Un restaurante increíble y el ambiente es romántico!! Amazing little hole in the wall spot in old town Mazatlan, a must stop for all. Not just vegans, but if you are vegan you will so appreciate this place.

Oh my goodness! This was the best place in town, by far. The service and friendliness La Ruta Vegana displays is purely unmatched. Pamela went out of her way to accommodate and help my English speaking wife and I during our trip in Mazatlan. We had it for dinner, lunch and dinner again in our brief stay. The ambience and decor were thoughtfully selected and so delightful. You will not be disappointed by choosing La Ruta Vegana!

My husband really loved it for the food and ambience. The menu is totally outstanding. I would highly recommend this restaurant for vegans as well as vegetarians. Ambience is very romantic and apparently they also accommodate exclusive romantic date lunch/ dinner in case you plan to surprise your someone special to a candle lit dinner or something. But not being a fan of vegan food myself, here is my constructive review. We tried four different dishes (taco/ burger/ fajita/ baked potato) each one had soya in it. So even though each dish tasted great the base and the underlying flavor was the same. Maybe, they can introduce more dishes which do not contain soya and still taste equally good. But for now, this is the only go to place for vegans and vegetarians when you are in Mazatlan.

Support this great place! A/c, funky atmosphere, great music. Loved the ceviche. We also ordered nuggets (good, not crispy) and salad (delicious!) tacos (yum!) deshebrada (good, very meaty) vegandog (ok, too much bun to dog ratio)_and brownie with nuez ice cream (brownie OK, but I'm a brownie snob, ice cream was tasty). It's not a far walk from the plazuela. We originally tried to go to delirium taco and I'm so glad they were closed. Not every vegan place is amazing but this place is a winner. Friendly, nice staff, they were kind to our kids. I didn't expect to find vegan food in Mexico, nice surprise

Absolutely delicious! I went with my Sister and Niece who is vegan. So far my favorite meal while visiting Mazatlan. In addition to my meal of spectacular tacos, I ordered pico de gallo and chips which are not on the menu. The owner graciously agreed to make it for me and it was awesome. Love the atmosphere and customer service.

I started with Robert's Margarita, a delicious and colorful take on the drink. One of the house specialties is the Chicken Marsala, which I accompanied with pureed potatoes and grilled vegetables. Naan is also good. Simply fantastic flavors in everything. The dessert was phenomenal. A dark chocolate brownie with a caramel sauce and topped with hazelnut ice cream. Again, the combination of textures and flavors will guarantee a clean plate. Agatha's reminds me of some of the better places in Palm Springs, CA. Their cuisine truly sets them apart from restaurants anywhere.

Also the warm beet (betabel) salad with goat cheese and pistachios - fabulous! I don't remember it being warm before, but it was great. The only disappointment was the Camarones Crunchy, which was small chewy shrimp, not crunchy at all, on top of a creamy base. We told the server we had been brought the wrong dish, as the shrimp weren't crunchy. She said, no, that's the dish. A manager came over and said that yes, that was the crunchy shrimp dish. Unbelievable. They did finally take the dish off the bill, but we were disappointed that we didn't get a good shrimp dish. The Robert's Margarita was excellent as usual.
