She's one of those people who just wants to make everyone around her - especially her employees and her customer base - miserable like she is. She gets off on it. She could teach a course in how NOT to manage a retail business that involves any kind of interaction with the clients. The beds are ridiculous. They are not kept in good repair. If she especially doesn't like you, she'll put you in bed 2 or GOD FORBID bed 14. Her favorite trick is to assign you to a fire-inducing bed (I'm serious; if you get in it, you will smell like KFC and NOT in a good way) and God bless one of her underlings (she treats all her employees like slaves [yelling at them - IN FRONT OF A LOBBY FULL OF CUSTOMERS - for not ROLLING THE TOWELS CORRECTLY AND HOW TRISH'S DAY WAS COMPLETELY RUINED) and with absolutely zero respect (except for the ones that are her DAUGHTERS, which is a large percentage of them), sidled up to the Manager Trish with her head down (she was afraid of her, which Trish LOVES) and said, "Didn't you tell us this morning not to put anybody in bed 2 because the bulbs are not cooling down between customers?" Oh man. That poor young lady got taken in the back and you could hear Trish yelling at her. And the beds! LOOK AT THE BEDS! There are dead spiders and literal granules of detritus like dirt, dust, rodent droppings, hair, trash, pieces of torn tissue... on the ground, under the beds, in the crevices of the beds. what. The. HECK? Who owns this place? Is there any Butler County health department that regularly checks this joint? And it breaks the law that says there cannot be just one lone employee in the establishment. Most evenings there is one lone employee, and they're young people. Another thing TRISH the manager of Four Seasons Tanning does is she sells her own crafts in the store! I have never seen any business allow some no-name to sell their junk (and this is JUNK; it has nothing to do with tanning or self-care [she makes plastic double-insulated glasses and mugs with reindeer and other characters (which I'm sure she doesn't have a license for) and she literally pushes (I mean that: she puts one in your hand) them on the customers who are there to tan]). I witnessed Trish tell a customer that Trish had stayed up all weekend and got no sleep so she could make them. This place needs Trish to be FIRED. Then the Butler County health department needs to get in there with a nuclear electrician and microscope and a fine-tooth comb and an exterminator and clean that dump the heck up! And how come there's such a dearth of tanning salons in Cranberry Twp? I smell a rat... I know there's one that just opened in Butler proper but that it is owned by the same people who have TRISH running the Ogle Station Four Seasons Tanning into the ground. CAVEAT EMPTOR.

I bought a Groupon for this location because I always wanted to give it a try. Now I understand why…read moreit's on Groupon!!! My experience felt rushed and I left feeling dissatisfied and tricked. Let's start with the few positives: 1) The decor was kind of cute inside. 2) They had a good audio system that played music all throughout the studio at a decent volume. I really tried to find some nice things to say about the place. Though, it was hard.. Onto the negatives: 1) After noticing the interactions between the lash techs, I get the feeling that this is JUST a job for everyone there. I came early in the morning and their conversations seemed monotonous; No one had passion in their voice. It made me feel a bit uncomfortable and unwelcome. 2) My lash tech was Alex. When I booked, I paid extra for someone that was advertised as a lash "master". If she's considered a master, this company should reconsider their certification process. I showed her a picture of big voluminous lashes and left with the shortest lash extensions that were slightly a step up from my normal lashes. I even told her that I wanted super "extra" lashes. Even worse, my lashes have fallen off in multiple chunks not even two days after!! (I've followed all the recommendations such as no showering for the first 24 hours) Seriously, I've gotten my lashes done in people's basements that were way better than here!! 3) I left feeling like an idiot who was tricked. I wasn't told until towards the end of my service that she used a shorter length on my lashes. She never asked about length she just did what she felt necessary even though I showed her a reference picture at the beginning that was CLEARLY different than the results I got. Even worse, it wasn't even a full hour and I was already checking out at the register. Keep in mind, I was getting a full set. Usually those services take close to 2 hours to do and refills usually are about an hour. She told me that she would charge me for a "true express" which is less because I wasn't getting a "true volume set". At the check out, I mentioned how I was using a Groupon for the "true volume" but was only given a true express lash and asked how that would work out. I think Alex just didn't want to deal with the extra steps of dealing with the Groupon and backtracked on what she originally told me. She said that she used used volume lashes all on my lashes, but I just had so few lashes that it looked like a true express service. I didn't even want to argue with her about it.. Towards the end, she had the audacity to discuss membership pricing with me. I was considering signing up for the membership when walking in dependent on my results. It's a joke to even think about such a silly concept now after the horrible results and service I got. My experience has scared me away from ever trying Deka lash again. I'll stick to local businesses that are true on their words and passionate about their craft. Alex, you should consider another profession. I'm sorry.

I will start off by saying that there were things that I did like about this lash studio, but there…read moreare things that are absolutely mind boggling to me. Like the fact that all of my lashes are GONE and it's only been 5 days. So I'll start off with the things that I liked because my review isn't a reflection on every location or lash tech.. What I liked about Deka Lash is the atmosphere. I didn't feel like I was in a doctors office like I have at other lash studios. I liked that it was open and didn't feel so closed off and claustrophobic. The eye pillows they used to keep bottom lashes from being stuck together were also nice. At other studios I've had my face taped in every which direction and these just laid on my lashes without feeling uncomfortable. Now for why I'm so disappointed: First off- My lash tech did not was her hands or wear gloves before touching my eyes. This made me feel uncomfortable. I've never had my lashes done without my tech washing their hands before getting started. Especially when a pandemic is going on! Secondly- fter our initial consultation we had agreed on C curls and a little extra length. What I got were D curls and no added length. Not to mention my left eye was missing 5-6 lashes on the outside. There was just nothing there..... not sure if my tech was looking to get out of there early as I was her last client for the day or what happened but come on....... Third- I was instructed to gently brush out my lashes the next morning. When I did, I counted 9 lashes that had fallen out. I knew some of them would fall out but 9?! The next morning I did the same and 7 fell out that time. That's not counting what fell out during the night. I didn't brush them out the 4th day of having them but this morning (5th morning) I had ONE left on my right eye. ONE. It looked like my eyes were shedding all over my pillow... To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. Lashes have never fallen out this fast for me. Ever. I've had lashes last an entire month before having to get a fill. This is honestly insane to me. But like I said. This is not a reflection on the entire company as a whole. This could've been a result of a lack in training from my lash tech but regardless, this shouldn't have been the results I was left with.
