My wife ordered a combination but they accidently sent some kind of taco meat that was really delicious also. It might have been deshebrada or something like that. They refunded the charge for the combination plate so we ended up with some free taco meat. I really wanted to try those enchiladas so I'll just have to order them again next time and hope we get it. The food is a little expensive, the portion sizes are inconsistent, and the service is disorganized. The first couple of times I was here I got the carne asada quesadilla and a side of fries. The quesadillas are usually swimming in grease but the first time it was so big it barely fit in the to-go container, and then every time after that it was a different size but mostly on the smaller side. The fries are usually super crispy and I liked the flavor because they sort of tasted like deep fried tempura. The last time I got the fries the portion was significantly smaller compared to my previous visits and they were really soggy, and this was supposedly made fresh. I was also charged a different amount each time because there isn't a standardized point of sale system - the staff are entering in the prices for each item manually every time and they're looking at the tiny print on the menu board while doing so. That's how mistakes happen. The average price for what I ordered was $20 including tax. There's also a bit of a language barrier with the staff so you have to be really careful when ordering. I've seen people receive the wrong food because the staff wrote down the right item but the wrong filling, and vis versa. The burritos are really dry and the meat doesn't taste fresh. I don't know what goes on in the kitchen but every time I've ordered a burrito it's ready really fast compared to anything else I've ordered and it's like the meat was prepared earlier and left on the counter to cool off. I've asked for the chile relleno burrito on multiple occasions but they never have it. If they don't have it, why is it on the menu? One time the staff asked what I wanted in my burrito, but only after they started cooking it. I was confused because I ordered the al pastor burrito and I didn't understand what they meant. It should have al pastor, right? Well, they were actually asking if I wanted onions and cilantro in it but they didn't say that. It was just "what do you want in it?" as if I asked for a burrito and didn't say which one. Again, this was very confusing and it was a language issue. I don't know what the food was like or how the restaurant was run when they were over on W Picacho, but I don't expect they'll last very long at this location. Every time I'm here the place is practically empty, including Saturday mornings during the Farmer's Market. I'm not picky when it comes to atmosphere, but there is no personality in this place. The basic black and gold color scheme makes the place look like they just cleaned up after a graduation party.

The staff took the time to go over the menu, and after we ordered and sat down, they brought our food promptly and even checked in on us -- a really nice touch. We tried the Sonora and Vaquero Chile dogs, plus the Asada fries. Everything was absolutely delicious and super filling. I've never been a big fan of hot dogs, but this spot truly won me over -- they're doing something special here. It's a food truck, so there's plenty of seating and even some small vendor booths to browse while you wait. Street parking is available, and just note that entry is through the back... not the main road. If you're on the fence about hot dogs, give this place a try -- you'll be glad you did.
