I had such a pleasant experience with Mychelle. After a botched experience left my brows scarred, I…read morecame to Mychelle right before my military deployment to repair my brows. She accommodated my schedule knowing I was slotted to leave the country in a few weeks. She was careful to explain the process and sent me home with a care package. I was fully informed of the process and what I should expect. I felt heard at every point of the experience. When I came back for a touch-up brow, she did an amazing job again even when it was a holiday for her. She made time for me. I appreciated that. Mychelle is an amazing artist and business owner. Her business is clean and aesthetically pleasing. Her story is inspiring, if you ever get the privilege of hearing it.

Let me just say that I've been searching for several years for someone to do my ombré powder brows…read more I was ready to go back to California or maybe hOuston to get them done because options were more abundant. When I searched online, everyone that said they did "ombré brows" were not truly ombré brows--there was no gradient of light to dark effect. I was also really hoping to find someone who was Asian or has experience working with Asian clients. I was ECSTATIC when I found Mychelle and looked at her portfolio of previous work. The booking process was a breeze and Mychelle was wonderful to work with. She is very honest and price is reasonable for her experience. Is it cheap? No. But do you really want to pay "cheap" for your brows, which can make or ruin your face?! She was very patient with me getting my draft brows to my liking. I also trust her suggestions. I will post pics after it heals, as I'm currently three days post procedure. I highly recommend!!

I took the 2-day training course here and it was AWFUL! I had to end up paying thousands more to…read moreget trained by someone who knew what they were doing. I will be reporting this school and artist to the state board.

I saw this place on Groupon and thought the price was too good to be true - seems I was right…read more Joi (the artist) was very nice, but the overall experience was not professional. I did a LOT of research on microblading before booking my appointment with her, and I was so excited for the week leading up to my appointment. When I got to the salon, I filled out some paperwork and read through all of the papers, and noticed some were word-for-word copied off the pages I had read online whilst researching the procedure. She then began hand drawing an outline of my brows with a pencil. This is where I started getting concerned, because the videos I'd watched all showed lots of tools and rulers being used to make sure your eyebrows were even and suited your face properly. She was merely "eyeballing" them, but I figured she must know what she's doing, as she had quite a few reviews on her booking website. She even mentioned that she prefers her clients draw the shape they want. I feel like a microblading artist should be the one to do that: measure where your brows should start and end, where they should curve, etc, because they should know what suits your face best. She then told me to lie on the table, and asked me about my pain tolerance level. I told her I wasn't sure, I'd never really had any procedures done before. She informed me that she does not use any anesthetic during the procedure. Okay... according to her website, she applies two different types of anesthetic before and throughout the procedure, to ensure the client is as comfortable as possible. I wasn't feeling comfortable at all at this point. She also informed me that most of her clients say the pain is "an 8 or 10" on a scale of 10. If you've done any research on microblading, most people say it's a 3 at most. I'm not sure what technique she is using, but I don't think it's correct. I informed her I was not comfortable and left. Overall, she just seemed very unsure of her capabilities from the way she spoke. It almost felt like she was trying to get rid of me. Granted, I am very picky about my brows, but this is not the experience I expected for a semi-permanent procedure on my face.
