A great local dive bar to grab a brew and some tacos. It's an easy walk from the port, and we liked it enough to go both days we were in town. You can walk right in and grab a seat. Service was quick and friendly, and--as you'd expect--they've got cheap beers and inexpensive shots. They also offer a Taco Tuesday special with $2 tacos. The tacos were good, though not something we'd go out of our way for again. There were plenty of TVs on and music playing, creating a fun, laid‑back atmosphere. This spot is a true gem! I heard about Happy Ending in a Facebook group and people raved about how friendly everyone was. It definitely lived up to the hype. This spot has a local bar feel with plenty of regulars that cycle through on their respective vacations. The chairs at the bar are even "sponsored" by people who pay for the chair annually to get a plaque with their name on the back and that grants them the right to that chair anytime they drop in. What's really neat is the owner is a former serviceman and I've heard that he does a lot of amazing things for other fellow service people. The drinks and food are cheap. It's definitely more of your typical bar food, but there's nothing wrong with that, especially after a few margaritas. This spot will be a regular for us during our future trips, you just can't beat the vibe! read more

We went bar hopping after making some new friends and they took us here. It's a pretty small place and not much going on. I ordered a tamarindo margarita and don't remember what everyone else got. The drink was alright to me, so our new friends finished it for me since I didn't like it too much. There wasn't much room for dancing, but I was able to request one of my favorite Latin songs. It's my favorite bar in Cabo to sit and have a drink and talk with all the tourist that come and go. Bartenders are friendly and pour great drinks. Free beer pong tables and great music pumping all day long. Bring in a old t-shirt from a college or professional team and they might let you hang in on the ceiling or wall. read more

We've been coming here for years and are always welcomed by the gracious friendly staff or the owners Gene and Regine. The food is cheap and simple and the bar prices can't be beat. Oh and check out their t-shirts. My husband has about 6 of them. We love pin up culture. We always come during the day but I hear Happy Endings G's really gets going at night. I love the decor in the bar with the hanging bills from the ceiling. That's what drew me to this place. Their drinks are pretty cheap compared to other bar in the area. There mixed drinks are horrible. The Addios MF tasted like juice, and wasn't strong at all. The Mango Daiquiri tasted like Tang. Didn't even drink the Daiquiri. Gave it back because it was so bad, but they still charged us for it. 1 drink, and was out the door. I wasn't impressed at all. read more

Decided to hang out here due to cheap drinks and the service members wall and badges on display. Ended up after several cheap (but great) drinks the tropical storm flooded the streets and the bar and caused a power outage. There was all kinds of stuff going on and we were forced to the back, in that chaos I forgot my very important backpack at our table by the door. A couple hours later after the storm called down we were on our way out when the doorman asked me to wait a second. He had seen my backpack and left it behind the bar and ensured we wouldn't leave without it. Customer service was too notch, drinks were fantastic and cheap, everybody was great. This is a little out there BUT...if you take a Mexico vacation and stop in Cabo San Lucas...you HAVE to stop in at the Happy Ending Cantina. This place is great. You can get 2 beers(Pacifico, Corona etc and 2 shots(Tequila) for just $5 or 10 shots of Mango Tequila for $10 as well as any other well drinks. The atmosphere is 'good times for all'. The service was excellent with good seating. A bit of a sports bar also. Located right on Boulevard Paseo de la Marina. Be ready to have a good time and enjoy yourself. A definite recommended place to stop. Don't forget to sign a dollar bill and hang it with the others. read more
