Easy quick quality breakfast cafe. I had the egg platter with toast and jamon. My husband had the fruit bowl which also had yogurt and seeds. The berries were farm fresh. A couple months ago, a girlfriend of mine had recommended La Resistencia to me so I filed it away under my long list of "cafes to try" and then totally forgot about it - that is until last week when I came here with a friend. We came for breakfast and had an overall great experience with friendly service and good food! La Resistencia offers a little bit of everything, but by far my favorite is their breakfast menu. They have a kickass egg menu that is served with hollandaise sauce *mouth watering-ly good* and toast. You can choose between vegetarian options like the fried onions and tomatoes (English breakfast style) or spinach and cheese to the meat eater bacon, ham or even meatballs! The best part is that their eggs are free-range and hormone-free! Besides their great egg breakfast, they have a good selection of teas as well as quality coffee - a perfect pairing to your breakfast. Although I haven't tried it, I saw they have what look to be delicious hamburgers and sandwiches plus a unique daily soup option. The sandwiches and hamburgers that were being served around us looked very tasty so I will definitely be coming back to take my partner here and confirm if the looks stack up to the taste. Very tasty. Service was good and so were the deserts. We had bacon and eggs and a pan dish with cheese and ham.

We were looking for a breakfast/brunch location with American breakfast options (read: eggs, bacon, toast, etc.) and this place hit the bid. It's also located adjacent to a cool market with lots of souvenir options. Great venue; great fare; great morning. read more
