The restaurant is spacious including diners from the hotel and outside. Can be noisy if there is a large crowd however feels calm and homey. Ricardo is the manager/head of staff, super helpful & very patient. Rafael was one of our servers and he was so friendly and patient in answering questions. Immediately after being seated, we were asked who at the table had celiac. Menu is clearly labeled with gluten free items and dairy free options as well. Vegetarian items are also labeled. Gluten free bread is available for the table. The Shitake Mushroom Cream Soup with Truffle Mascarpone Quenelle is just absolutely the best soup ever; if you're a fan of mushrooms. The orange and Chocolate cake was so good! Portion size was just right! It was so great to be able to dine without being scared of cross contamination. After…read morehearing about their gluten-free offerings, I decided to give this place a chance for one of my evening meals during my trip to the city in the Winter of 2023. The interior is fairly comfortable with many tables suited to larger parties, yet the menu and prices seem to be more in line with fine dining, while the menu was limited, I was told that pretty much everything could be adapted to be made gluten-free. I ordered the Tandoori Chicken Breast which was listed on the menu as coming with potato gratin and some mushrooms, it also came with a small number of vegetables. While I was waiting for my food, they ended up bringing some gluten-free bread and oil to my table, the gluten-free bread was hot and individually wrapped so I was really excited to try it, but the bread wasn't good at all. One of the rolls was seeded (I hate seeded bread), and the other one just didn't taste good. After the bread, I was brought another dish, which appeared to be a slice of cheese with tomato and some sort of pesto dressing, while I appreciated them bringing this to my table as a mini appetizer, my server didn't explain what it was, so I had no idea on what I was eating. I was disappointed with the service overall, as they didn't explain the cheese dish they brought to the table, and were not too attentive during my meal, my glass of water fell empty, and they also didn't check up on how my meal was until the very end. Despite being quite spacious, they did put a large family including children right next to our table, despite having gaps in-between other diners and the space to do so which I would have preferred they avoided. The portion size was a little small, it would be ideal for a light lunch but if you're looking for dinner, it would be better suited for one to have multiple courses. My main course was actually pretty good, the chicken was cooked well, and the tandoori sauce was tasty, the potato gratin also was very good, I thought it was a cool idea to have little pieces of bacon inside it, I just would have liked a lot more of it. The carrots were hard and almost inedible so having a little more chicken, and a little more potato would have made it much more filling. A service charge did appear to be added to my bill, which was only a couple of euros, it didn't appear that they charged for either the bread or cheese plate. 3* - Many positives for sure, the food was good, I just would have liked more of it. Improvements to service are also an urgent must.

The restaurant walls are adorned with beautifully designed blue tiles which adds to the warming and communal theme. Now to start, the pastel de nata here is pretty amazing. First, you have the multiple layers and crunchy, crispy texture from the buttery crust. Then you have the delicately whipped sweet custard which practically melts in your mouth. What takes this to the next level is adding a punch of cinnamon on top, which gives it a punch of warmth and is satisfying on the palate. To mention the mango milkshake, it was ok but I would call out that it didn't have much sweetness to it as I assume the mangos used were not fully ripe. That would be the one piece of feedback but otherwise, it tastes very bright and refreshing which is perfect for a hot Lisbon day. For a future time I want to try the sandwiches as these also seem to be a hit and are recommended by a lot of people! This place is definitely worth the hype and I'm glad I was able to stop by!

I showed up to the store and it showed the order was for the following day (the day I was traveling home). The staff were awesome they didn't have everything ready but they quickly started baking the missing treats to ensure I could take them home with me. While I waited for an error on my part with the pick up date. They provided me a complementary coffee and pastry. I would 100% recommend this place and I will visit again. The staff were wonderful, outgoing and courteous, making us feel right at home as soon as we set foot in the understated but well decorated place. Our ice request brought two big cubes in a separate glass, put in our glass with ice tongs. The ice was so cold it momentarily stuck to the tongs. We had vinegar and oil on our table so we got to dress it ourselves, always our choice. It was plentiful and excellent. As we requested our margherita pizza came a minute after our salad was cleared, so our small table had plenty of room for our water, beer and food. We had reservations for a party of 2 on a Saturday at 6 PM. When you check in, they give you a slip of paper which has a QR code on it for you to access the menu later, and we were promptly seated upstairs. The menu is conveniently available in several languages (you select your language at the bottom of the main menu page). We were at a long table for 6, with us sitting on the inside and another couple sitting at the end, and the table settings in between us were cleared, so it didn't feel like we were on top of one another. I appreciated that the server gave recommendations that would be good for two people. We went with most of his recommendations (shrimps on garlic sauce (it's labeled as spicy, but it's really not), clams on garlic, tiger prawns grilled on bed of salt) and added some of our own (razor clams and lobster roll). All the seafood tasted fresh, bursting with flavor from the buttery garlic sauce, which we sopped up with garlic bread. The bread is brought to the table when you first get seated. It's not free, which I was aware of, but I knew it would go well with the dishes we ordered. The razor clams were juicy and sweet. The lobster roll was good, but not something I would order again when there's so many other fantastic seafood choices. I usually don't drink beer, but felt that it was appropriate since we were at a cervejaria, so I ordered a bottle of Sagres Bohemia. It went perfectly with the seafood. My SO, who doesn't drink alcohol, got peach iced tea. I wanted to get the prego sandwich for dessert, but my SO was pretty much full at that point, so I ordered a tarte whisky and a cappuccino for myself. The whisky ice cream layer in the tarte was nice and refreshing. I was shocked when we got the bill and it came out to less than 50€. This meal would have cost so much more in the US. You pay via tablet at the end and I left a generous tip in appreciation of the wonderful meal and service. They get you in and out of there quick, but it never felt like we were being rushed out. After we were called, we walked upstairs to a brightly-lit dining room. Lots of serving staff and all very friendly. Their menu is extensive and it's great they have photos too! My favorites had to be the giant tiger prawn, razor clams, and the crab head, but everything was tasted good and the seafood tasted fresh. Would recommend!
