It turns out, its cheaper to buy a table once you're there versus pre-booking it in advance. Our table for eight girls was under $600 for a bottle and chasers. If we had ordered drinks at the bar it would've probably cost us more for the group overall. The bride had a lot of fun and so did the rest of the party. Drinks were great especially the lemon drop shot. We were treated very nicely by staff and given a table as the only two people at the club on a Tuesday night. My problem? The DJ. We were told by the bouncers he would play a variety of music not just rap, so we could dance. He didn't. When I asked was super dismissive (I speak fluent Spanish) and that he wouldn't play anything that we wanted since the club was empty. This will be my first and last time at Mandala. Our large group decided to check out Mandala instead of the MANY other options in the area, and first paid $400 dollars for a table and for a bottle of vodka. After we finished our drinks, they kicked us from our table and into the general section, FOR NO REASON. Later, me and my friends went to the bar to order 3 Redbull Vodkas, and the first time, I got charged $46. The 2nd time we ordered the same exact thing, the charge was $96. My card got declined because it thought that the charge was suspicious activity, but my friend ended up paying it and we got surprised by that almost $100 charge for the 3 Red Bull vodkas. What an amazing club - going to this place on a Friday night was legendary!!! This is the most legit club experience I've ever had. Packaged but room to move around- this place has lots of seating. We liked this place before but no more. It's been a few years since we been here. We came and ordered a few drink. When we got the bill, I was surprised to be charged $20 for a manhattan with Tito's drink, when their menu says 205 which is $12. They didn't say it's a $8 mark up for Tito's. Every time I go to Cabo, I make sure to hang out at Mandala. Of all the spots in the area, this is one of my favorites. It's a little nicer than some of the other places, and has a great outdoor patio area to relax. Drinks are good and the staff is friendly. One of the things I like about Mandala is that it offers the best of both worlds. If you are in the mood to party like a rock star, you can go inside where it has a real nightclub feel. However, if you want more of a lounge experience, you can enjoy the nice outdoor patio. TIP: If you're celebrating something special, you can tip the waitress or DJ and they will write a personal message for you on the large screen. read more

If you ever been to Cabo and wanted to dance the night away, you must have by chance (or dragged by some persistent promoters) into Mandala. You will be pushed to come in and buy bottles if you want a decent place to hang around at this club. The service was great but we experienced anejo bottles that were not even sealed. We asked the server to come bring bottles with a seal on it but they refused and insisted that this is how the bottles are packaged. Whatever they were serving in those bottles was not don Julio. They did not let us talk to a manager nor addressed the situation. We will never come here and buy liquor but rather stick to beer so we know it's sealed and what we are drinking is actually what we are drinking. Do not come here before 10am, since it'll be pretty empty. I had to come in and out a couple of times before it finally got semi-packed. The music is fairly American and top 40s, with big tvs on the dance floor playing the music videos. They also have a stamp that they'll try to put on the ladies' butts but I kindly said no to that. They kept asking why I wouldn't do it throughout the night, so that made me uncomfortable. Nothing special, really. Been here a few times and its the same sh*t every night. Sucks that its the only club style joint here in Cabos and it is what it is. If you only plan on going once it will be fun but after that it will be dragging. Drinks here are expensive in my opinion for it to be a Cabo club and bottle service can be too. Mandala was our go to club for a few of the trips I've taken down to cabo. Staff is very helpful but not pushy like most other bouncers you'll see on the street. The dance floor is pretty large relative to the few different club options on the same block. They have great options for table service all around the dance floor. Music is good, mostly playing late 90s and early 2000s music. They even display some of the music videos on their big screens which is pretty cool. read more

