace them with. The staff interaction was the worst part, warranting a 0/5. I found them consistently rude, condescending, and disingenuous. They gossip openly about the director and each other in front of kids and parents. If your child is remotely unsettled, you're called to do an early pickup. Staff do not seem to enjoy their jobs, and it shows. You'd see kids walk out from the day with mucus dried and crusted from never being cleaned during the day. During a visit, I observed teachers chatting among themselves for several minutes while a young child slid down the slide and hit their head at the bottom and only got attention once he started crying. My own kid was injured quite badly by the teacher which is why we disenrolled immediately. My kid used to HATE it here, cried every day about having to go, and wow I can't imagine why. What struck me was how indifferent the staff seemed toward families leaving. When we decided to withdraw, there was no curiosity about why, no attempt to understand our concerns, and certainly no effort to retain us. It genuinely felt like it didn't matter to them whether we stayed or left. That complete lack of care or investment in the families they serve spoke volumes. This similar observation was also echoed in another Google review that's also now gone. Practical issues only made things worse - parking is severely limited, turning drop off and pick up into chaos with constant car horns and aggressive maneuvering. The overall operation felt disorganized and unwelcoming from the moment I arrived. I'm genuinely baffled that this place had a waitlist. We quickly found a much better option just down the road- one that actually feels like a school, with engaging play spaces and genuinely kind, warm staff. My kid LOVES the new school and is thriving there. I'm just sad that this was our first experience in a learning environment when there are clearly MUCH better options. I didn't even get into everything like the complete and utter lack of communication. Even for free, I wouldn't consider it worth the time or stress. Save yourself the disappointment and look elsewhere.

My son cried for weeks, I got calls/texts everyday for early pick up. Several times I found him sitting on the floor or on the swing, crying by himself. I felt that they are massively understaffed. Some of the teachers are kind, nice and caring but they are overwhelmed. We found the nido leadership to be rude and incompetent. They implied that something is wrong with our baby and maybe he will need special care/attention. One of them said she "has not seen a baby who has so much social anxiety in her whole career". Anyway, we moved to a different daycare, my son took two weeks to adjust, he likes the teachers there and is thriving now!! We are actually glad that Montessori One didn't work out for us.

They have no formal training on infant development and especially infant socio-emotional development. There were always subs so I had to leave my daughter with people I did not know. One of the subs did not even speak English. She left my baby unattended on top of a changing table and that was my last straw. The director Sarah does a good job of marketing the place and is kind of like a used car salesman. The campus is beautiful though.

This school has been absolutely perfect for our family since he was diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum as being a child with High-Functioning Autism. He is not in a special education classroom and is not on an IEP and does not need to be at this school. The school treats each child as an individual and educates them to their specific needs and abilities. The school has a four-day school week and there is no homework being brought home. My nephew has been allowed to advance at his own level, even up to the next grade level, and does not have the stigma of being treated like he is in special education. All children are on a behavior management program where they are rewarded for good behavior and he is frequently going on field trips. Bullying is treated appropriately and I'm ecstatic to hear my nephew be able to actually say for the first time that he has "friends." He has sensory issues with clothes and is allowed to wear clothes that are comfortable to him. I like this school because my nephew is treated like a capable child and for the first time in his life is enjoying school and really likes his teachers. It's a pleasure to see him come home from school in a good mood and a lot of his behavioral issues at home have greatly decreased since he has been enrolled at this school. I would totally recommend this school to any parent who has a child on the autism spectrum and/or has ADHD/ADD, or has any type of learning disability.

I went to that school from preschool (they called it k-4 when I was in it) all the way up until 8th grade. There were many different principals while I was there but my experience with one of them, Mrs. Cordova, was the most memorable and was my main reason for such a hateful review. She would often take advantage of the fact that I was not only stupid as a preteen, but that I was always the one being walked all over. She had been my 2nd grade teacher, and not long after became the principal. She tried to get me to be a mediator for a group of girls in my class that caused the most issues and were the main bullies in the school at the time. She also never suggested solutions or helped in any way when it came to academic problems. At the time, the math teacher was one of her close friends and she would, in fact, "play the devils advocate" whenever anyone said any sort of issue they had with the math teacher, including with her own son. Different children have different needs and some are more sensitive than others. It was not helpful or kind of her to always try and pin the blame on me for not understanding what the teacher was teaching. They would suggest tutoring but a middle schooler and a high schooler being put together for tutoring doesn't work well OFTEN. High schoolers can and DO get distracted easily, especially in an environment where they are not allowed to get distracted or talk much with their friends until lunchtime which was when tutoring was. This school was not helpful unless you were one of the really academically strong kids, and that was my issue. It also was not a very okay environment to be gay in, especially when it was covid and it felt like the world was ending. It was not a good experience for me overall, but I would like to apologize about the hateful and disrespectful review. It doesn't reflect the person that I am now. Please just be mindful of your children and remember, every sin is seen the same in God's eyes and we don't chastise or intimidate our children and relatives for eating bacon like we have gay people for being gay. He's the biggest kid there by far in his grade there are a few things just like any other school that worry me a little Bit And it doesn't mean the schools bad it just means some of the teachers need to get their act together. I really hope some of them don't play favorites but I'm sure that many of the people that write these horrible reviews about this wonderful school have that favorite game they play to I'm sure they played every day at work. I am a former student from this school. My experience at Amy bhiel was not good, even after I left…read morethe school. They are not a college prep school, but they skip many credits required to graduate that other schools require. Additionally, when I moved schools, a lot of the classes that I took at Amy Bhiel didn't count as credits and I had to do a lot more work during my senior year of high school. I also missed out on a lot of high school experiences because they do not have sports, they have extremely limited clubs, and not a lot of non-academic extra-curriculars. The school size was too small, and there were only a small handful of students throughout each class that I had. They did not prepare me or teach me things I needed to know, and I found myself falling behind the academic level most students at other schools were at. There are little to no AP classes and the area the school is located is sketchy and unsafe, especially for teenagers. I would not recommend this school to anybody, and if you do attend Amy Bhiel, I recommend staying for all 4 years of high school because of how badly their classes will screw you over when switching.

I was unaware i wasnt supposed to come back with my friends because i wasnt enrolled (even though i wasnt hiding and everyone knew me) i tried getting a visitor pass but couldnt due to not having my id. i only went because i had no ride home and one of my friends was my ride. i went to my friends first period and the teacher knew me and was fine with me there. I was not disruptive or disrespectful in any way. then I got pulled into Hallies office and got told i was trespassing and i tried explaining my situation and i wanted to see if i could get a visitor pass, i was very respectful and she was VERY rude and disrespectful to me, She kicked me out and told me to walk to the public library i had told her i wasnt good with streets because im not familiar with the area and she replied with "Well maybe you should learn". VERY DISRESPECTFUL. Mind you im a MINOR, ALONE, on the streets of central. i walked across the street to look up directions and i got catcalled IMMEDIATELY. THANKFULLY, a security guard from SIMS came up to me and took me into his building. but even he said it was dangerous to be walking alone and he told me not to walk to the library because it would be unsafe. if i did decide to walk to the library im 100% sure something would have happened. They DID NOT care for my saftey AT ALL, reguardless if im a student or not they could have handled it in a better way and atleast made me wait in the office. They put me in danger when i was unaware and i don't tolerate that. besides the administrators the teachers are wonderful, if you want good teachers id recommend this school but for saftey for your child i would NOT recommend this school trust worthy. if its THAT easy to walk in the doors who knows who can just come in.
