This was an absolute waste of money! Horrible food even worse service! We walked in and there was nobody to greet you. We sat and waited about 15 minutes before being acknowledged. I wish I could say the experience would get better but it did not. Are waitress took our order and return with some of the worst food put in front of me. I order the lunch version of the quote unquote jambo shrimp.... I'm not completely sure If I were received what I ordered... I was hoping that the waitress misunderstood me because there was much more on my plate. Than what should have been normally this would not be a bad thing. This was frozen Butterfly shrimp to make them appear wider. My sweet potato was cold and untoasted. The brown sugar wasn't melted nor were the marshmallows. The fried okra was cold . I wis I could have told her early on but the waitress only returned to bring us our check! She asked if I like a box. And I told her the issue with the meal kid you're not. She asked if I would like her to put it in the microwave! I told her no thank you. And I would take the check when getting up to pay. The food was excellent, and the waitress was very friendly. However, the staff member who took our drink order was quite rude and he made us feel uncomfortable, especially when I asked for a mineral water. My father, who is a Spanish speaker, experienced particularly poor service from him. I've been eating here pretty regularly and I'm not interested in giving them a second chance. We went there for dinner last night to meet a couple of locals. Two people got their small rib-rye, one got grilled shrimp, and I got fried jumbo shrimp. The steaks looked OK, as did the grilled shrimp. My fried shrimp were definitely not jumbos, but the put a lot more on the plate than the eight specified. First the food -- I'll get to the service in a moment. I actually ordered two sirloins -- Both were excellent, well-seasoned and right on the money, medium rare. My steaks were actually as good or better than what I got at the Lowake Steakhouse a couple of weeks back. Now the service. I'm a good tipper, consistently leaving 20 percent if all I get is a kind voice, ask me if I need anything when you drop the food off and maybe check on me once. If I get that much, you'll get your 20%. My waitress at Big Spring's Cowboy Steakhouse asked me nothing. Never stopped by to ask if I needed anything, or ask about the steaks. She pretty much acted as though she couldn't wait for me to leave. She even grabbed my menu and flipped it over to show me where the side orders are (instead of simply telling me). After getting no service, I hung around for about 10 extra minutes to see if she'd make any effort to ask how the meal was or offer dessert. She never did, but she was attentive to every other table close to mine....so I did what I NEVER do: I left no tip. So, what's my recommendation? If all you care about is the quality of the food, I recommend that you give this place a shot (at least for steaks). In my experience they were quite good. But if you want good, friendly, quality service, I can't recommend this place based on what I experienced. They may have a great overall wait staff, but my waitress was God awful. I would have rated it four stars if the service I received matched the food, but it wasn't in the same universe. My apologies to the owner, but you have some fixing to do. I won't be back. read more

But the wait staff....gross! there was a girl working with super long fake fingernails and I saw her twice open up a already plated to-go container and pick food out of it with her bare hands and eat out of it, bagged it up and sent it out the door to a customer. Another girl with black curly hair was sweating like crazy and takes her shirt and wipes her face with it and continue working. If I could leave zero stars I would! Seated at 5:11pm & it's now 5:51 and our waitress hasn't even checked on us since she put our order in. The busser was kind enough to refill our drinks..... the floor is littered with food, napkins, & anything else they can wipe off the tables and onto the floor. One of the servers is wearing open toed slides (basically a sandal) and acts like she'd rather be at home than working. When I asked to come here my husband said he didn't want to because the service is always awful, I told him let's give them a chance..... yep, lesson learned. I've been in the food & beverage industry for over 15 years, it's been a long time since I have encountered a restaurant this bad. The hostess was the ONLY nice part of this experience.... We gave this a chance on the way through town, and an average rating of three stars is too high. My boyfriend had the grilled pork chop with grilled vegetables. The pork chop was hammered and like sawdust from being so overcooked. The grilled vegetables actually looked fine, but had way too much seasoning and salt. I had the stuffed baked potato with sirloin. The sirloin was mostly gristle, so I only ended up with 2 or 3 bites before I threw in the napkin and decided I didn't want any more. The steak was totally unseasoned. The baked potato came with cheese already on it (totally fine) but was accompanied by a container that had to be 3 Oz of more cheese, a 3 Oz container of sour cream, and a 3 Oz container of butter. Super wasteful and enough to cause three heart attacks. When we got ready to pay the check and approached the checkout counter, the lady sitting there on her phone never even looked up, never spoke or acknowledged we were there until she was done with her texting. Then she cashed us out and another waitress came up to the front counter while we were waiting on the receipt. She smarted off to Miss "My Phone Matters But Customers Don't" by saying "good talk, thanks for acknowledging my existence and speaking to me" before sashaying off as Miss MPBCD started running her mouth in response. It'll be shocking if this place makes it. Between not knowing how to season things properly, not cooking things properly, the excessive food waste, and discourteous/disinterested level of service - I don't see how they'll be able to make ends meet.
