Years ago I saw one of my longtime friends post the most beautiful pictures of her family on Facebook. After inquiring about them, I was directed to Kim. This was before she opened La Ti Da and just ran her photography business out of her home. She met us for the first time at a park, and I must admit I was a little nervous for our first time family pictures! I was put at ease the second I met her. Kim has such a beautiful personality, and really brings out the best in everyone on and off camera. She spent more than the allotted time with us, and even went off and took one on one pictures with my (then 3 year old) daughter. She made the best impression on us and the pictures turned out absolutely amazing. I have used her for family pics, and individual "yearly" pics of my daughter ever since. These pictures decorate my house, and I get compliments on them all the time. I have never been disappointed with ANY picture or session she has sold me. I have recommended many people to her and they all use her religiously for their pictures. Yelp is definitely the place where you can post your good and bad opinions of places, but I'm positive that the bad review posted here will be the ONLY one you'll find for La Ti Da. Please remember that it's a one woman show, and she really takes time on each of her clients pictures. You're not getting some cheap unedited sears portrait done where they snap it and print it the same day. She takes time to carefully select the BEST pictures out of the hundreds she takes, and edit out imperfections! It is not a quick process to make the picture look better than you thought it possibly could. If you need pics next day, DONT CALL HER. We had a great time, and Kim was very patient in keeping our little one from squirming. He wasn't exactly a newborn (he was older), but she was still gracious enough to work with us. The photos turned out to be fabulous! Loved all of them. Their facebook and website samples are very representative of what you'll get. Kim takes CUTE baby pictures. My only feedback would be to speed up the process on getting photos back to people. From our photoshoot to getting prints, it was a day short of 5 weeks, partially due to slow shipping and me taking a long weekend to pick my photos. But Kim was very sweet about it and apologetic, even bringing the prints right to my doorstep. In the end, worth the wait for lovely pictures that are excellent quality. I first met Kim a few years ago prior to opening her studio. I loved the photos she had taken of her family and had her do Christmas pictures of our family. Since then she's done a few more shoots for me including my newborn's pictures. She was so patient and professional working with a 3 week old which isn't easy. But with every thing going on, I was at ease and knew my son was in great hands. Her studio is clean and well maintained every time I'm there. (There is a restroom that includes a changing table and extra wipes if needed). I love that she also has extra props to go along with any type of theme you want for your family as well as being open to things you want to include from home.
