A perfect combo. The IPA especially went well with the tacos.

"When it's done properly, taco should be a verb." - Jonathan Gold And it's done properly at this LST Truck #3! As part of East Brothers Brewery outdoor dining experience, I highly recommend the birria tacos here with consommé. Crunchy then El Garage and $2.00 cheaper with dipping treat, they rank right up there with the other Richmond Bay Area trend setter. Plus the East Bros beer is a great match. Highly recommend!! A great weekend stop :-)

I will preface my review with the disclosure that I typically prefer a good carne asada (all carne asada isn't equal so emphasis on GOOD) over birria BUT there's room in our lives for both! This has been on my list to try for a while so since I was passing Richmond I decided to stop by. They were parked outside of the Richmond Costco on Central Ave and this spot seemed both good and bad. The good aspect of this location is that Costco is busy, especially on weekends. That means guaranteed visibility in the area & probably more customers. The bad aspect is that parking is beyond horrible and it's a little hard to social distance without standing in the bark / bushes. That aside, it's easy to spot and it's not far from the freeway. The tacos are made fresh to order and the wait was only about 10 minutes so no complaints. The tacos on their own are filled with cheesey meaty goodness, they don't skimp. They're a tad expensive, $14 after tax for three of them, but that's the range I usually see for these type of tacos so I knew what to expect. Their menu is online so you can browse it beforehand and go there with an idea of how much you should be prepared to spend. On their own they're actually a little bland but that's usually my opinion on birria tacos and why I prefer a good carne asada. The consommé is usually what makes or breaks a birria taco and I opted not to get any. What I will give kudos to is the spicy green salsa it comes with. I used almost all of it (it came with one on the plate and one in the bag) and it gave the tacos flavor and spice. I give it three stars because it's a pretty average taco and i think this is an average rating. No complaints on the service and employees were wearing masks in accordance with COVID guidelines. Overall, I'd eat here again but when in Richmond it probably won't be my first choice. I'm probably more inclined to go to the Oakland location. They seem to have a large social media following so I'm sure people will go to them wherever they decide to park.

Expensive birria tacos @ $12 x 3 Well la Santa def hit the greasy taco craving I had at around 7 pm on a Saturday . They may be in Oakland or SF but they're for sure at Bro. Beer company in point Richmond every afternoon/evening from 4-8pm. Brothers beer company has been around for 3 years in the most random off the grid location in Richmond beer the port and new developments. Nothing is will lit so try not to speed down the street or you'll miss it . La Santa offers only 3-4 things ...: 1. Birria tacos - greasy heaven. 2. Birria Torta - this thing is huge 3. Birria noodles - in a Large a$$ bowl enough for two to share 4. Elote 5. Churros You can grab a drink inside at the beer garden ! Only beer and soft drinks served (recommend the saison ) Love the birria tacos - three is perfect for me especially with the added cheese. Love the salsa verde which has an awesome kick to it. Also like how the food is ready in 4-5 minutes.

    Just wait for the video...

If I'm nearby a La Santa truck, I will stop for tacos! With business in Marin, I made a plan to stop by on the return trip for carry out. Chef Leo was away working a special event, however the lovely Aurora served me up my to go order of Red Tacos and Consommé. She packed everything nice and neatly. I was planning to have them for dinner. Leo told me the best was to reheat the tacos. Fire them in a skillet over medium heat until the desired crispness! Never microwave. So that's my plan!

Trying to find the place feels like a scene out of a scary movie. You drive into a dark parking in the cuts of Point Richmond in an industrial warehouse area. Then you walk down a somewhat lit alley to find a brewery and taco truck. You'll know you're there because the taco truck is unmistakable. I and everyone in my group had the birria tacos. Real JUICY and $12 for 3 tacos. The tacos were good but nothing amazing. I dont want to say overpriced but I think you can get a better deal/taste at a lot of other trucks. Good for a first try, but I don't think they're worth going out of the way for.

I always frequent the 333 Broadway location and La Santa has always been good so I was excited to catch them in Richmond at East Brother Beer! The truck is parked outside of East brother beer which is in the back side of the warehouse they are in, towards the left! I'm sure a lot of people were confused as I was pulling into the location. What I ordered: -Red Birria Tacos: Tacos are amazing... meaty cheese, green salsa, soft Birria and dipped in the consommé? Divine! My favorite order! -Birria Torta: This Torta is grilled to perfection. The bread is crispy and keeps it's crispiness when dipped in the consommé. It is also very filling! -Elote Chido: Elote without the cobb! This is topped with hot Cheetos, my favorite. Overall, La Santa has always been fresh, quick, and consistent. I love eating here. Although it's located at East Brother Beer, you can't sit at the beer facility unless you order a beer, just so you know!

$14 for 3 birria tacos. Was excited to try this truck outside of east brother beer company, but was let down. Price is reasonable since its 3 good sized tacos with lots of meat, but it was lacking flavor. The meat was bland and just a bit dry. It was not dripping in oil like other birria tacos I've had. I guess this is the healthier version of it. Food was ready in 5 mins. There is some covered outdoor seating right outside of the brewery. Plenty of parking at this industrial parking lot. There are better places to get birria tacos (and beer, sorry east brother is a pretty mediocre brewery)

You can't see the La Santa but we're hella cute and full of the dankest tacos

Ok, so, i have a few grey hairs to say the least, and I share that because of eaten a few tacos to say the most. The La Santa Torta Red Tacos are hands down one of the best mouth experiences of my life (tacos included). They were meaty, cheese, grilly and friend pockets of magic sprinkled with cosamé. Ok, not sprinkled we bathed the tacos in this exhilarating beef broth. I know my review sounds a bit sporadic, and, my soul is still wiggling from this mouth gasm of an experience. Thank you Leo and friends for making the East Brothers beer and company peeerffffeeeecccttt. We'll see you soon.

Man what a disappointment. $17 for 3 tacos and they were drenched, soggy and lacking flavor.

On Friday we decided to give it a try. Honestly we both were hoping to order the Chicken Fried Rice but unfortunately they were completely sold out. So we opted for the Cajun Chicken tenders and fries as well as the Mango Habanero chicken wings and fries. It took about 25 minutes for our order to be completed. We were extremely pressed for time so we literally grabbed our food and left. In hindsight the time was extremely reasonable as that's how long it takes for your food to be prepared. In other words our food was made to order and not previously prepared. Let me just say the Mango Habanero wings were delicious! They were generously sauced with the right about of crispness. I found them to be flavorful and abundant. My order came with about 10 wings, fries and sauce. The sauces did not come with a lid, I was t too thrilled about that. As for the tenders, they were large, well seasoned with a dry rub, crispy and juicy. It's two days later and I am STILL thinking about my food which is a great sign. If you're in a rush, it will take a while for your food to be prepared and because the food is excellent know you will have to stand in quite a line. I would highly recommend if you enjoy chicken as there are several options to choose from. I most definitely will be returning!
