I checked in with a text message and they also have a kiosk inside where you can check-in if you don't have the text message. Phlebotomy Technician Emma came out to greet me within 1-2 minutes of my arrival. She was kind, courteous, and most-importantly- knowledgeable. She had me enter the examination room and have a seat, ran my information and confirmed it all with me, then she asked "are you ready?" I responded, "I don't know. I'm not really sure what we're doing. This will be my first time doing this kind of thing." She explained everything to me and let me know she was going to draw blood. Immediately, I let Emma know that each time I've ever had blood drawn, I have always passed out. Instead of dismissing this, she asked if I would prefer a lying down position during the procedure. I told her, "yes, because I don't want you to have to catch me". We both chuckled, then she explained that they don't catch people here. She showed me to a reclining chair and had me lay down with an ice pack behind my neck. She said the ice pack helps. She also continued conversing with me as we went about the procedure and we talked about how my first time having blood drawn I ended up face-first in a trash can because no one knew it was going to happen and how most of the people that pass out due to blood draws in this office are male. I thought that was really interesting! She also noted that most of the time, the ones that DON'T say anything until afterwards are men who are tattooed up! We both surmised that it must be because they're embarrassed to say anything - especially since this office is mostly comprised of women. Nevertheless, she had me transition slowly to standing up. She checked in with me, watched my color, and made sure I was feeling before sending me on my way. PT Emma was top-notch in my opinion! My visit here was the first time a medical professional took me at my word and even believed me- taking steps to help me not have to pass out! If I could give this office 10 stars, I would! 10/10 service!

Here however I've been going since I moved to Atlanta in 2019 and LOVE them. The front desk is always super nice and understanding and makes you feel welcomed. I've met with three different doctors and they all made me feel more than comfortable. The location is prime and the facilities are clean enough to eat off of. The parking isn't confusing and is FREE. I love them here and look forward to keeping them as my primary care physicians as long as I live in Atlanta.

He referred me to a gastroenterologist and I had a cancerous tumor removed. I was also treated by a cardiologist for heart disease. This past month at my annual wellness check Dr. Chang discussed personal quality of life treatments with me and I was prescribed medicines and returned three weeks later to his office to follow up on these prescriptions medicines actually helping me. Dr. Change is very thorough and careful to explain any question I asked. I recommend Dr. Chang and his nursing staff and front office staff were polite and helpful to me even securing a last minute GoodRX peescription. Beware of Pelorus Upon our arrival to meet the inspector…read more He had already gone through most of the home. We asked how things were and his exact words the home is very clean, No issues from what he could see I ask about specific items and again No issues. It's a really good home. Here is what happened next.... We trusted this company to provide a thorough and professional evaluation of the home prior to purchase, but unfortunately, several serious issues were not identified in their report. Most notably, we discovered a rodent infestation in the attic, which poses both health and structural risks. (Rats & Flying Squirrels)This issue should have been clearly visible and documented during the inspection process. The presence of droppings, signs of nesting, damaged and chewed electrical wires and insulation. No mention in the inspection. We recognized Pelorus is not the expert with regard to rodents but we would expect any basic full home inspection would at least call out what was visible to the eye. There were also several active entry points for Rats, Squirrels, bats and other wild life, that were apparent upon further review by a pest control specialist. And our own eyes. In addition to this, we have identified other hazardous conditions that were not called out in your report: 1. Electrical Panel Risk? The panel was flagged by 2 different licensed electrician as insufficient and not in code due to 1. its history of recalls & a serious fire hazard, due to not having a surge protection or tripping feature. This inevitably will cause the unit to run "hot" and cause a potentially dangerous situation. This was a significant safety concern that should have been noted. 2. Master Bathroom Tub Not Sealed or mounted to Floor. This is very dangerous in that it is easily movable and could cause an accident while attempting to take a bath. This is a basic item that should have been observed and reported. Their reputation to provide "Certified & KnowledgeableInspectors" was not what we received. We trusted that they would stand by their brand & make this right. These oversights caused us considerable inconvenience and unexpected expenses. We trusted & relied on your expertise to assist us in making an informed decision about the property. However, the lack of attention to these critical issues has undermined our confidence in the home that we have purchased. We requested a formal response to the complaint, including an explanation of how these items were missed and what steps their company will take to address this matter. We also asked that they review their inspection procedures to prevent similar oversights in the future. We provided several photos for review. We had planned to make some small non structural changes to the home and then move in.... Well as we got into a few areas this is where these issues became blatant. We invited Roland out to the home to take a look at our concerns, he came out and spent the entire time looking for an opportunity to turn this story around and report us to the city inspector. Roland called me to not apologize for the oversight but to say I see your construction is larger than I expected. Send me a copy of your permit otherwise I will report you to the city. As noted earlier no plans for structural changes. They came out we showed our basic work and permits for replacing plumbing and Electrical only. Roland then sent a letter essentially giving us an opportunity to sign off on receiving $150 refund in exchange to sign off on dropping any further or future claims. Of course we did not agree. I'm not sure how they received 5 rating on google, my guess is folks just don't have time to bother with this fight. It's taken us at least 4-5 months to share our experience. I would definitely not recommend this company.

