I happened upon this place when me and my significant other visited The Plug Tattoo. We've seen the Loaded Chickn food truck before, usually coupled with long lines of people waiting to place an order, I naturally assumed the food must be worth the wait. On Friday we decided to give it a try. Honestly we both were hoping to order the Chicken Fried Rice but unfortunately they were completely sold out. So we opted for the Cajun Chicken tenders and fries as well as the Mango Habanero chicken wings and fries. It took about 25 minutes for our order to be completed. We were extremely pressed for time so we literally grabbed our food and left. In hindsight the time was extremely reasonable as that's how long it takes for your food to be prepared. In other words our food was made to order and not previously prepared. Let me just say the Mango Habanero wings were delicious! They were generously sauced with the right about of crispness. I found them to be flavorful and abundant. My order came with about 10 wings, fries and sauce. The sauces did not come with a lid, I was t too thrilled about that. As for the tenders, they were large, well seasoned with a dry rub, crispy and juicy. It's two days later and I am STILL thinking about my food which is a great sign. If you're in a rush, it will take a while for your food to be prepared and because the food is excellent know you will have to stand in quite a line. I would highly recommend if you enjoy chicken as there are several options to choose from. I most definitely will be returning! read more

I love trying out food from food trucks, and a few times when Hercules has local events, Loaded Chickn is there. Twice now we have gotten the loaded fries which comes with cut up chicken tenders, sliced pickles, coleslaw/ lettuce type garnish, and cheese all over French fries. We always share the loaded fries among 3 people, and I think it is a good amount for $10. Since we've only come across this food truck at events, lines are long and the wait time is long, but it's expected when everyone in Hercules shows up and there are only 2-3 staff members. I was so happy to see a new food truck parked outside Costco's parking lot. After an afternoon of running my pups at nearby Pt. Isabel, this place was a welcome sight. We ordered the Double Combo which consisted of two juicy chicken sandwiches and an order of fries for only $15. The sandwiches were topped with some amazing sauce, cheese, slaw, fresh onions, etc... It is a messy sandwich, but it sure makes me want to come back for more! Already making plans as to when my next trip will be. My pups will love the frequent trips to Pt. Isabel. It's a little food truck with a limited menu but I kinda like that..waited bout 10 minutes for the food so that was cool. I got the loaded fries...it's fries topped with chicken and cilantro slaw pickles and cheese sauce. So the portion of the chicken is on point and big pieces thru out every bite had a big piece. I've been hearing a lot of good things about Loaded Chickn from all the locals here in Richmond. I always miss them because of my work schedule but today was the day I finally got to try it! The food was great, I had the single combo which is a fried chicken sandwich with dressing, cheese & I believe parsley. Nicely seasoned fries & it was a good portion. It has its own unique taste & it wasn't overbearingly spicy like other sandwiches. Don't get me wrong, I love spicy food but this is good just the way it is. I recommend Loaded Chickn to folks who want to try something unique, new & local. I will be going back to try other menu items. I was real excited about finally getting a chance to try what I heard was super good. As soon as I opened the tray I took a picture and then noticed a small white hair on my fries. I guess one of the workers has a pet. I removed the animal hair and ate my food since I already paid and left. The food was ok but the animal hair made me not want to ever try them again. I've been coming to loaded chickn for some time now, I'd like to call myself a loyal customer. Unfortunately, I'm leaving this 1 star review because I've gotten harrassed by the cashier ( big guy with beard) he insisted on getting my number & made flirty comments about my image after I tried to disregard him asking for my number. It got too far when this same guy asked my little cousin who's only 16 for her number & made comments about her too. She felt harassed and didn't know how to respond since she's only 16. I recommend you guys get a new cashier person because we aren't the only people who've been harassed by the cashier. I love the food but sadly I won't be revisiting loaded chickn. read more

When I went to get Costco Gas, I had spotted Loaded Chicken. When I returned two weeks later to shop at Costco, I was determined to try Loaded Chicken. I really enjoyed my order! I ordered the combo.
