Well, went here on May 15th year of our lord 2026 . My boys graduated and my eldest of the twins chose this place and seeing as how it's Nashville Arkansas and we left for Japan two days later there weren't very many choices . Any ways,I had this Seafood quesadillas. It was a 6/10 it wasn't bad just different , it was more like a flat soft taco type thing . Be that as it may,seafood quesadillas was a 6/10 and the chips and guacamole were a 7/10 . Reason for a 4 star is the service was exceptional ,food okay , service top tier . What more can I say it's a Mexican restaurant in Nashville Arkansas and my son loves it,my other son not so much,but hey just cause they look alike doesn't mean they like the same foods . I love the chips and salsa and that I got my own salsa bowl so that I didn't have to share with the double dipper in my party. The service was very quick and our waiter was amazing. The drinks are huge as well. The cheese quesadilla doesn't come with sour cream, salsa, or guacamole which was very surprising. It was average. The cheese enchilada puzzled me. The tortilla was not corn, the cheese inside was not a shredded cheddar, and instead of red sauce on top, it was a queso blanco sauce. I've literally never seen anything like it. Not gonna lie, I was very pleasantly surprised by this place. I just started traveling to Nashville, AR for a new project and was afraid I wouldn't find very many good food places since the town is so small. I was craving Mexican food and noticed this place was less than half a mile from our jobsite. I walked in to a quiet, friendly little restaurant and was seated promptly. The server brought out chips and salsa, which I can never resist. The salsa was a little tomatoey, but not bad. There weren't many vegetarian options, but they did have veggie fajitas. Let me just say, these have got to be some of the best veggie fajitas I've had in a long time. It consisted of broccoli, mushrooms, bell peppers and onions topped with a later of cheese, and came out still sizzling. The order came with a side of rice, beans and 3 tortillas (I chose flour). The portion was huge and the price very reasonable. The servers were kind and attentive and I could tell they had regulars coming in based on how they greeted them. Our town has tons of Mexican restaurants, but nothing compares to LaVilla. When you walk in the services very quick and very friendly. They walk you to a booth/ table and ask you what you want to drink and within 1 minute you have your drinks. They also give you plenty of time to choose what delicious meal you would like. Absolutely the most amazing Mexican food you'll have in your life. I was born and raised in Mexico, We had the chicken soup (added rice because it reminds me of my northern Mexican traditions), the guacamole dip (guacamole minus jalapeños and completely blended.. My 1 year old thought it was the best thing ever! And so did i!), the burrito gigante (loved the charbroiled meat!) the chicken quesadilla (the kids split that one it was big enough and yummy!) Great place. Went to this place based on Yelp. Ordered the queso dip, chihuahua fajitas, tortilla soup and a chimichanga. All were excellent choices. Big huge bowl for the soup. Unexpected. This is a very good Mexican restaurant. Lots of options. My family and I loved it. The only thing I see is the doorknob on the inside of the boys bathroom is loose, so if it popped off and the door was locked, you would be stuck inside. We frequent this place often and it has steadily decreased in quality of food and service. This trip our waitress only ordered one of our child's dinner. When we informed her that the order was wrong, she said that she must have misunderstood and never apologized. Our children's meals were brought out about 10 minutes later cool to the touch. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DON'TKNOW WHERE THEY ARE. TOO DUMB TO GET TO OR OUT OF THE BUILDING. I called to get directions and the girl that answered the phone could not even understand the question, so she handed the phone to another girl. I asked the same question, and she did not know how to tell me to get there, what street they were on or what was next to them. Irritated, I hung the phone up, waited a few minutes and called back, got another girl and she did not have a clue how to tell me their location, so I hung up again...............called again, asked the same question..........she did not know where they were located......I asked for the manager, he was, of course, busy.....finally I said, "If you can not tell people how to get to your restaurant, then you don't even need to be working there"....then she hung up on me. Last call, 4th time I had asked for the manager, again she tells me that he's not available...I told her I would hold............she put the phone down for approx. 3 minutes..........all I hear in the background is ha, ha , ha laughing, then she hangs up the phone. We stopped after spending the day at Washington state park. We were not familiar with the are so we just went by this site. The waitress was not familiar with the menu, when I asked about something on the menu it was "I don't know, I haven't worked here very long". Drinks were not filled until she was asked. I ordered Carne Asada tacos and was given carne Asada meal. We explained, she took it back and then came back and said that was correct, I said that no, it wasn't, she finally brought the food, after watching my family eat for a bit. It didn't have the pico de gallo or the special sauce it was supposed to have with it, but I was hungry. My husband went to ask for the manager since they overcharged for my meal, no manager available. They changed the bill to the right price and that was it. Oh, the beans tasted like the kind that come out of the can. Being from California and Las Vegas, I know what Mexican food should taste like, but I also understand that this is Arkansas, but I do expect decent service..2 stars for my daughters chicken quesadillas. read more
