Drove right by this place doesn't really seem like a restaurant from outside but don't let it fool you, i live down in south tx & this restaurant comes close to real authentic mexican food, they do social distancing with the tables, server attended me within 5 mins of me sitting down overall the food was great, i would definitely go back. read more

Let me start off by using the age old adage "you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover." Not to say that it looks bad, It's just that the food is so good. My family and I have eaten here several times and ALWAYS enjoy our meal. This time around we picked up a couple of large (32oz) menudos & a barbacoa burrito. The menudo was VERY spicy. I am not saying this because I also think black pepper is spicy, but because by the time I was finished eating my bowl of menudo I had a runny nose and could feel the stinging around my lips. The menudo comes with your choice of flour or corn tortillas, limes, chopped onions & jalapenos, & crushed red pepper. If you are they type of person that likes menudo with a lot of hominy, like my wife, do not order this or at least make the request for extra hominy. I didn't ask but we found out when we got home that the meat to hominy ratio was about 1000/1 (exaggerated). Needless to say, my wife didn't eat much of the menudo. Thankfully the barbacoa burrito was very plump. I requested cilantro & onions added to it which made it taste just right. Their red salsa is probably the only thing I don't care for. The food is always delicious, people are friendly, & the restaurant is clean. read more
