We were already at a table and had bought drinks. The only reason we wanted to move was because we were next to the window and a weirdo kept bothering us. They wanted us to buy a bottle by telling us that if we wanted to move to another table we had to buy a bottle because it was "VIP". We ended up leaving. I was so annoyed by their attitude. If your dollars look crumbled they will reject them. All I gotta say is that they be doing too much. Out of the three bars/clubs that I visited in Cabo, La Vaquita had the best service and the best tasting drinks. Vacationing midweek might be a little different, but the crowds seemed a little dead everywhere we went. But you want find the staff getting the crowed engaged here. The livest place in downtown Cabo San Lucas! Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Your choices are similar to clubs here in the states, either you buy a table or stand in a long line to get in(which doesn't seem to move at all by the way). Great, until they think you're drunk. Paid $300 for a table and bottle service. Halfway through the night they required we pay anything additional in cash and kept all remaining "left over" as tip until confronted. We asked for two waters (240 pesos instead of 140 at the bar, fine that's the cost of service), one of the two servers requested twice I pay in cash so I paid with 500 pesos and then they proceeded to take that and never provide change. When pressed they were rude, dismissive, and failed to give the full amount of the change until pressed again. They absolutely will take advantage of you and try to keep your change if you pay in cash. I regret giving them so much money in bottle service but you live and learn. Shout out to security and our other server who were absolutely amazing the whole night. Made the experience worth it despite their counter part. Would NOT recommend this bar to anyone who won't be guarding their spending and paying attention. read more

Joint is pretty dope as it's big, open, multi level, and stages for people to dance on. This place is one of the more popping places and has a younger crazy crowd if you like that spring break feel. I was at Mandala before here and don't see how this place charges more for drinks than Mandala does being a more upscale classy place. This was our favorite nightclub in the area during our trip. We went to some back to school party and the DJ hit ALL the old school 80s, 90s, 00s hip hop music. After the terrible experience my friends and I had with Squid Roe staff, we came over here and had the best night! Staff was attentive and always made sure we were okay. Drinks were greats and shots were huge lol. It's a very fun vibe and the music was mixed with tons of genres so everyone was able to enjoy. This club looks like so much fun, but for starters there's no place to dance. The space is so odd that there's really only room to stand and sway. The service is also absolutely horrible. We had a friend buy a table, so we assumed they would be kind. However, after a few hours they were upset with how many people the table next to us had brought in and started trying to kick people out. Shouldn't they have capped it earlier or discussed it with each table before trying to remove people forcefully? They resorted to writing what table we belonged to on our hands, but did so at their discretion. One of my friends got hers signed, but when I leaned in for mine, the guy told me no. It was so incredibly rude and uncalled for I couldn't believe it. When my friend who bought the table asked why I didn't get one, security simply said there were too many people. So it was security's decision then who stayed and not the owner of the table? We left shortly after. I will not come here again. I liked this place better than Squid Roe because of the music and the people. They trapped us by offering us free shots, what made was stay was their music along with the matching videos. There are plenty of seats and many tables for bottle service. They have this ladder that goes up to this platform where you can dance. We got bottle service here and the come with a sparkler and offer us chase. Our waiter always attended to us and didn't let us pour our own drinks. What's appealing about this about place is that everything is outdoor. As you walk down the street, you see the bar, the screens, the dance floor and tables. This place definitely had better music and a more diverse crowd than Squid Roe. read more

I've been to La Vaquita in PVR and always have a good experience and thought would be the same coming to Cabo. We purchased a Don Julio bottle service....had a terrible experience from the beginning. We had no air conditioning, even though we tipped the guy generously +15% kept us in non air conditioned area. We didn't even drink half of the Don Julio bottle amongst our group when my friend started to feel sick. Took her to the ladies restroom and she was unable to get up. A group of employees waiters/bouncers came to the ladies room and were ready to throw us out even though I insisted my friend just needed a minute as she was feeling ill. Had to help my friend to literally hurry as they are ready to come in and pull her out of bathroom stall...when we got back to the resort we had to call the doctor as her condition worsen, the doctor that came to examine her said that it was liquor poisoning and most likely we were sold and altered version on Don Julio. He also asked which location we were at and he mentioned that this club has bad reputation for selling bad alcohol....Which by the way we ended up only drinking half a bottle, when we came up out of the bathroom they had discarded the bottle we purchased and said we drank it all....beware of this place and avoid if you don't want to be poisoned with bad alcohol. read more

BEWARE! CREDIT CARD FRAUD! I went here in November 2017 with my girlfriend. We had a few drinks, paid with my Visa Debit for $500 pesos ($27usd). When I got home they had charged me $5250 pesos ($276usd). I disputed the charge with my bank, who then came back stating that the restaurant provided a signed, itemized receipt. They sent me a copy of this and it is not my handwriting or my signature. Not to mention they added a 45% tip, which I would have never done. While my bank and Visa investigate further, they recommended that I contact the local authorities in Mexico and report the theft/fraud. I tried to reach the restaurant by phone as well as Facebook but no reply. After reading all the reviews on yelp, I see that this restaurant does this frequently. I should have checked here before going in the first place. Live and learn. La Vaquita is one of the reasons many are worried about traveling to Cabo. I will not be back and I'll be sure to spread the word. read more

Its an outdoor club, with a dance floor right in the middle. Music was okay (it started off with American hip hop, then some pop music with a little bit of EDM). Our server said anyone can tell the DJ what to play as long as you buy enough alcohol. They have a cow mascot (and other club guys) that goes out to the street to bring people in haha. I feel like they were working way too hard to bring people and and have them stay. We asked for the check a bunch of times before they actually gave it to us, and they kept telling us to stay there. It's a fun environment, but I had more fun at other spots downtown. read more

Came here for a bachlorette party on 051818 and it was the last stop on our club crawl so we were here from 0045 to 0130. The music was just ok for me. The place was really packed / crowded. The only thing I really appreciated was the cool light up props they gave us once we walked in i.e. the headband and microphone and the fact that Leon (from walnut creek, CA and NY) bought a bucket of beer so that the girl's could sit in the reserved area without getting kicked out by security. I went here with three other girls on a Tuesday night. We were walking by and they offered us free drinks. It was pretty empty here when we first got here around 11pm... maybe 10-13 people. Later in the night one huge group came that seemed like locals. The music is VERY loud and the dj played a couple songs we requested. He was playing Spanish and American music. The staff was having fun and dancing with us. From the videos they had on the wall it looks like this place gets packed on the weekend. Well I would just like to start by saying that it is my 1st time in Cabo and this place didnt help for a welcoming visit. I was disrespected by one of the waiters by pushing me aside at the bar. Secondly, another waiter had asked my friend and I if we wanted drinks while on the dance floor then asked if we would buy him one, so we said no it's okay and cancelled our order. He brought over drinks and at this point we think it's on the house based on the fact we cancelled our order. When we were walking out he stops us and states we need to pay, as confused as we all were we ask how much the bill was..my friend let's him know we would never return to the location and his response was "okay I dont care". I wish I would have got his name, I felt so unwelcome by most of the locals and employees of such locations, especially this one.
