Good, but would be better with more beans and less cheese. The Rosita Special is sort of one-skillet fry up of any fajita meat (chicken, beef, mixed, or shrimp), over cheesy rice. Stir it all up and enjoy like a Mexican Hamburger Helper! Interesting versions of Mexican dishes, with olenty of parking in front, located right on Hwy 65 in Clinton. La Rosita is really good. It's a regular stop for lunch and dinner when I'm in and around Clinton Arkansas. We've had fajitas , the combination plates with tacos and enchiladas - etc.. for lunch and dinner and it's all good. Very friendly people serving too. Great service. There aren't a lot of really good places to stop and eat in this area and I think this is a hidden gem. read more

Service was ok.cannot eat queso.- I get violently sick. Asked for regular cheese. Got two rellenos in a pool of refried beans . I mean the whole dinner plate. No real cheese in sight. Queso is made with shelf stable cheese (velveta), yuck! Won't be back. read more

We came into Clinton on a road trip from OK. Exactly what we expected when we came in. Prompt service. Worth the trip.

We ordered the queso and the guacamole dip, both were great. We had the Rosita special for the entree (make sure you order with fajita veggies) and tried both the chicken and the steak. This review is for the food. I'm going to go ahead and apologize for coming in with a party of 10 thirty minutes before closing. We traveled from Houston and stopped to stay at Clinton for the night. We definitely didn't mean to come in really late. There's just not much food options around here. With that being said, service was okay. We were rushed from seating, to ordering, and eating. It was late, we get it, we expected it. My family was starving so we ate really fast anyway. Carne Asada and taco salad were good. I ordered a steak quesadilla and it lacked seasoning but nothing salt couldn't fix. Two of my family members ordered the Rosita's shrimp special and both said it wasn't very good. Yelp has wrong address. GPS is correct. Don't expect good Tex-Mex in Arkansas. The chips were good and hot and I requested that the salsa be heated. We enjoyed them. Don't order fajitas expecting a hot, Sizzlin platter... not going to happen. My husband didn't like the chimichanga either. If you're not from Texas, and you don't know what great Tex-Mex is supposed to taste like and look like, you could eat it. Rice and beans cold. We only moved here to Clinton recently. We have our favorite Mexican restaurants, and were somewhat concerned that we would miss having a good place. This is one case where I am glad to be wrong. Our family frequents this delightful restaurant with regularity. The food is pretty standard fare, but the service has always been excellent. The staff is friendly and food is prepared quickly, which we find very appealing for our restless children. They have a few very large tables which accommodate large parties well. We enjoy the fresh salsa, and the tacos de carne asada is probably the best I've had. Prices are good, and the all-you-can eat lunch special is an excellent deal. Staying in Clinton for the 4th. The outside can kinda throw you a bit, inside is very bright...rwminds of Casa Bonita in Denver. Stayed pretty busy while we ate. The service is outstanding. The salsa is also very good and fresh. Chips are subjective....I prefer a light crisp chip but the fam digs the crunchy heavu chips! The beef in the Chimichanga was very tender. This is the best Mexican Restaurant in Clinton, Arkansas. The food is great. The staff is courtious, energetic, and efficient. It would be nice if you could get a Margarita with your meal, but I like that it's not real noisy , and that would definitely change with a bar. Also, the prices are good, not overly pricey, can stay on the budget. This restaurant has typical Mexican American food but its good quality stuff. I had the carnitas, mom had the beef fajitas. The service is what i liked best. I used to visit another restaurant and the manager here worked there. He came over to ask us how our dinner was and recognized me from seven years ago. Of course i thought i was sneaking out for a bite after having worked in my yard alll day. Ramon (mgr) was too nice to say anything about my dirty fingernails and smell of sweat. Ha! The food is GREAT! The service is not good! I am not going back due to the rudeness of the staff! They got my food wrong many times (as I kept going back) the last time I visited 4 nights ago the waitress actually got mad at ME for them messing up my order then tried to charge me a extra $5 on my ticket! They didn't try to make it right & charged me more. I got the burrito California - Meat & Cheese only with rice on the side - I get this the same way every time I go & every time they get it wrong.
