When the ribeye finally arrived, it was one of the toughest cuts I've ever been served--full of tendons and gristle, and certainly not worth the $40+ price tag. Honestly, I could have picked up a pack of two better ribeyes at Walmart for the price I paid for the one I didn't even eat tonight. When I mentioned my disappointment with the steak, she seemed unfazed. The only redeeming parts of the evening were the view, a cup of soup, and the vanilla crème brûlée. I made an effort to express my disappointment before leaving with zero effort on her part to engage in a solution. So I tried calling on the way home to speak with someone--no answer.
