If you are tired of red meat and want something else, this seems to be the only other choice. The location is set off away from the center of town. It is a bit scary to be walking the few blocks in the dark away from town. We read the review from another couple that the restaurant was rude to them so we put our pants on and dressed up some. Even so, the service leaves much to be desired. When we got our check, the old white haired server with the blue eyes said tip is not included. They really conveyed that we should feel privileged to eat there. We walked in and the host led us to the upper area where there were many tables open. We sat down and realized that we were next to a numbered print of what seems to imitate Marilyn Monroe without a top (picture posted). Classless? People seems be here for the spaghetti dish that is cooked in a wheel of cheese that is melted first with a torch. I ordered tagiatelle with ragu and it was decent. The pasta tastes handmade. Food was a mixed bag. Don't order the appetizer that was a combination of pickles and cheese. The cheese was warmed up and brought to the table then scrapped off the block onto the plate where it quickly became a congealed blob. 70% of Argentinians claim Italian descent so we expected the food to be decent. I always heard Argentinians are arrogant, but we experienced none of that in BA.

This is by far the best Italian I've ever had! I'm surprised this isn't top on the list on Yelp for restaurants to recommend in Iguazu. The pasta is fresh, cooked perfectly, they actually know what they are doing! All the other restaurants on Córdoba are terrible in comparison I wished I found this place the first day I would have eaten here every day! The Provolone with tomatoes, olives, capers - will blow your mind. We ordered 4 mains because I loved it so much. Butter squash ravioli - amazing but the delicious tomato sauce over powered the squash, cinnamon filling the pine nuts are a perfect tough. The Gorgonzola tagliatelle- amazing. Spaghetti made with cognac on a massive block of parm right in front of you was epic! We also had the filet mignon made like a chicken parm also amazing! Service was amazing, atmosphere wonderfully quaint and classy without being pretentious. The previous bad review is false and a complete lie! This place is hard to find resos for it's packed all the time!! My reso was at 9:30pm and my friends who went the night before could only get a 9pm spot. This is the best place more ppl need to review bc the other places recommended around here aren't proper foodies I was thoroughly disappointed with yelps recommendations for this area.

Nestled away in the heart of the Iguazu jungle is this hidden delightful gem! Definitely make reservations, otherwise your not getting the homemade pasta, the cooked perfectly filet mignon, Raclette that will stop you mid-sentence as you contemplate life and tiramisu that's as light as air so I'm absolutely sure those calories don't count (wink, wink) Pair it all with a delicious red blend and your welcome! The bill was right around $60USD for that deliciousness with top notch service! You need to go here!

    Great Bartender!!!

It looks…read morelike they took their time to create a beautiful ambiance and really paid attention to the details. They have a number of large tables that can accommodate large groups. There were a number of families dining in along with smaller tables with couples. They have an extensive wine menu, and the food is mostly Italian with a variety of pizzas, meats, and salads. We were a group of 6 and ordered several pizzas, salad, and pasta along with 2 bottles of wine. I was not very hungry, so I only tried a piece of the filet mignon pizza. The pizza was extremely salty. The main reason was that the pieces of filet mignon were very salty and overly seasoned, in addition to the cheese. It just made it even more salty. Everyone else said their food was very good, so this filet mignon pizza was the exception. The service was friendly and attentive, and the prices were reasonable considering this is a tourist area.

We originally planned to go to Vo Bertila across the street. That restaurant was closed, but we are…read moreso happy we found Vo Luis instead! The food was all delicious, the atmosphere was amazing and so peaceful. The wait staff were all polite and friendly. Prices in general were really good for Foz do Iguaçu, and for Brazil generally. For Italian food of this quality in Brazil, this was a very competitive price. And the menu was very comprehensive, with lots of great options - so many things we wanted to try! There were plenty of vegetarian options and options for lactose-free and gluten-free diets, so something for everyone. We wound up eating at this restaurant twice during our stay in For do Iguaçu. They bring complementary bread to the table right when you sit down, which was delicious and something that isn't too common in Brazil. The first time we tried the calzone de frango. It is supposed to serve four, but it serves two very hungry people just as well, with space for dessert. The desserts are so delicious. The creme brûlée was heavenly. And the apple crumble was just the right balance of sweet and tangy, with perfect homemade ice cream on top. Our second night we ordered three entrees. The pumpkin tortellini (listed on menu as tortellini, but more resembled ravioli in my opinion) was savory and delightful, a mix of flavors that I hadn't seen before. The vegetable gnocchi was pretty good, with species and vegetables that tasted refreshing and not overly intense or rich. Not the best gnocchi I've had in Brazil, but certainly satisfying. The tortellini was a smaller dish, more of a light dinner. The gnocchi was larger, better if you have a bigger appetite. The third entree was a pizza with marguerite on half and frango com catupiry on the other half. The marguerite was lovely, but the frango com catupiry's taste was too strong. We would have preferred a whole pizza marguerite because it was a soft flavor, not too much, perfectly satisfying. The frango was too rich. Overall, we're very happy that we dined at this restaurant twice. If we were in town longer, we definitely would have gone again. If we lived in Foz, this would be a regular place for us to eat. We definitely recommend this restaurant. Whether you are here for a couple of days, or longer, it's worth stopping here for a nice dinner. You won't regret it.

The chef that created the menu has received a Michelin star and had a really unique menu. As skeptical as I was about some of the unique options, they were beyond outstanding. Everyone was super happy with their meals. The meat was perfect and they had delicious vegetarian options beyond just pasta. The service was phenomenal. Our waiter was nice and tried to be helpful by recommending their most popular dishes. We took his advice and ordered the Parmesana for appetizer. It was an eggplant topped with lettuce and a scoop of cheese mixed with honey and mustard. I knew where the chef wanted to go with this but the dish fell short. I had one bite and was done. Mains: The lasagna bolognese was a flower shaped crusty pasta. It's different from the traditional layered lasagna and I appreciated the effort to do something unique and fun. But there was insufficient meat and sauce. It had too much cheese resulting in a dry, bland dish. The pancetta tortellini was not edible. The dish came out cold, and the tomato sauce was sweet (undoubtedly they add scoops of sugar to tomato sauce). The tortellini filling was not pancetta-- it was some sort of mystery meat. The garnish was slices of undercooked bacon. No desert because fool me twice shame on you... I'm not going to ef-up a third time.

Olá y'all! I've…read morelearned that Yelp is not as popular in South America, so I hope to garner some attention for the last and best dinner we had while in Brazil. BT is such a lovely and inviting space, with an open kitchen and modern touches that give it an upscale vibe. It is immediately evident that you're in for an amazing meal. I had been getting by with my average Spanish in other countries during the trip, but Portuguese, while similar, presented a challenge so our server was so sweet and helpful by using a translator. The menu is super inventive and it was really difficult to choose, especially while eyeing the plates and drinks served at other tables. The chefs and mixologists clearly understand that you eat with your eyes first, and take pride in perfecting every last detail. Check out their social media to see what I mean. Our mains of salmon and Cacio e pepe were amazing, and we saved room for the dulce de leche which was recommended, and the cannoli plate which included a pistachio version which was a must. The service was genuinely hospitable and attentive, and I left wishing I had another day to return and try the burrata and the rest of the menu. If you are visiting the falls, please take the 15ish-minute trip to treat yourself to all that Bona Trattoria has to offer. Muito obrigada BT! Bitsy
