The positive: He was on time, boat and equipment as advertised. Location was fantastic, not another boat in sight! Great. The negative: my son already had basic wakeboarding skills. There was 0 coaching to correct basic technique or assist with improvement to the next level. 0. We went for a two hour wake boarding charter with Dustin. All of us were complete beginners and we all were able to get up quickly on his 'zup board' trainer and enjoy the water. Captain Dustin is the one to choose!!! We started off with a boat ride from the canal behind our house and went to a local island called Keewaydin. The water was beautiful and the beach covered in all different kinds of shells. Then we went to a nice channel for the girls to learn how to wakeboard. With his instruction, they were all able to get up on the board within a couple of attempts. We finished in grand style as we saw a dolphin that wanted to run along the boat and, as if on cue, made a full body jump out of the water. We had a fantastic time and would go again. Well, the boat was in great shape, the board was quality, he found a nice area with glassy water even though it was windy. He seems really flexible, doesn't charge you upfront or even take a credit deposit, I wonder how many people flake on him? But this flexibility was one of the reasons I booked with him. He gives good advice without being pushy, and accepts credit cards right on the boat at the end. Perfect way to spend the morning getting some exercise in a beautiful location. read more
