Its a small little bar/pizza/pasta restaurant right outside of the fortress where the leaning tower of pisa is. I came in and was seated in the back patio. There is no air conditioning so its hot during the summer.
I ordered a pasta with clams and it came within 3-4 minutes of ordering. The pasta was delicious. There was light sauce of oil and tomatoes with 10 small clams. The pasta was very chewy and thick just how i liked it. Clams had a great fresh taste as well.
Overall, the food itself was amazing at 9 euros. The reasons why it did not deserve a 5 star is because its a tourist trap albeit a small one. The city does not have a service charge but this place, because its located in a tourist area, charges 2 euros per person as a service charge. Also, the heat is unbearable since there is no air conditioning. Other than these issues, its a good restuarant located near the historical sites. read more
