Still love this place but really have appreciated the quality of Liz's work more than any other who does hard gel recently. She is insanely good with detail- if you want hard gel or design, she's your girl. And I stand by my past reviews with Jeff being the best at pedicures (get the signature, you won't be sorry). I went in to get my nails done after a co worker suggested this place and asked for a very simple gel manicure. When i left and was able to get a better look at them they were bubbly and streaky and not well done. I'm not one to go back and complain or get them fixed. I usually just take it as a lesson learned. But after only having them done for a day they were pealing already. So I go back in to get them fixed and they are the same. Streaky and bubbly. I went here because they had a good rating but I'm learning that they have that walk ins are not a good idea. Took my daughter in to get her nails done before school started. They did an awful job, my daughter asked for coffin style nails and showed a picture. She ended up with some wide very thick nails that were not flattering at all. She's only 15 so she was too embarrased to complain in their faces but busted into tears when we got to the car. I've been here maybe 5 times and I will say that Dani was absolutely phenomenal. Unfortunately, she hasn't been available when I am so I've experienced mixed results. This last time ... a couple of days ago, I went in for a gel fill. My nails started as gel tips but are now my own nails with a gel overlay. Kelly was my tech and it started out odd. She asked if I wanted them short and I said no thank you please keep the length. She asked if I wanted color and I responded , no thank you, the natural pink. She said something about how she could tell I had shaped my own nails and asked how I wanted the shape. I told her the way they are .. square/oval. I had a thumb nail chip so bad that I had to remove the remaining gel so she covered the nail with gel and filled the rest. She then started filing away making my right hand into short, uneven crazy pointed nails. I asked her to stop and just leave it. She wanted to fix them but I was afraid I wouldn't have any remaining nail left so I told her to please just leave it... it would be fine the way they are. She finished and the bill came to $40.00 . ($48.00 with tip) ... I tipped. I didn't see the full effect until driving home. In retrospect, I shouldn't have. I was shocked but really wanted to get out of there as I was experiencing terrible cramping pains in my ribs and back. She did give me a pillow for this. Thanks Kelly! When i was driving home I noticed the unevenness and the bumps on my nails. It was a truly terrible job. The next day I went back and asked the man at the front desk if the owner was in. He said yes. I asked if I could speak to the owner privately. He left to the back and came back with ..dontcha know.. Kelly, the tech! She was acting as tho I wouldn't realize she was the one who did my nails because she wasn't wearing a mask. (I knew, Kelly) Well, we went into the private little room to the right of the front door and I asked why a $25 gel fill would end up costing me $48? She explained the bullshit add ons and offered me $5.00 off of my next fill. Nope. Not coming back. Sorry Dani, you're awesome! Kelly, please tell your boss that the entire staff sitting in the waiting area for us to come out of that room giggling was highly unprofessional and inappropriate. Not only will I not be back but my friends will not be back nor my clients who I take for regular mani/pedi's. I went there In Good faith to speak privately ...not to make a scene or to call attention to your bullshit super sleazy up-sell practice. I'm upset but I bounce back. Just a warning...I like this salon for good manicures and good service. They usually do a good job. After my last manicure, I signed my VISA for $40 and left a cash tip. When I got home, $45 showed on my card. I called back and spoke to a man who said he was the owner. He asked me to wait a minute and then put the woman who did my manicure on the phone. I pointed out to her that I signed for $40 and she said I signed for $45. Unfortunately, I misplaced my receipt. A friend of mine called and asked how much the service I got cost and she was told $40. I will try them again but I suggest you be VERY CAREFUL about keeping your receipt and make sure it matches what you have signed for. read more

This salon is clean!! That is very important to me and I found it to be well cared for and kept at a high level of CLEAN!!! I received a premium pedicure from Stephanie and found it to be relaxing! She did a great massage and paid attention to detail on my little toesies... She did mention that Fridays and Saturdays, they are booked with people and that the best times to come is during the week! I had high expectations of this place because of the great reviews. I was the only one getting a pedicure and then there were 5 more people in the next 10 minutes. There was not enough staff to handle the influx, so they called more employees in. Meanwhile, the lady at the front desk proceeds to tell everyone that the owner is upset with some of the employees for leaving when they were not busy. I was sort of forgotten about at first because they were busy which is expected on a Friday afternoon. The service was very nice and worth the price. I got a regular mani pedi and I have to say I am not impressed with my manicure! Two days after I got it, I had these weird bubbles start to form and they started to chip at the bottom. I've included a picture of what they look like now (4 days later.) I had to paint my middle finger because it was so bad. This is just disappointing because I rarely treat myself and this weekend was graduation so I felt like I deserved pampering!
