I came to Quest today to get blood drawn for an allergy test. Usually, it's check-in and wait for 30 minutes before being seen at OTHER places, but not here! I checked in with a text message and they also have a kiosk inside where you can check-in if you don't have the text message. Phlebotomy Technician Emma came out to greet me within 1-2 minutes of my arrival. She was kind, courteous, and most-importantly- knowledgeable. She had me enter the examination room and have a seat, ran my information and confirmed it all with me, then she asked "are you ready?" I responded, "I don't know. I'm not really sure what we're doing. This will be my first time doing this kind of thing." She explained everything to me and let me know she was going to draw blood. Immediately, I let Emma know that each time I've ever had blood drawn, I have always passed out. Instead of dismissing this, she asked if I would prefer a lying down position during the procedure. I told her, "yes, because I don't want you to have to catch me". We both chuckled, then she explained that they don't catch people here. She showed me to a reclining chair and had me lay down with an ice pack behind my neck. She said the ice pack helps. She also continued conversing with me as we went about the procedure and we talked about how my first time having blood drawn I ended up face-first in a trash can because no one knew it was going to happen and how most of the people that pass out due to blood draws in this office are male. I thought that was really interesting! She also noted that most of the time, the ones that DON'T say anything until afterwards are men who are tattooed up! We both surmised that it must be because they're embarrassed to say anything - especially since this office is mostly comprised of women. Nevertheless, she had me transition slowly to standing up. She checked in with me, watched my color, and made sure I was feeling before sending me on my way. PT Emma was top-notch in my opinion! My visit here was the first time a medical professional took me at my word and even believed me- taking steps to help me not have to pass out! I cannot say enough good things. I have a serious fear of blood draws and have been avoiding doing one for years. I made an appointment and the moment I checked in, they took me back. Emma and Antoine were the ones who took care of me and they did a fabulous job. It was the most painless draw I have ever had and they were seriously so kind. I couldn't find a way to see my results online on QD website. It was very hard to find a way to talk to a person using phone provided. Account creation system was asking me for verification, and it took me numerous attempts to figure out that I need to enter not only mobile phone, but a home phone number (I don't have one, entered mobile there) to get the form submitted. Finally, when I got it, it requires to use phone camera, but currently my phone camera does not work, so I had to use someone else's phone to complete account verification. Overall, web site and phone systems are not user friendly. Please re-think your web design and your automated answering system. It unnecessarily takes a lot of time and nerves to figure out what we need. read more

I just had the best experience at Quest. Emma and Quincy took the best care with me. They kept me laughing and I didn't even feel the needle prick. I HATE needles, but having an autoimmune disease requires a lot of pricks thru out the year. I'd def come back to them for my next draw. read more

By far the most incompetent, most apathetic, group I have ever seen. Computer down and it's like they could not function. Rather than trying to help and solve issue they blamed the fact they couldn't find even paper to print. Should close this down. We've been to this location twice now, both for blood draws for my son for his allergy testing. Blood draws for a kid are never going to be fun, but the experience here has been easy and pleasant both times. We arrive in the afternoon, shortly before closing. We have our paperwork in hand as the doctor has already called it in to the system. We check in and wait less than 5 minutes to be called. The phlebotomist is calm and patient and good at working with children, especially considering this isn't a children's facility. Efficiently and calmly the blood gets drawn with distracting conversation and coaching. Once the sample is collected and tagged that's it. My only gripe would be that my son and his skin don't appreciate the paper tape - a bandaid would be nicer. On our last visit, we were in and out in less than 20 minutes, so we didn't even have to pay for surface parking. read more

Good lab people but HORRIBLE billing issues !!! Be careful on your insurance info! The people in the lab are very nice and fast to help you. There are no issues with the lab but the billing is horrible !!! The customer service at this place is even worse. I would contact your insurance company to get the referral to which lab they want to use and be sure the lab they use files billing claims correctly. I hate having to call places and talk for hours to get a bill corrected. read more

There are several Quests in these buildings, so if one has a line, you MIGHT be able to go to another IF your tests can be done there. This one is similar to the others with not so perky employees who missed my name on the list and managed to skip me until I walked back up. The gal had no explanation on why there were three names highlighted after mine, but not mine. Importantly, the blood draw went well (which is better than some places) and that is the part that counts, so they get some stars. read more

