Found this place as we were walking from the promenade and couldn't resist! The service was prompt and fast (they spoke english as well). The seating was outside, which allowed you to people watch as well. The pizza was the highlight of the meal. The crust was so thin and fun to eat!! The pasta was honestly just decent, which is why I'm giving this place a 4 instead of a 5. Would definitely come back to try more pizza options!! read more

Large Italian restaurant in the middle of everything. Tons of outdoor seating on both sides of an open road. The food arrives incredibly fast and the service was very attentive (for Europe standards). The pizza was very traditional Italian pizza. It comes out not cut and you need to use a fork and knife to eat it. It's pretty messy and overflowing with toppings. The bottle of wine we shared was very good and the prices were all extremely fair and reasonable. This was probably the most authentic Italian we had considering we aren't in Italy. read more

This was a hidden gem that I am happy that we stumbled on. We were actually on our way to another spot and decided to come here instead. I loved the outdoor seating and the ambiance they provide. This is an Italian restaurant run by Italians. The one thing that I did like is that the Cesar salad comes with fried chicken on it. I also got the Hugo spritz and it was so light and refreshing. When we arrived in Nice we were famished from our 7+ hour train ride. Luckily we found this Italian restaurant by the beach. It's tucked away enough where you might miss it. The staff here was so kind. The first night we ordered the specials for that day. The truffle pizza and the seafood pasta. Both blew us away. They tasted so fresh!! The second night we came here we had their chocolate "lava cake" with vanilla bean ice cream. It was the perfect touch to our dinner. Solid 3.5 stars. Corner spot not far from old town Nice. Hubs and I shared the caprese salad to start, I had the Parma ham pizza, hubs ordered the rigatoni in the bolognese sauce. It was all OK. The pizza crust was thin and crispy, which I liked. I actually commented to hubs that it actually reminded me of the mouth feel of a Carr's table cracker. Found this place after our other yelp find was closed. We got seated right away and our food came out very quickly. I tried the gnocchi but it wasn't to my personal liking. My dad enjoyed the puttanesca, my mom did not like the caesar salad because it did not taste like a traditional caeser. My brother ordered the margarita pizza but it was more like a cheddar (American). Overall the service was decent but the food was not great. Very much a tourist trap. read more

The pasta plate was a 3/5 for me but my friend thought it was quite delicious. The steak with Gorgonzola cheese was okay. The meat was juicy and good; however, the Gorgonzola cheese sauce tasted nothing like Gorgonzola cheese. It was more like a mayo/watered down tar tar and just mediocre. Thankfully the salad that came with this dish was delicious. Since service was great and the waitress was so helpful I added a half star. Nice ambiance at a great location. Total- 3.5 star read more

Highly Recommended!! Great atmosphere and excellent Food. Located close to the beach and walking distance from the town center. I had the Vegetarian Pizza with mushroom and artichokes. It was the best pizza I've had during this trip to France. Our other orders included Escalope Milanese and lasagne, which were both very good. The service was also great. We had order a dish containing pork by mistake (which we don't eat), they made an alternative order and didn't charge us for the order we didn't eat, even though it was our mistake. The restaurant has an outdoor seating area, both on the Main Street and in a semi-private alley. It is very cozy and we enjoyed our evening immensely. read more

A nice little Italian/pizza restaurant. I didn't get the chance to try any of the mains due to time constraints, but if the the massive starters were anything to go by they are probably pretty good. I had a massive Italian salad, with ham, mozzarella and various vegetable/salad type things. My dining companion had a nicoise salad and that seemed to go down well, all washed down with a few beers. The ambiance, the outdoors seating and the great service are the main reasons why we like this place. The food was good, though. Great little black olives as you wait for your order. I had the burrata Pizza, which was really good and surprising, as the burrata ball is just set on top of the pizza (after the pizza is cooked). The burrata was amazing. My husband ordered the vegetarian Pizza with mushroom, green pepper and artichokes. Good to know : the green pepper is barely cooked. We also tried the eggplant with buffalo and tomatoes. It's like an eggplant sandwich : 2 slices of cooked eggplant with slices of tomato and burrata in the middle. Good but not what we expected from its name in the menu (my husband thought it would be a hot dish with tomato sauce). The red wine glass was great, fruity and tannic, served in a huge glass. I don't know what it was but it reminded me of Toscanian wines. read more

A nice selection of toppings, a nice thin crust and a selection of other stuff if pizza wasn't on you mind for the evening. I had the Napolitain, anchovy, olive, tomato sauce and cheese. Basic and good. My companions split a Regane , a white pizza with ham and olives. Again not bad. I'd go here again but with so many other places to choose from I'd also keep looking for the perfect pie. read more

This is a very touristy restaurant the food is low quality with very little flavour, we ordered the buffala pizza the buffala cheese was not properly cooked as in it was not cooked at all and just thrown on top. The pizza here is very good. Thin crust and fresh ingredients all baked in a traditional wood-burning oven. We got two to take out. The vegetarian and the arrabiata. Both were fresh and very tasty. We picked up two cans of beer on our way back to the apartment and it was just right for dinner! The place was very busy on a Wednesday evening and most people seemed to be locals. This place is located right at the beginning of the pedestrian street in Nice and it was already past 1:30 PM so we picked it for fear of not being served anywhere else as they typically have the cut off time en France. I ordered ravioli and they were probably the best I have ever eaten, the sauce was perfect and the pasta itself was freshly made there and nice and thin...I really loved it. It was very close to our hotel so I must say that during my stay I ate there another time, having a gorgeous pizza and fabulos salad so you cant go wrong here. Awesome wood-fired pizza! We came here late one evening and had a great meal. The salad was fresh. Ordered the Arrabiata Pizza and it was so good! Spicy and flavorful, the crust was light and crisp. My kids loved the pizza and we appreciated that the waitstaff/pizza chefs cut the kids' pizza into slices without us even requesting same. Waitstaff is friendly as are the pizza makers who always greet you when you walk past them. If you are looking for good pizza in Nice, this is a great choice. read more

Nice or even France I. Genera has hundreds of pizzarias as well as tons of pasta places I got a fruits de Marie pasta and thought it was presets good the server was great helping us with our French and the service was not to quick. I only gave it a four star because in the beginning the guys took about 10 minutes for our table and helped a group of hot girls first we were there before them. They only really had one waiter and it was crazy but my brother had the pizza and he said it was pretty good for pizza. Overall it is a definite place to visit for good pasta and pizza. read more
