I've been a member of LA tan for some years now and I love this establishment! But I do want to warn others... Please be careful to watch the timer on your sun beds.. I asked SARAH at this location to tan me for a certain amount of time. To my surprise, my bed was still going well past that minute. I stopped the bed and jumped out. When I approached her about it and told her the amount of time I asked for, she said "Well, I put you in for 15 minutes" and offered no apology. She didn't even say it was an accident. She just blatantly told me she put me in for 15. So I strongly urge you to be watchful especially those that like to fall asleep in the bed. I did speak to a manager who was kind and assured me this would be addressed. But for customers, just be careful. Also, this specific location smells like cigarette smoke. It's no surprise the fire alarms went off yesterday too. read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIANCE!!!! I recently went here, because I had a trip plan for Florida. I got the level 4 lay down. it was great everything was fine. NOT!!! About after 1 week I could not stop itching my back and stomach. I started getting Bumbs on my back and stomach. I went to the immediate care, and they told me it was herpes. I am on lots of medication now to hopefully fight it off, but I will never be going to a tanning salon after this (specifically this one)!!! read more

Walked in and was immediately greeted by the girl working behind the desk with a smile. I needed a package for some vitamin D for the winter months, she informed me they really didn't have any good deals right now but then proceeded to tell me all my other options. I did buy a package and she went above and beyond to help me find the perfect bronzer lotion. The waiting room was very clean and neat, they offer spray tans, lay down and stand up tanning beds on levels 1-6. So many different kinds of bronzing lotions, intensifiers, tingle, and accelerators. They do offer daily specials on Monday through Thursday that are very reasonable. Overall, I was very happy with my experience. read more

The little blonde gal does a perfect spray tan. Will go over legs and arms twice . Stayed for the week I was on vacation. Slowly faded no orange. I chose the darkest color I could for a medium fair skinned blonde. Loved it. Recommend her to my clients!! Look great from day1 on vacation ! read more

I normally come to this location and get great service, but unfortunately today was the opposite. It seemed as though there were two very inexperienced girls at the front desk- they failed to even articulate the difference between the spray tan machines. On top of it, I was charged 30$ for a spray tan, when they have a spray tan and regular tan special for 20$ on Thursdays. Even if I initially say I was interested in getting the regular tan as well, you would think they would at least recommend it. Very disappointed in their lack of good customer service and will not be returning. read more

Need to get some color before our wedding... girls are always very welcoming and very knowledgeable about their products and services! Bulbs are new, I think, because it's working well! I have only been twice and have can really see the difference. So relaxing when I go. Plus you can go to any LA Tan, so that's nice if I'm not near the one in Machesney Park. read more

I LOVE this salon. I usually get there around 4:30pm because there isa crowd that files in around 5 pm. About a week after starting to regularly tan here, the girls knew my name and knew what I wanted to do without even having to ask. The beds are always clean and the rooms are tidy. There has always been a clean towel in my room along with current fliers for specials that are coming up. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is only because some times they are a little under staffed, I have gone in (maybe 2 times) when there has been a long line with only one poor girl to clean the beds, check people in and run the entire salon!
