Absolute worse customer service. Wait time is horrific and some patients seem to get preferential treatment and processing. I came in at the same time as another walk in. She asked how long because she needed to be out soon and she was taken back almost immediately. I waited an additional 40 mins and when asked was told another 15 minutes. I was assigned to this location for a pre-employment urine drug screen and blood TB test. I showed up as a walk-in initially and it was a 2 hour wait, so I made an appointment for the following day. My appointment was at 11am, however I didn't get called back until 11:45am. They require a LOT of urine for the urine sample and I wasn't able to provide as much as they needed, so they said to return to the waiting room, drink water, and let them know when I was ready and I would be called back right away. I drank 8 cups, let them know at 12:45pm and then wasn't called back until 1:15 (almost peed my dang pants waiting). They then had no record of me needing my bloodwork, despite it being on the order, and said they weren't able to do it. They were friendly, but they need more staff as it's too busy of a location to fill the needs of everyone coming in. read more

The front desk gave me a kit to collect a specimen and told me I'd have to go home or to a business close by to use the bathroom to collect it and bring it back. I went to a hospital across the street. When I returned with the specimen, they refused to let me fill out the label there and told me I'd have to fill it out at home and take it to another location because we had had an unpleasant exchange of words. I made an appointment for my child online. We arrived on time and checked in at the kiosk in the waiting area. We were called back promptly. The nurse was professional and kind dealing with my nervous child. Overall the experience was great. I think the poor reviews are from patients who did not have appointments or appropriate lab orders from their doctors. The wait time is very long if you just walk in, and if your doctor didn't send the order, it ties up one of the techs trying to track it down by phone. Make an appointment and call ahead to verify your labs were ordered, and you will be fine here. read more

I would have rather driven to another state than go to this LabCorp location. I tried to be overly nice because everyone has bad days, but I have a feeling these employees are just miserable all the time. I only dealt with front desk girl and the actual phlebotomist, but I could not wait to leave the office. What a horrible group of humans who have no business interacting with the public. After reading the reviews, I was prepared for this to be an awful experience. But it ended up being a breeze. Made an appointment online, showed up on time, I was seen immediately, the nurse drew blood without any issue (and even made conversation to distract me), and I was out of there in under 10 minutes. We had registration issues (all our fault) but Raven was beyond helpful, understanding, professional and sweet. This review ONLY applies to the 10512 Park Road location in Charlotte NC. In 2024, I went there for a pre-employment drug screening. The lab technician was a bit chatty and he asked me a lot of personal questions about my spouse's last name, religion and other personal information. I thought it was really weird but I ignored it. However, I waited several weeks for the lab results so I could start my new job and never received anything. I contacted the HR department of my company and they called Labcorp. They were told that I was not in their system and they had no record of me even being there!! What saved me was that I had the "Chain of Custody" document that the male technician and myself signed the day I did the drug test! That proved I was there. But they still could not find my account or the test results. That guy completely deleted me from their system!! I then had to re-take the drug screening so I went to a different Labcorp. But I received No Explanation or apology as to WHY I was deleted from their system. That guy should have been fired. read more

My next customer engagement requires a drug test and this was the closest and most convenient location. My urine test was administered quickly and professionally. Check-in on the kiosk and not too much longer, my name was called. "Fill to this line and you have four minutes." Okay. Before starting my my new job, at a new company, I was required to complete a background check, which included a visit to Labcorp. I decided to make an appointment online, so I didn't have to worry about a line in the morning, or too long of a wait, because we all know sometimes there are no reasons for appointments. Needless to say once I arrived I checked in at a kiosk in the waiting room and within 5 minutes my name was called, sweet! I needed to be fingerprinted, an easy process, right? It somewhat was, but the individual who assisted was definitely annoyed, probably hates his job, and could not get it right. Luckily for me, although it wasn't fun, no issues with the fingerprinting so I didn't have to go back. Unfortunately most people come here for a reason, so it is what it is, just know you are in and out, but it isn't a pleasant experience. read more

Visited this location to do a drug screen before I started a new job. I went first thing in the morning. Unfortunately everyone had the same idea as me. So at 7:55, there were about 20 people waiting outside of the door by the time I exited my car to make my way in. At 8am, the door still had not been unlocked, but at 8:05 the door opened and everyone filed in (mostly in order of arrival). There's this really bad system where you have to check into a kiosk before you approach the window. There are two kiosks, but located in a way where you don't see them when you enter.... you just see the window. The kiosk scan's your drivers license and you are placed in the queue. Once your name is called, you have to present the lab order (luckily mine was emailed to me by my future employer). Some people weren't as lucky so they had to sit up there and give out their name/information all over again. The staff were nice enough, but you can tell they don't really like their jobs. The way the door opened late, and I saw some laughing behind the window while we all filed in like cattle. There was some pleasure in the way the person told people to check in at the kiosk... almost as it if was their fault they didn't see them placed behind the front door. Overall, glad I only have to visit this place once. Having to lock up my belongings and pee in a cup doesn't make for a very glamorous morning. read more

Call me crazy but I think it would be common courtesy to contact customers who had appointments previously scheduled instead of letting them drive to the facility and read the note on the door. Awesome job by this young team at getting people signed in and cared for. You can do automatic kiosk to sign in, then the receptionist will call you up and take your order and co-pay. The receptionist explained that they will bill 100% to your insurance, then within 8-10 days you should get your copay recredited to your card if they cover the expense. Cody drew my blood and was extremely efficient. I'm usually jumpy but I hardly felt it going in. I'm going to need monthly blood draws and will be going back to this location! read more

The second time, it was still fast, but one of the older male workers didn't have a sense of humor and seemed bothered by my presence. He lightened up at the end, but not the best experience. STAY AWAY FROM ALL LABCORP BUSINESSES IF YOU ARE GETTING YOUR BLOOD DRAWN. Severe injury occurred in arm after woman who performed blood draw blew out my vein and entered in twice. If you research LabCorp there are MANY lawsuits of similar injuries. I had to go to he ER and now have partial numbness and pain in arm and hand. I've never had any issues with hospitals or doctor offices, these people are NOT properly trained, they go to very poor "schools". The staff at the Park Rd location were super nice but also super slow and it was not busy when we were there. This review though is about the company's billing practice. My daughter had labs taken in February 2018. Their billing submitted to our insurance and I didn't hear anything until last week, November 20, 2018 (bill dated 11/17/18). I received this first bill from them, stamped in multiple places with "Past Due Notice". I then spent 3 days going through my filed papers, reviewed all checks written for bills since March, and reviewed any other possible methods of payment because I had either received this bill previously and paid it, meaning this bill was a mistake, or never got a bill. I've had other medical bills due and have promptly paid them all. I called and spoke to someone at LabCorp who was nice. She claims they sent me a bill last month which, as I said, we never got. I asked about the "past due" and she said it was standard. I don't dispute the charges but if you look on the Better Business Bureau website, you'll see many billing related complaints including others who got their first ever bill labeled with Past Due. When you get a bill labeled boldly as Past Due but you've never seen a previous bill, it feels like harassment. read more

Unfortunately I wasn't aware of the hours for drug screening because no one answered the phone. But the guy at the front desk was super nice. My problem was with the nurse in the back. I could hear her from the front talking about "oh no. I usually cut them at 12:25pm. They know better than to be coming last minute." First of all , I just wanted a drug test for my job. It literally took 2 mins to complete. The hours stated on the front door are til 12:30pm. Lady if you don't like your job. Go home. You don't have to be so nasty. She was extremely rude.
