This place is in the cut on 15th street. There are meters outside of the building, so parking is good. I brought my parent here a few months ago and we met Ruben. The workers stand at the door and greet you but I guess it depends on who you make eye contact with to help you. Ruben approached us, very polite, friendly ans ready to help. My parent is disabled and would ask multiple questions with slow mobility but Ruben was patient, courteous and always explained each answer carefully for understanding. I would recommend you ask for Ruben when you visit. Side note: they do have a special for three suits at $180 but they are a particular size and material, it is not alot of room for variations with the suits on sale. In general, they have a variety of suits but only black or white dress shirts. read more

I got the suit I wanted, in the correct color I wanted. They have a lot of "cheap looking" stuff there but suits are what you are gonna find are good quality. They even did tailoring, but its not perfect. Im afraid Adolfo was overwhelmed because when i went to pick up my suit, my pants that were supposed to be tapered were billowy and still fell off my waist. We came back after 30 minutes and they were better but still a little baggy for my taste. They were still loose at the top so i had to wait another 20 minutes for them to smartly bring them in a quarter of an inch. We left happy with the results but I wont be coming here for a custom suit again, the customer service isnt great when you walk in and like i said, they got a lot of cheap looking stuff there. read more

I've been coming here for years. Over 20 to be exact. And every time I'm here Harvey takes care of me to the fullest. You tell him what we're looking for and want and he's on point. Then the tailor (forgot his name) knows what's up. Harvey and his team get you in and out. Tailoring is the only set back but to be on point we have to wait. The location is easily located and it is spacious, so many suit selections, and the business is clean.. Not knowing what to expect, we were immediately greeted by Israel. That was a good impression. We told him what we were looking for and he was on it. His service was extremely helpful from start to finish. We were out in little time. Israel knew his job well and very knowledgeable which made our experience pleasant and fast. I asked alot of questions and he was professional and polite. The prices were reasonable and I would recommend anyone looking for a suit to shop there. Also, they do alterations there so that was a plus. Easy and convenient I would say! If you are looking for a place that makes suit shopping super easy, effortless and very affordable, The LA Suit Outlet is the spot to go. Their inventory is huge. I'm talking wall‑to‑wall options in every color, cut, material and style you could want, and won't hurt the wallet, especially, if you buy more than one suit. But what really made the experience exceptional was Israel. His customer service. Came here for a few suits for my new job. Harvey is excellent! Greeted me immediately and was able to help find some suits that matched what I wanted and almost to my size perfectly. I am still wearing these suits 3 months later and I love their fit, feel, and think the value is great for the price. I went on a Sunday morning. The salesman Jesus helped me find a really nice suit for a wedding i I'm going to attend later this month. The coat was a perfect fit but the slacks needed to be hemmed. So, he called his guy. In less than half an hour the slacks were ready. I was on my way to lunch by noon. I couldn't be any happier!!! read more

I was dreading parking and I think what made the difference was that we went on a Tuesday, 11 am, plenty of parking. Gentleman that greeted us has been in this business for years, he was courteous, ran down the options and the deals, low, mid and high priced based on fabric. My partner appreciated that about him, he's an in-n-out type of shopper very lil patience. He eyeballed my partners size had him try on the jacket and that was it, he went into a dressing room to fit the pants... done deal. I wished he could have shown us a lil more, I love options, colors, fabrics, finishes and all and it worked out though. We certainly didn't feel pressured to purchase and alterations are offered there on the spot, quick and easy, love that! The first he tried that's what we got, a simple two button navy blue jacket suit, rayon blend 3 PCs $169 + $10 alterations on the pants, boom, that's the quickest occasion shopping I've ever experienced. read more

I came in the store looking for a very particular suit and I was unsure if they would have what I needed but Harvey was super helpful. I had picked out a suit at first and went to George in the back of the store to get the suit tailored . We got everything measured up and as I was leaving I actually spotted a different suit that I wanted instead, they both were still very helpful in letting me measure for the new suit . Very nice experience. Israel was pleasant, efficient, and didn't pressure us. He knows his stuff! 2 grandpas and a grandson to purchase 3 suits. Only 3 colors for the lowest price suits. But they are good ones... Navy, Black, & Grey. There are other options and styles at great prices as well. Alterations are reasonable and done on the premises. You will need to have the pants hemmed ($10) as they are cut to size. We would be happy to come back and have Israel help us out for another suit! read more