this company billed me over 448.00 for lab work that the dr failed to get approval on. And insurance refused to pay. I had to pay it to keep from going to collections. I would never have agreed to have this blood work done if i had been told of these charges. I will never allow quest diagnostic to run any blood work in the future and I will be firing the dr that ordered these test without first getting approval from the insurance company. This review is for quest diagnostics on Peachtree overall I had a good experience. And the phlebotomist that took my blood was awesome. Her name is Lexi. She was not only friendly professional efficient but was able to quickly draw my blood which is not easy I have small veins that move. I was extremely impressed with her skills and professionalism. Man, I don't know C.H is talking about. This is probably the first and only time I have EVER had blood drawn that it was professional, fast, efficient, and absolutely painless. My veins are nigh impossible to find. Everyone who's ever drawn my blood, from Red Cross blood drives, to doctors, have always told me it's hard to find my veins. I've never had an experience where people didn't have to stick me over 4 times to try to find a vein, and where it didn't wind up hurting like hell during and after the blood drawing to the point where I had limited function in my arms. I booked my appointment over the phone. That's the one part I absolutely HATE. Their phone message system is so inconvenient and slow. That being said, I booked it for 12:15, showed up early, and the woman saw me a little before noon. I can see why C.H. said they're under staffed. There didn't seem to be a lot of people working there, but I went at around noon on a Thursday, and it was perfectly fine. The young woman who drew my blood was respectful, fast and professional. She didn't waste time humming and hawing with paperwork like service that I typically get. She quickly put my info through the computer to print the labels, checked with me to make sure the information was correct, and got right to work. It didn't take her a whole minute to find a vein, and the needle insertion was practically painless. I didn't feel it in my arm after it went in. That's how it SHOULD be done! And just like that, it was over. In and out all before my scheduled time. I had a completely opposite experience than C.H., so I recommend you give them a shot and judge for yourself. I'm going to say that they've listened to the comments here because my experience was above average. I got there around 3:30 and it was empty. Within seconds someone showed up at the front desk and greeted me. It was maybe 2 minutes later they called me back. And here's where the trouble started - my paperwork was a mess - the doctor was wrong, I was a male according to the form (I'm a girl!) etc etc. The nurses/techs there discussed, it didn't look good for me.... I was like PLEASE let this sort out. One of the ladies hopped on the phone, related the discrepancies (in a tone that said this isn't a big deal) and BOOM! she had authorization to get my job done. She entered the correct data into the system and fixed the problem instead of passing it bacck to me. They really could have just said come back when you've gotten your paperwork sorted but instead they really did everything they could to make it happen. That's going above and beyond. BONUS: I wish I had gotten her name but the blood draw was painless- and I don't meant figuratively, I mean the nurse there had a feather touch I didn't even feel the needle! I actually had to look at my arm to see the needle because I didn't feel a thing. Even w/ my paperwork issue, I was in and out of there in about 15 minutes. Courteous, helpful and efficient. Dreadful. I made an appointment and still waited an hour. They have a screen which shows wait times -- it never showed me having more than a 10 minute wait. Other people, including walkins were getting skipped ahead of me. VERY frustrating! read more

Nice and bright, friendly staff. Phlebotomists go out of their way to help at this location. I won't go anywhere else!! Would be nice to have all Quests input faxed orders so I don't have to drive from building to building looking for the right location. read more

The employees that work here are awful. After waiting a week for an employee, I waited 15 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk. There were no patients in the back, so not sure what the three employees were tied up with. As I was trying to fnd my confirmation number, one person started listening to voice mails on the speakerphone at the front desk. (There were 50 new messages!) The employees were then commentating about why these people were leaving these messages. (Because it is your job to handle patients/customers!) The employees need to take some pride in their job or to find a new line of work that does not involve directly interacting with any customers or patients. read more

I've already written one review that was apparently removed. This Quest Diagnostics does not care about customer service at all. I've used this location about 5 times and have never seen more than 1 employee working both the intake and drawing labs when they have 3 blood draw rooms in the facility. Each patient seems to take at least 10 mins and the small waiting area which seats maybe 8 or 9 is always full so you can always bet on a loooong wait. My waits have always been longer than my wait to see the physician that orders the blood work even with an appointment. I have written to them on the feedback section on their website complaining of the long waits in one of the busiest medical office complexes in the area. read more

Rude Rude Rude. They certainly do not value their clients nor do they make any effort towards customer service. It is nearly impossible to get someone on the phone and they seem to have a difficult with simple tasks (such as pulling up a valid client ID before turning a way a candidate reporting for a drug screen). Additionally, when you do get someone on the phone, the only response is "well I didn't do that, you will have to call when the other person is here". So I replied, do you have a better number or can you have this person call me? and the response was "no I can't, you will have to call when they are here". read more

This place and the overall corporate customer service are Terrible! My daughter had labs drawn in March that they erroneously put under my name. We got a bill stating it was in my name. Worked with insurance co to get it fixed in April and they paid $1500 in my daughters name. We were told by MD they would only call if labs were abnormal. Fast forward to June where I asked her pediatrician about the results. They never got them so I asked neurologist who ordered them. They never got them either. Upon investigation Quest never switched the lab results into my daughters name. They sure made sure the billing side was fixed to get their money! It is now July and both myself and the doctors office has called the customer service line many times trying to resolve this issue. We still don't have the results as it will take 5 days to change the name. Or so we were told. Twice. So that's 10 days now. Not holding my breath. Also, let's hope when they do finally come in nothing is wrong because we have missed 4 months of time to treat if so. read more