We booked this place for my friend's bachelorette. We paid for a table when we should have just walked by with a group of girls and just gotten a table for free. When we got to our table they told us that the bottles were what we were paying for and that we had to pay for the chasers. Imagine paying 700 dollars for a table and having to pay for the JUICE and WATER. To drink their watered down bottles of alcohol. It's a rip off. The music is okay and the vibes are alright but for the amount we paid we really should have gotten at least one chase. They also hounded us for a tip at the end of the night as if we owed them something. The service wasn't bad but for 700 dollars they really should give us WATER and JUICE. Ok, I don't go to many clubs, so what do I know. All I can say is that we must have been out in the off-season or way too early (maybe it was like 10:30?) so it wasn't very crowded and all, and it was free drinks for the girls (the bartender was very clear that the one gay male in our bachelorette party could NOT have a free drink). There's a pole in the middle of the club on a platform so our two bachelorette parties had a dance off (not really). I won (really). The back of the club is I guess where the tables are and a larger dance floor. I'm told that this is the most "LA" of the clubs in Cabo, and I guess given the purple lights and the flatscreens and the modern furniture, I could see that. Got more packed around 11:30. Bachelor Party Review. We went out to other locations the night before (Friday) and it was packed everywhere even this place. I can't do my usual review about parking since we took a cab/bus to here from the Resort we stayed at. Our second stop of the night. No cover charge to come in. The people wanted to get us a table for butler service but we said no thank you. This place felt like an actual club like omnia, but the dress code is super lax. Saw people in shorts and flip flops. Place played more of the dancing, fist pumping music. They also have a stripper pole near the bar. They take USD and peso. The price here for drinks are more expensive compare to our first stop. They service most of the drinks in a plastic cup. As you exit you can bring your drinks. Just got to pour them into a plastic cup. They have a patio area where there are tables for bottle service. They have a layout inside where it's like stadium seating for bottle service as well. We rolled in with 11 guys so we probably wouldn't have gotten bottle service for cheap or free as others have reviewed. Good times and experience here. If we go back to Cabo San Lucas we would probably come back here for the main partying. It felt right. I would recommend this place to my friends and some of my family. Certain people will dig this place, others will not. If your more of a club person then this place is for you. I think they are filling bottles with dif cheaper teq and reusing the bottles. It's a shame bc the music and vibe at this place is great however getting swindled is not ok. Mandala is probably the closest thing to a Vegas-style club you'll find in Cabo. And its a lot of fun! My sisters and I came here around 11:30 on a Saturday night and it was in full swing. While the inside is similar to Vegas, the door policies and dress code aren't. Although you only have to be 18 to get in, they of course don't check IDs. There is no cover, you can walk right in if the bouncer doesn't stop you, and you can either wear a club dress or go more casual. Less is more because it is HOT inside. I never would have guessed, but they have a lot of tables for bottle service and its apparently pretty affordable. They even have guys bring the bottles to your table with sparklers. Our friends bought champagne and vodka and the employees were quick with the refills. Music is a mix of Top 40s and EDM and you're sure to have a good time dancing until 4am! read more

This is because my girls and I are club rats and we prefer table service and the clubbing environment, although we did prefer the music in Squid Roe. The music at Mandala club can be super wacky at times (weird bangers and lame old EDM songs) but when they bring out the hip hop it gets everyone going! There's a big pole in the back of the dance floor and it's always wild when drunk people suddenly become strippers XD (my friends and I included). The first night we came, my girls and I got ushered into a table..which was a little weird but the guys were cute so whatever :P both times we came we had tables which made it fun so I'm not sure how different my experience would be otherwise. Overall though, I think Mandala Club is my top choice going out in downtown Cabo. The crowd is a huge mix, depending on when you go (ie if you go during spring break you'll see a bunch of college kids, we saw a group of high school kids for a bit which was so odd, and then an influx of older Hispanic people, so it really depends!) God bless the Tequila Gods because it was hysterical. The drinks were tasty, priced well & the service was awesome. The drinks just kept flowing. The lighting, dance floor & décor were great. I don't think they really cared about capacity here, since they just kept letting people in even though it was already packed and cramped! The set up was also weird as they have the bottle service tables so close to the really small dance floor! They had a huge red curtain as a divider that kept a big part of venue closed (maybe that area was only for private events). It just got too crowded for us that we left! Let me just say that if you appreciate good lighting for pictures then their women's restroom is the best lighting you will ever see in your life! I went for my bachelorette party and it was soooo much fun! Within five minutes there was a balloon crown on my head ;). My friends went to the DJ and got them to put up Bachelorette Prany on all the big screens! The employees go above and beyond!