We had an unfortunate experience with this inspection company. We purchased a home that was…read morerenovated by the seller just prior to listing. After we moved in, we discovered by chance that the upstairs hall bathroom was still connected to the old plumbing system and had not been connected to the new plumbing system that was installed during the renovation. Luckily, one day after closing on this house, our exterminator was inspecting the crawlspace at the same time that the cleaners were running the hall bathtub and found the water to be gushing into our crawlspace (see photos). We notified the inspector and seller, who was able to send their contractor quickly to repair the issue. The inspector, Jack, was professional during our inspection but missed this abandoned pipe in our crawlspace and the water that would have gone directly into the crawlspace if he had run the bathtub. Unfortunately, this company is calling this a "latent defect" and denies our request for a refund of the $500 inspection fee. It is the responsibility of the inspector to check at a minimum that when a bathtub is run, the water is not draining directly into a crawlspace. We are super disappointed in the company's response as they are not taking ownership of this blatant miss and using fine print to avoid responsibility. My hope is that this does not happen to someone else who may not be as lucky to catch this huge issue so quickly!

I've been aware of self-scheduling self-pay MRIs for a few years now, but this was the first time…read moreusing it. On the plus side, it was simple to use and easy to get a quick appointment. The scan itself produced good images and came with an accurate interpretation from a radiologist. But while I got the results that I needed, I don't think that this service is the right fit for everyone. It was super easy to schedule. They have an online scheduling form, and it was also easy to get a next day appointment (I don't think a lot of people are using the service). I paid a $50 deposit toward a $499 scan and paid the balance when I arrived. You can choose to pay an additional $100 to have an explanation attached. You get an official radiologist interpretation either way, so I assume that someone breaks down the medicalese for you. I didn't opt for that. The scan was about what I expected it to be. I do have some concerns about the MRI tech. From a customer service standpoint, she was not at all welcoming and did not introduce herself. The office was obviously set up to be customer service oriented, with a coffee bar and drink refrigerator and cups of chocolates. She didn't offer any of the amenities and even tried to hide the bowl of chocolate behind her counter. From a patient safety perspective, she also did not make any effort to go through the screening questions that determine whether it's safe for you to have the MRI or not. MRIs are safe from a radiation standpoint, but can be really dangerous because there are incredibly powerful magnets involved. In fact, there was a recent highly publicized case of someone being killed in an MRI scanner. I filled out an online questionnaire, but if I had not understood the questions, and made a mistake, she didn't make any efforts to clarify it. But she did the scan and the machine made all the expected cacophony that MRI machines make. She sent me away with a CD of the images and I had an official interpretation in my email box about four hours later. I also had my orthopedist cousin review the images and the interpretation. He felt that the images are adequate (so it's not a "stripped down" version of a real scan) and the interpretation was thorough. It did leave out a lot of the technique that I'm used to seeing (I'm also a physician, but not orthopedist), but I'm sure that most of you don't care about that anyway. So my feeling is that the walk in MRI definitely can have a useful place. If you're anxious to have an answer and it's impacting your decision-making (mine was whether I could safely continue to play soccer despite the pain), and you're willing to pay for it (in my case, if I'd waited for insurance to approve it, it'd have been next year anyway, and probably would have cost more if I hadn't met my deductible yet). As a physician, I would *not* personally recommend the total body scans that they offer for people with no symptoms of any abnormality.

Either way, he was polite. The tech, however was AWESOME! She was very knowledgeable about the process and calming in her explanations. She provided music in my headphones and gave me updates through the process. I made my appointment with a rep. versus online, however, it appears either would have been more than sufficient. The website was very clear in scheduling appointments. No surprises, no medicalese....simple and fast. They gave me the disc when I left and I got my results by around noon! I'd recommend to anyone who needs this service. To be clear, without the contrast, you may not be able to catch miniscule injuries, HOWEVER, I was super surprised that they were able to pick up mine. I feel empowered having this information. Without this....lol....I would have sworn my knee died and was taking the rest of my leg with it! Thank you First Look MRI, Chamblee....(PS.
