Love it! This place has everything you could possibly want in a tanning salon. My old place was kinda run down, didn't offer other services, and had old beds... not this place! Their beds are new, clean, and serviced constantly. I've been a client here for 6 months and I have never seen a bulb out in one of the beds. The girls are prompt and efficient at the front plus super friendly. I never feel like they are pushy on trying to sell me something either. I've visited both south Elgin and Elgin locations. They have quite a few beds, they have the spray tans too (in the actual spray stand up unit), they have a ton of products to chose from also. Check them out! read more

My experience was fairly good. My frustration comes from emailing the owner twice AND sending a message privately on social media. Only to be left on read and ignored every time. Not sure I will be going back at this point. A big part of having a business is customer service. Thought it may just be an off day, but it has been weeks at this time. read more

The other evening, I was contacted by the General Manager at Eternal Tan. She very politely apologized for the decision that the Owner had made earlier about continuing to charge me for services that I don't use. That my posting of my displeasure became a concern and that they reversed that earlier choice now. So they will be doing the honorable thing and not taking another dime from my account. I respect management for stepping up and doing the right thing. Being a upcoming business, I seriously believe that they learned from this slight disagreement and will treat their clients much better. I hope they do and keep their lights on. Great Airbrush Tanning! I came to Eternal Tan for an airbrush tan very last minute before my honeymoon. I've been airbrushed several times and was thrilled with the results and customer service I received at Eternal Tan. They offer a rapid-dry solution which is amazing especially if you don't have 12-24 hours to let a normal solution set on your skin! Mandie did my tan and made me feel extremely comfortable throughout the entire process. My tan looked super natural and lasted ~5 days before I saw any fading. I will definitely be back! read more

She will NOT push you for the upsale just to get you to spend money on the $100 lotion or package. She is customer oriented and cares about every person who walks into her salon. Eternal Tan has a bed for everyone's skin type (my personal fav: the prestige... Air conditioned!!!). She also has this AMAZING new spray tan that is HEATED and dries you after each spray! And you can get a clear spray (so no more worry about the bronzed getting on clothes for the first 12 hours). The best part.... More natural color than the regular Versa Spa and NO MORE SPRAY TAN SMELL!!! Love it!!! Plus it's the cleanest tanning salon I've ever been to. Living in Pingree Grove my options seemed limited for tanning. Huntley or Elgin. LA tan in Huntley was terrible. Poor Customer service, dirty salon and over priced. Eternal Tan was not only clean, professional and closer but it was not over priced. I've had many tanning memberships before. This is by far the best deal around for the quality you're getting. Awesome beds, vanity area to freshen up from the sweaty tanning feeling and smell and a lot of different options. A nice girl named Kate explained everything about the salon and set me up right away. She wasn't some random teenager who just turns the beds on and texts all day. I'm very happy with this salon, I wish I had signed up sooner. read more

This place is amazing! I do not go tanning nor do I get spray tans frequently. However, I am in a wedding this weekend and needed to get a spray tan. I was terrified of the booth. Images of Ross from friends kept popping in my head! Alyssa and the other employee were beyond supportive and helpful. They went over each position with me about 5 times. Still when it came time for me to get in, I chickened out. I came out of the booth ready to ask for my money back when Alyssa offered to stay and help me make sure I was good throughout the process! I highly recommend the Prestige bed. It is the ,out expensive but well worth the money, I tan half as frequent and I have more color than from any other bed. I have tried their spray tans as well and it always looks so natural and my skin never looks like a carrot. I used to go to LA tan but that place is a garbage dump compared to eternal. I live in the area and had wanted to check the salon out for awhile. My friend highly recommended this salon and finally went in for spray tan. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the salon is very clean and equipment is very modern. I had been using the old spray tan machines where you have to blot yourself off, but loved the new machine with the blowers. You are 90% dry when you come out of the machine plus the tan is very natural looking. It can be a little scary when you first step into the machine, but there are pictures to show you how to stand to get the best spray coverage. Also there is a video in the reception area which shows you how to use the machine. It is very quick and very effective. At first I tried the "sun-kissed" look, but then later tried the more "bronze" look. Some of the spray will come off when you shower, but the effect is still very natural looking. The spray tan lasts about 5-6 days. The spray tanner is great if you do not like to use the tanning beds or have a party to attend and just did not have the time to tan. This machine is awesome. Looks like I just came back from vacation in Mexico. read more
