My son started at La Petite when he was 1. He is now 6 and in Kindergarten. He is excelling and doing above average work for his age. This I can give thanks to La Petite! Although they have completely flipped staff from when he was 1, the new staff has so much more organization, communication, and overall professionalism then before. The environment is one that I felt safe for my son to go to everyday! All the teachers were great, and they are sure to make sure all new teachers are up to their standards and expectations. Jana, Erika, and Ms. Shaima were the most impactful on my son! Not to say that any of the other teachers were not impactful, but these three went above and beyond for my child. I would highly recommend this academy looking for childcare. read more

I had to jump on here to share my family's AMAZING experience here at La Petite Aurora (Wagon trail road). First off let me say childcare is no walk in the park for anyone! ESPECIALLY during COVID times! These amazing staff members make this school such a warm and welcoming place! My child has been in childcare since she was 9 wks old! We have experienced good/bad things about childcare but who doesn't. The director Ms Christina make me feel welcomed and is sooo kind to my child! She is always sharing things about my daughters day, which to any parent is huge! Her teachers Ms. Annie and Ms. Kyee greet my daughter with love and smiles each time I drop off and pick up! You can watch kiddos from work/home on their app and this is super appreciative! Her teachers are constantly following protocols by keeping their room spotless and constantly washing children's hands! I can't get over how happy my kiddo comes home and how much she loves going to school! The whole staff knows my daughters name and love sharing their stories about her! Thank you all for having such an amazing school and working so hard to keep us parents and kiddos happy! I know times are not easy but you all do such an amazing job! Since the previous director left this location I have been disappointed in the lack of customer service. It's present director thinks that because a lot of families have been having a difficult time during the location's transition period that it is acceptable and she does not have to apologize for having charged me a late fee for paying my tuition a whole week early. She has no emotions when I tell her this is our money and children that we are entrusting to them and they have taken the children to school late - hence my son having tardies since school began - and charging us weird fees. Disappointing and although I have liked the previous years will definitely not recommend this place. My son is telling his peers not to consider this place when they ask. read more

This review is only based on a tour of the school since that pretty much cemented me not sending my child there. The director barely greeted me with a "hi, ok sit down for a minute," while she silently got an ipad booted up. She was so unwelcoming and cold. Then the tour showed that it was one giant room with each age group of students barely sectioned off by some bookshelves. It was dimly lit and seemed so drab. Not a bright, fun, inviting place a little kid would want to spend all day M-F. (La Petite is a chain and the photos on Yelp are posted from corporate. This is not what this location looks like inside.) And the kicker is that it's basically the same price as MUCH nicer daycare centers in the area! I'm giving them one star for having a secure entrance and one start for having a nice outdoor play area. Otherwise ... nope. read more

My son went to that daycare from may until late December. I was very nervous about him going to a daycare since he has always been watched by I or his grandfather. But since I had to start working and I was paying so much money I thought he would do well. The place is clean but other then that, the rest of our experince is awful. Paula the director is rude and extremely difficult to talk to. She tried cashing two voided checks I had made out to her months ago and then tried to blame my bank. When she refused to refund me my money I had to let my bank get involved and in the end I did get my money back after months of fighting about it. Shortly after that my 3 yr old son came home and told me that his teacher pinched his arm when I reached out to the director she made excuses for her teacher and then proceeded to suggest my son was to blame for Ms. Laura pinching him. After that I thought perhaps it was a misunderstanding on my sons part and let it go, but when he told his grandfather that she pinched him again about a week later enough was enough and I switched him to a different daycare that does cost alittle more but well worth the price. I am writing his review to warn people of this place not for the parents for the kids that have to endure such an awful place away from people that can protect them. read more

I love the teachers at this school. They do fun activities with the children. I see children dancing and singing, and creating fun artwork! The meals they serve are always so healthy. While they are having fun they also have circle time and have a great curriculum. I love this La Petite! read more

This place is disgusting. The Director is so rude and always late! One time I came to drop off my kids. And there's only one teacher with 29 Kids. Toddler and Pre-K are mixed in one class. Don't bring your kids here because it's seriously not safe in this place. Worst daycare center ever! Toys are everywhere. They don't clean the table. They let kids watch movies that is not appropriate for their age. They don't know how to treat parents and substitutes. The Director si really really really rude. read more