Came in looking for a couple starter suits and Israel helped me out right away! Didn't come in with any measurements or anything and have never owned suits that fit me. Israel eyeballed it down to two sizes right away and we were actually able to find sizes off the racks that worked well and didn't need any major adjustments. I did get the pants hemmed and they had them done on site within an hour of me finally deciding which colors I was actually going for haha (ended up taking up 2 hours before just trying on some other suits, which my Fiance vetoed). I needed a suit for my cousin's wedding and my gf had heard great things about the L.A. Suit Outlet so we headed there early on a Saturday morning to catch them at opening. Israel met us at the door and immediately helped me find what I needed, offering various options but we immediately fell in love with this blue suit. He also helped find a tie and pocket square that matched perfectly with my gf's dress. They also hemmed my pants and got it done in under 10 mins. 3pc suit, shirt, tie and pocket square totaled at about $220 dollars which was an awesome price and less than I was expecting to spend. Called for a 1920s Great Gatsby theme suit three piece if possible. He said he didn't know what that was or what style that was. How are you in this business if you don't know what a 1920s suit looks like? I asked to speak to someone who knew what that theme was and he got back on the phone laughed hard for almost 30 seconds then said "no we don't have it." I really think the jokes on you because your staff is unknowledgeable, unprofessional, and needs further training on how to talk to a customer. read more

Empty shelves dusty and empty. The store looked unkept, racks were messy, and the overall shopping environment felt neglected compared to other locations. What made the experience worse was how uncomfortable we were made to feel almost immediately after entering the store. Within about two minutes of stepping inside, we were being followed by asset management . It was obvious and unnecessary, especially since we had just arrived and were simply looking for a few specific items we were there to purchase. Unfortunately, this wasn't the first time I've experienced something like this at Nordstrom. The same thing happened to me at the Westfield Culver City (Fox Hills) location after years of shopping there without any issue. As someone who has regularly spent $400 or more every visit at Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack, it's extremely disappointing to feel singled out and followed around the store while shopping. I just had to leave. During this visit, I also noticed other shoppers in the store (not being followed), I guess other race of people do not steal, just mines. We must be followed! I don't have to shop there. Despite what appeared to be suspicious behavior elsewhere, the focus remained on following us instead of paying attention to actual store issues or potential theft. Nordstrom employees should focus on maintaining their stores and treating all customers equally rather than making loyal customers feel targeted. We recently moved to a luxury apartment near by, but because of these experiences, I will no longer be shopping at Nordstrom or Nordstrom Rack.

One catch being that the Grove parking lot cannot be validated by the Farmers Market stores and vice versa. Once you are on premises you can use the trolly to move from one end of the venue to the other. Also keep in mind that the Original Farmers Market is literally next door and attached to the Grove, which dramatically increases your food options.

The place was packed on a Sunday, since it's an outdoor area, it was really hot and staying in the stores helped cool us off, especially if they had AC on full blast. Going back to the parking lot was a challenge, since there isn't a parking attendant around, there isn't service you can get help right away. Parking price is expensive if you stay more than 2 hours, I suggest coming for the 2 hours and validate it at a store or if you end up staying longer and reaching full price (max daily), might as well spend the feast of the day there since they already have everything you need for lunch and dinner. FYI, driving out of the 4th floor took some time so if you're in a rush, so is everyone else and some cars go so fast you might not see them in time around sharp turns and yield signs!

We were there, bright and early and got best quality flowers. It was day or two, before they would be used. They must be preserved, freshly and kept them inside my bathroom, in dark, cold room & cranked up AC. All of it was placed in bathtub for hydration.

