I have heard from my friends how they haven't really helped them and how they were pushed right off the bat to sign up for a membership. After having my second child my left hip butt area was constantly bothering me. Before kids it did bother me from time to time but I would do exercise that my husband gave me that helped but my husband's knowledge on manipulation and such was limited. Now the pain became constant and I proceeded to seek out a chiropractor. I called several places but my insurance didn't cover it and pricing was quite pricey. Then I found Beecher chiropractic - the reviews I read on Yelp and Google were good so I gave it a go and it helps that it was literally less than 5 minutes from my house. First visit was to explain my issue, when it hurt, how long, etc. Then he did his assessments and was confident that with some exercises and follow ups that we would resolve my pain. Love to hear that! He showed me exercises to do at home once a day for two weeks. When I came back for my follow up I have improved with minimal pain. With each follow up I improved to where my pain was resolved! My follow up appointments lengthen in between to make sure I was maintaining and the issue didn't return. When I told my husband about my initial appointment and showed him my exercises, he was impressed! He said I found a great chiropractor! Physical Therapist approved! Haha The front desk is friendly and welcoming! Mr. Beecher is a cool dude! He has a great bedside manner but also has a great sense of humor! Very knowledgable and can see how much he is wanting to help you and get better. Even though my insurance didn't cover it, the out of pocket cost for the initial visit is less than $90 and the follow up visits are less. Very affordable for absolutely amazing care! How my appointment went- I'm now in way more pain than I went in there with, including a migraine which I haven't had one in months. Went there for the sole reason to decompress my back to elevate my sciatica pain. I have numbness, and a shooting electric, fire ant sensation from my back down my leg. Which they did put me in the position to adjust that area. Did there little jump on the hip and push on the shoulder area, but nothing actually got adjusted. So now I'm still have my pain, the whole reason why I went, I now have an intense migraine that I didn't have before. And I'm honestly regretting going to that location. I should have just waited until Monday, and drove to Galveston to see my chiropractor Chad. I walk out sore from his office but I have relief, and I can feel sore but I also feel 100% better than I walk in with.