Unsafe environment for your children! I wish I read the reviews on Yelp before starting my daughter at this daycare, but I was needing childcare within a week and placed my daughter here only temporarily until I found a better fit. The first week I had not many concerns, just little things I didn't think anything of until one morning I was dropping my daughter off (who is 5), as we were checking in, the schools little shuttle bus pulled up to the door, running and full of kids. The driver got off the bus and left it running and the door open as she went inside to find a child she had left behind, leaving the bus unattended! Next, my daughter started complaining about nap time. I asked her what the matter was and she showed me how they are supposed to lay while they nap. She laid face down with her face in the ground. She told me the teacher would yell if they tried to move and how hard it was to breath(in CO I know this is against the law). Another incident was when my daughter injured her hand on the playground (which looked like it needed a little TLC of its own) I went to pick her up after work and when I got there she was holding her hand. I looked at her hand and her fingers were swollen, bruised and cut. I asked why I was not notified when the accident occurred and I was told that they do not let parents know of injuries unless they are from the child's shoulders up until you pick your child up from school. Many times teachers would be yelling at children when I would come in the afternoon. The police showed up one afternoon because of an incident. My daughter's teacher was talking negatively about me with another staff member in front of my daughter. The front office was left unattended almost every day. The director was difficult to find or get in touch with, teachers would be on cell phones while kids ran around wildly, children where often placed in front of a TV set(which your contract states they will not watch movies at my daughters age). By the end of week 2 I had to pry my daughter out of bed in the morning and struggle to get her to go there. She absolutely hated it. I do not like how the teachers treat the kids, how the program is ran, how dirty and run down the facility is and how easy it is for anyone to get in the building since the door code is never changed and nobody is in the front office to monitor who enters and leaves the building. This is not a safe place for your child. I am very unhappy with how things went even after discussing the issues with the director. She never apologized, nothing changed and nothing was her fault. I let the director know we would not be continuing at the daycare and asked for my money back for the following week and she would not give me my money back. You would think after the nightmare experience she would offer to give a refund on the last week we were not going to use. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE! read more

My daughter was one when she started going here. She literally had been off of the bottle a week and had just started using a sippy. During the tour I told the lady who showed me around she was on Almond milk, which she said I would have to provide. I always provided her milk in the past, so this did not matter to me. The first day I received a call from the school stating they could not give her almond because it was a no nut facility. They said they would have to give her soy milk. I totally understood and told them that, that was fine as well. Everyday she was coming home super fussy and we just assumed maybe she was not taking long enough naps so we would put her down. My husband usually picked up, so I never met her teachers. One day my husband had a meeting so I picked up and asked the teacher how she was doing on soy. She said they had never given her any soy, because they had not ordered it for her! TWO WEEKS! TWO WEEKS she had no milk at school! ONLY WATER! This is why she was so fussy when getting home. I was furious! I was not going to write a review, but I am livid because I received a collection notice for the tuition from that week. First off I told the director I would be submitting a stop payment, she agreed that I should not have to pay. I should've asked for all of my money back due to the negligence of the staff, but I did not. I only wanted the week she would not be attending because I did not trust them with my BABY! If you are looking for a daycare, don't go here! My husband drives an hour out of his way to pick her up from Kindercare and we pay $50 more a month, just to have the piece of mind! read more

My granddaughter enjoys going to this La Petite location. She has been going here for the last two years and her learning growth and social growth have been phenomenal. She comes home singing songs and telling us the stories that were read to her at school. She is also now counting in Spanish! The teachers are very understanding, attentive and flexible. Additionally, Ms. Azam, the Director, always takes the time to listen to us, as we seek her help when dealing with our little one's "bad days". We as grandparents feel very fortunate to have our granddaughter in this safe and nurturing environment. read more

This daycare has been one big problem since before we started. The center Director, assistant director, and teachers do not have the proper training to speak with clients. Ie: the people keeping their doors open. They are abrupt, do not listen, and take no accountability for items brought to their attention. They are verbally abusive to the children. Many of the teachers do not have English as their first language. This causes language barriers among the classrooms resulting in chaos. Poor environment, poor communications, poor rating. This gets a big thumbs down. read more

I love the staff and the positive enviornment. My daughter has great teachers and learns so much everyday. The children have freedom to play, dance, sing, make art; and all while have an educational structure. It is wonderful. The director is polite and helpful, as is the assistant director. read more

I am a mother of 3 and the staff at La Petite have been much better than my previous experiences with daycares as they actually seem to enjoy children. All of my children are happy and excited when being dropped off and picked up. There are a variety of choices the children can play with and I have observed well structured classes with the younger kids. When there are issues, the director and/or the assistant director have promptly handled the situations. I appreciate all of their hard work and dedication in caring for my children. read more