Why am I paying $2 to shop and spend more money? I'm sorry just on the way there as we got closer, there are so many flower shops around the mart so I don't see why you wouldn't just go to one of those and get your flowers without having to pay an additional fee. So now, we are already $14 out-of-pocket and we havent done anything but try to park and step inside. We get inside we look around and I honestly did not find the prices to be that different from a farmers market perhaps a slightly bigger bouquet, or a couple of dollars cheaper, but there was nothing that was like ooh, this is a great deal. We ended up buying a large bouquet of lilies for $25. There is a stall in the back that had what I would consider actually good price prices. Five stems for $10 and a big bushel of another kind of flower for $6. We got those as well. My partner also really liked the plant guy and bought a plant from him from $20. Now here is where I really will not be back. I stopped at a stall called Choice America. I saw a really pretty set of mum's and asked how much they were & was told $10. The guy helping me then confirmed that they were $10 with somebody else. He then went on to say that one with eight stems was a higher price that I don't remember because I knew I wasn't getting that.When I got to the counter to actually pay, the woman was going back-and-forth with another customer about some order. They both seemed equally frustrated. Why is this important?.. because when it was my time to pay she said $10. I handed her a $20 bill. She opens the register and pulls out a five and some ones throws up her hands. I deduced that already being frustrated this is just one more thing on top as she doesnt have enough change to give me and instead turns to me and says $12.50. I kind of stumble and I say for what... tax or something? and she goes yeah tax clearly lying! Even if they did charge tax, which no other stall did, sales tax in Los Angeles on $10 it's not $12.50. The unfortunate problem is that I am black and I am not afforded the luxury to say something back because then I'm seeing as an angry black woman, have the police called on me not being believed etc. etc. so I just have to bite the bullet and get scammed and ripped off of my money. My partner and I both agree that it was not worth the hassle to go, but he really wants to take me to the restaurant across the street so we would go back to the plant guy and we would go back to the stall in the back but even those are BIG IFS as neither of us has any desire to ever go back to the Flower Mart. I feel like overall. The whole place is a money grab, you should save your money and go to your local farmers market or visit one of the many other vendors that were around the area without having to pay an admission fee to even buy flowers. Or better yet be bold like the elderly lady who accosted us as we were leaving and asked "are you all done in there can I have your sticker?" I was already too flustered to even recognize what she was asking till after my partner happily handed his over.

Went there today. I was served by Harvey (6 stars ! !). As soon as I told him what I needed for my job and the budget I had, he took him half an hour to get me the suits, shirts, etc. I needed to get me dressed from head to toe without wasting any of my time. He did not push me at all into buying more than the clothes I needed or push me into buying more expensive suits than the budget I had and just gave me what I needed. I walked out within my budget and exactly with what I was looking for, including my pants altered to perfection (thanks a lot tailor ! ! ). Will definitively refer L.A. Suit Outlet to other peers for sure. It was well worth the trip from Santa Clarita. read more

I went to oscars store and was very dissapointed. It is extremely small and has a really small selection to choose from. I am a 40 regular, which is a common size and he had 5 suits to choose from. I like Oscar but in my opinion his store was a waist of my time. I ended up going back to L.A. suit outlet and purchasing their 3 suits for $100. Also bought shirts and ties to match. My practice is to go to the worst reviews first, because that tells you the truth. Of course I ignore "spite reviews" and stuff like "they were closed when I got there and it was a Saturday" But the true reviews with bad experiences tells me to stay away. But this place, Mr Suit, had 5.0 and NO BAD REVIEWS! So I went here first. The store looks small, but it's got either a secret basement or a secret attic where I could hear the sales guy on stairs going to pull other sizes for me. Okay, the nitty gritty: Gus (short for Gustavo) helped me out. With my wife's approval and Gustavo's guidance, I came away with two awesome suits. And he made me a deal! A shirt and tie included. The only tailoring I needed was to hem the pants, and he had his tailor Henrry from Hernández Tailor Shop from around the corner walk over and measure me. He took away the full suits, and 20 minutes later we walked over and grabbed the complete package. $20 for hemming the trousers, $10 each. Gus was cool, patient, and very accommodating. EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE!!!

Anyway, I sent a message to the store the next day, politely explaining why that I appreciated Jerry's time, but the shop wasn't for me. Jerry ended up calling me, and I wish I hadn't answered. He started trying to get me to get his cheaper stuff that had already talked me out of. He was pushy, dismissive of my reasons and all around unpleasant. I think they have some off the-rack suits available, too, and I believe they offer tailoring, but I am no longer interested. He'll probably respond to this and be dismissive again, but those are my two cents. He has a nice assistant. I won't pretend it's bad quality. Still three stars.
