I haven't had a bad experience yet. It's a large room with curtains in between clients/tables, you lay in between the flat sheets, they have bolsters for neck and knees as needed. Appointments are 60mins long. They have booking Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursdays 9 to 4pm. Everyone is so friendly.

They have removed several services, including upper leg waxing, back facials, and even extractions during facials. Last year, I had a great experience with a facial, so I purchased their "4 for $40" facial promotion, which I was excited about. After that, I booked several appointments, but they were repeatedly canceled. Every time I tried calling the school to reschedule, no one answered or returned my calls--this happened multiple times. Eventually, I had to go in person to schedule an appointment, and I finally secured one for the next day. During my facial, I was asked four times to confirm my identity. Then, I was suddenly told that my facial package no longer existed. They asked me to provide a bank statement as proof of purchase, to which I responded that I had bought the package last January and it should be found in the system. The staff member then informed me that facials expire after a year--something I was never told when I purchased the package. I received no notification via email, text, or even verbally at the time of purchase. I was then told that I couldn't purchase another package at that promotional price because I'm "not a first-time customer"--even though I still have three facials left on my current package. Then middle of my facial, I briefly picked up my phone once. Immediately, a woman, who appeared to be in charge, rudely approached me and told me to put it away. My aesthetician seemed surprised and even mentioned that she had never seen that happen before. Later, I asked another staff member if it was acceptable to use my phone during a facial, and she confirmed that it was--as long as the aesthetician was okay with it, which mine was. Overall, my experience has gone downhill due to poor customer service, lack of communication, and inconsistent policies. It's disappointing because I used to love coming here. If you're looking for cheap services, it might be worth it--but in my opinion, the disrespect that comes with it isn't. I'd rather pay for one high-quality service per year than go there and be treated poorly.

Alicia was my stylist today....she was attentive to my needs and requests- and because of her talent my hair is crazy gorgeous :) I am particular about the foils, my color, the toner, even the way it is combed out and styled. Alicia was professional and courteous while being pleasant and fun. She was aware I was in a bit a time crunch but she still worked her amazing magic within the time frame. I couldn't be happier! I give the school 10 stars- never an unpleasant experience and always pleased with my hair and the service. Mitsu stopped by to say "hi" and the instructors remained hands-on the whole time.

I had originally gotten my haircut and I was super happy with the result. During that same appointment I then asked my stylist if she could do a very casual grown out balayage on me and she said yes. Day of color everything is going fine. I show her my inspiration pics and strictly say that I want to stay away from a warm honey color, that I am concerned about damaging my hair (so we do a protective treatment), and that I want a grown out color look since I don't get my hair done too often. Everything is fine - until she styles my hair and I realize that I am almost completely a warm honey - nearing yellow- blonde (I am a natural dark brunette). I ended up messaging her later that night and saying I was unhappy and wanted it fixed. I come back in to get it fixed and I have my natural color put back on my roots to make me look less blonde. I assume that I was also toned again to get it away from the warm color but it still seems very yellow. I end up just agreeing with the end product with it because my hair now feels damaged and brittle and is still not the color I wanted. While I didn't pay to get it 'fixed'. I paid $140 before tip for this "balayage". The price included in a preventative damage treatment that would have helped if I would have been colored properly the first time. At this point my very healthy hair is breaking the most it has, and I am having to do hair masks every other wash. I originally did this as a way to save some money and thought that a level 2 stylist would be able to give me something close to what I had in mind. Now I am having to have it professionally fixed and would have spent less time and money if I just would have went to a professional the first time.
