We saw a few sting rays, jelly fish, and birds. Was really hoping to see a dolphin, but what are you gonna do? Haha. Small group made it easy to chat and learn more about the area. Susan had worked at the reserve for years before starting the business so she knows a LOT about all the wildlife. Definitely would recommend to anyone in the Naples area!!! They have everything you need, including bug spray (which I was very thankful for) to have a delightful time on the water. They even carefully grabbed some crabs and jellyfish to teach us about. Really can't say enough good things! Must do trip!!!

Starting with the location, the resort is conveniently situated right off I-75 and is impossible to miss. The property is huge and offers plenty of parking. My only minor complaint is that there is very little shade in the parking lot. Check-in was quick and easy. Kirsten at the front desk was incredibly friendly and welcoming. She answered all of our questions and made the arrival process seamless. Upon check-in, every guest receives a pair of wolf ears, which is a fun touch and makes everyone feel like part of the "pack." Our toddler was celebrating a birthday a few days later, so we purchased the birthday package, which was under $40 and absolutely worth it. It included two large balloon displays, a birthday poster, a special birthday wolf plush, birthday wolf ears, and a bag filled with toys and treats. One of the coolest perks was the included birthday cup, which could be filled at the candy bar in the gift shop. Our toddler loved leaving with a cup full of gummy bears! The resort's app is also very helpful. It provides a schedule of all the activities happening throughout the day. There are so many kid-friendly events offered in the morning, afternoon, and evening. The lobby itself is incredibly interactive and comes alive at night with story time, dance parties, and other entertainment. It's truly something you have to experience in person. The resort also has dining options on-site, including a full-service restaurant and smaller food spots such as Dunkin'. Of course, the biggest attractions are the Adventure Park and water park. The Adventure Park includes a ropes course, arcade, mini golf, bowling, and more. During our short stay, we spent our time in the arcade and water park. The arcade was a lot of fun and reasonably priced. Everything is loaded onto a prepaid card, making it easy to add money, track credits, and store tickets for prize redemption. The water park was the true standout. It is massive and has something for every age group. There are multiple play areas for younger children, exciting slides for older kids and adults, a lazy river, a wave pool, and a giant tipping bucket that drenches everyone below. And that's just the indoor water park. Outside, there is another large pool with a beach-style entry that gradually gets deeper. There are lounge chairs positioned right in the water, which made for a very relaxing experience. The outdoor area also includes a hot tub, bar, and convenient restroom facilities. One feature I especially appreciated was the wide variety of complimentary life jackets available for children of different ages and sizes. Being able to use them throughout the park was such a great benefit for families. Honestly, this place exceeded our expectations in every way. From the staff and activities to the water park and family-friendly atmosphere, Great Wolf Lodge delivered an incredible experience. We are already planning our next trip back!

That was primarily why we were there. And we all enjoyed every minute. Outside of the water park we spent a lot of time in the Arcade. It was a lot of fun. A lot of tickets won and they walked away with some great prizes. Over all our stay was good. Room was nice and spacious. And comfortable. The activities on the lobby for the kids were great. Especially the story time. Watching our 2 year old grandson enjoy that was priceless.

For example; the lazy river used to be fast and fun with buckets of water dropping on your head and water spraying and pouring above you with fun stuff to do with people everywhere, but now the river is fully empty and not one bucket or water pipes that leak water onto you are there. When I say zero I mean ZERO! Instead you've got this barren wasteland and husk of what it used to be. (Not to mention but the river is a bit TOO lazy. You barely move forward!) don't even get me started on the rebranding! There used to be this cool turtle guy who was the mascot and things were actually THEMED after him with like lily pads and turtle themed attractions; but now it's this stupid alligator guy who does not look welcoming or full of fun at all. Oh my god and the fountain sprinklers they used to have just don't even work. Like they're there but they just don't turn on at all and it used to be a big attraction there but now it's just dead. I can genuinely name 100 more things that were so much better then whatever lackluster amalgamation they have going on there. This park used to be fun and exciting, but everything that defined the park is gone. If you went there before it all went down the drain you'd know. It's really hard to explain how great this park used to be to someone who's only gone within the past year but it was truly magical. We need to get this park back to its former glory. But until this park gets its s*** together, don't go.

When we visited, there was no "swamp" to be seen for much of it, and I've been many times so I knew where the water was supposed to be but because of the drought - nope. This made about 75% of the boardwalk walk very boring for my kids as there really were no animals to see. It was only when you get to the lettuce lake area that we spotted a few alligators. I was not happy that we drove an hour for my kids to not see much and be bored (and frankly, so was I). The Audubon does a fantastic job, the visitor center is wonderful, and the info on the trails is great...but the "no swamp swamp" got to us on this visit.

Southeastern Sunflower season is early weeks of Oct. Missed it, but i won't next year!
