I was treated with dignity and concern and she was able to answer all my questions, taking time to explain lung function and what does and does not target solutions. I have seen three Urgent Care doctors this month for the same problem, only to be given a new RX and sent on my way quickly. Dr. Schwartz is not only intelligent, but wise as well- and that's what patients need- not just the obligatory twelve minutes and send you out the door. It takes wisdom as well as intelligence to fully help a patient with a chronic condition, so thank you Dr. Schwartz for taking real time in assessing my problems and giving me solutions. During the first appointment I received a lecture for knocking on the door (to ask a question) a few minutes before my scheduled appointment. The place was empty! I had a stool sample to return by a specific time but I had to schedule an appointment. I explained to her there were no appointments available and the time frame to submit the stool sample would expire. Her reply...you have to make an appointment to drop it off!!! Such a waste of TIME. I'm traveling to get the test completed in CA to avoid her pathetic demeanor. This individual represents Quest Diagnostics, it's apparent Quest Diagnostics doesn't really care about the services they provide. It appears that they are saturated with business and can treat customers as a number rather than treating sick people with any humanity. Do yourself a favor and drive to CA to avoid this utterly poor care.

That is when their problems and discomfort really began. After interacting with the staff and physicians at this organization I am much more confident that there is good health care to be found in Southern Oregon. I and my friend have learned more about cancer, its' treatment and what to expect from said treatment from the nurses here than from any other person or resource available. They treat their patients with a kindness, compassion and consideration that I have never, ever seen before. Truly amazing people treating even more amazing people. The doctors are thorough and professional. They take time to make sure all their patient's questions are answered (you just have to know what to ask!) Brought to the Asante Health System by OHSU in 1999, it is a regional resource for basic and clinical cancer research into new methods of diagnosis and treatment. It is also the state's only cancer center designated by National Cancer Institute of the NHI. Humble: The feeling one experiences upon entering Hematology Oncology Associates PC in Medford, OR. I have been trying to call for a week, I finally get ahold of Alyssa today after multiple attempts and voicemails over the span of 7 days. My ferritin has been a 5 (At its highest) since November of 2025. It's continuing to worsen. My HCT levels are dropping and so are my red blood cells. I am unable to care for my small family as I used to or even work properly. It has caused a heavy strain on my mental health as well as my physical health and no one seems to care or try to listen to me. I am tired, I want to just give up completely. what is the point to fight for a better quality of life, or a life at all (since I can barely participate because I get faint by standing) if im going into debt anyway? If the medical professionals themselves will not listen or see me? If the staff are going to treat me as though I'm bothering them by trying to get an appointment. yes, I'm tired, but I try to be graceful and understanding. However. that's just it. I'm tired.

Please take this review as a word of caution against signing up for this company's $40/month urgent…read morecare plan. The terms of this plan were poorly communicated and some rather important things were left out in the employee's description of it. I was informed when first signing up that I had to opt into 6 months of payments in order to sign up, which I agreed to. However, I was not clearly informed of the following information. First, they did not explain that this plan only covers 3 visits in a year. Therefore, if you visit more than 3 times in one year, your discounts are basically void, despite still paying them $40 a month. Secondly, I was not informed that it is also policy that if you visit more than twice in a year with this plan that you will be opted in for a SECOND 6 months, basically trapping you into a full year of paying for the monthly service, which again only grants you 3 visits in said year. Granted, these visits are at a discount, but you will still be paying out of pocket on top of your mandatory 12 months of $40/month. Out of the 2 visits I had this year, one was about $25, and the other was over $200. You still never know what the costs of different checkups/procedures are going to be, unless asking up front before your doctor even looks at you. Paying $40 for 12 months comes out to $480 total, which basically tells you that you will be paying that chunk of change for 3 doctors visits a year, a completely variable amount out of pocket on top for each visit, and a completely inescapable monthly payment. One last condition they have in this plan is that on top of all of this, even if you did try to opt out of paying the remaining of your years worth of $40 payments (which they communicated to me was completely possible), you would be charged for the full amount of what your 3 yearly visits would have cost before their discount. The bills for my 2 visits originally came out to just about $1,000, before the discount. Sure, I saved money from this plan, but I have still been roped into paying almost $700 (including the monthly payments + the additional cost of each visit) in a year for 2 visits that were not intensive procedures, nor were they emergencies. Also, while these terms were likely described in the paperwork I received for signing up, I feel like it's not too much to ask for these few highly important details to be communicated up front before someone signs up. It all feels like information is purposefully left out to convince a person in need to subscribe to this service, without knowing what they're fully getting into. I absolutely regret giving any money to this company. The health care workers that assisted me were nothing but helpful, but I have lost all respect to Valley Immediate Care as a whole and will be canceling my mandatory yearly membership at the end of the cycle.

It was all really well made and decorated but I wish it was darker in there and scarier. I also wish it was self guided a little more with scary staff popping in through out to scary you and move you along. They have live entertainment and a food truck while you wait, but the lines can get long so come earlier. At it's current level, I think kids that are a lot younger can definitely go through without a problem. I will probably go next year just because it's something halloweenish to do and it's well made. I would never go twice in one year though.
