You have to do better LabCorp, the face of the front desk is the face of your company. The attitude at the front desk is the attitude of the company. We arrived at this location with given hours on the email print out for a drug screening. The said hours on Wednesday on the printout were 9 to 2 after searching for the building and the suite for about 10 minutes we walked to the door. The door stated that drug screenings ended at 11 when we went in to see if they would accept my school, aged daughter for a work drug screening we were turned away when I suggested to the man working the front that they should update their forms. He stated that the form was an old form, even though the email was printed out the day prior. I was met with attitude and was given a sheet with the new hours on it, and when I suggested again that it should be updated so people don't miss school. He said that it is updated on the door. We drove down there. I took my child out of school to be met with an attitude because I was stating they should update their information. I'm sure we are not the only ones that have wasted our time driving down there to be turned away, based on their forms, not being updated, I understand, and I even stated to the man that I understood it wasn't his fault but for him to get Caddy with me for saying they should update their information is unacceptable Having a print out pushed in my face after already being there was rude. read more

This facility has been closed since mid November due to staffing issues. However, the system still allows you to make an appointment. It was supposed to be open last week by isn't supposed to be open until sometime in April (maybe). This location is right across the street from me, the next closest one is over 20 minutes away. I ended up going to the Mesa location & wasted 1 hr & 30 min to get labs drawn. Pretty ridiculous read more

I needed to do some routine blood work and I was amazed at the phlebotomist Sean got me in one stick! Since I moved to AZ I never had a phlebotomist get me the first time; for they are very few and far between. Not this time! Jimely took care of my check in, orders, and other paperwork and she was wonderful. The place was clean, spacious, and organized. I definitely recommend this place if you need routine labs and if your insurance covers this place. Super satisfied with my experience and I'm glad I shared. read more

Timeframes don't match with what is listed when you select this location to get specimens taken, the times don't match the door either, and if you show up 2 minutes before the time ends they'll still refuse to take you. Front desk girl is also not friendly at all. read more

This is the absolute worst LabCorp office. If it's close to you, drive the extra distance. They don't have enough chairs for those waiting. The room is large enough to pit many more seats. But they only have seating on the perimeter. I had an appointment for 9:30. I arrived 10 minutes early but had to drive around the complex to find the place. It was not in the building with 2730 marked in it. I was able to find a parking place but it was next to some grass. While I was in the sprinklers came on and left water marks in my car. Sprinklers should be aimed at the grass, not the cars. I waited 40 minutes standing in the room. Who knows how long I would have had to stand waiting if I had not made an appointment. I have had blood work done at other locations of LabCorp many times. All good experiences. I will not use this location again. read more

I got sent here for a drug test by my doctor because of a medicine she wanted to prescribe me. It's one of those paces where you walk in and the staff acts like you walked into their house in the middle of the day.... like they're angry and confused that you're there (??). They didn't have the sanitizing wipes in the bathroom that you're supposed to use to get a clean catch so I asked for one and the lady looked at me like I asked for a glass of chilled sauvignon blanc. Then they filed my insurance incorrectly and tried to charge me $426.30 for a ten-panel drug screen, something you can buy at Walgreen's for under $50. Impressive. read more

Update: I told the rep I didn't want any tests that Medicare wouldn't cover and he said "no problem" and had me sign paperwork. Totally five stars: this LabCorp location is a model for the entire medical community to follow. I had my blood drawn for a number of tests. I walked in at approximately 8:30 AM and was able to register by scanning my drivers license. Incredibly easy. Then, I braced myself for a long wait as a "walk-in." Only 20 minutes later they called me for the blood draw. The gentleman drawing the blood knew his craft. That's what you want in a phlebotomist. And to top it all off, they put a proper compression wrap around the blood draw site, cheap labs just put a Band-Aid that does not put compression on the sight. LabCorp gave me every indication that they want to do things properly. read more

Over the past 2 years, I've probably had 35 blood draws at the south Val Vista Labcorp and I've never had a bad experience. Nicole ( I haven't seen her there for a while ) and Kelle always remember who I am and they bend over backwards to get me in and out as quickly as possible. I don't even bother with an appointment any more because I'm always out in a half hour or less. I highly recommend this office. read more

Blood test.........how exciting can this be??? My history,.......yes.....I'm a fainter! I have been down on the ground, passed out many times from getting my blood drawn. Lol I made my appointment online for 10:00am, and they called my name at 10:00am! Wow! On time? Is it possible? Maybe I got lucky. When going back behind the closed doors, I told them I'm 'one of those'. The technician told me they had a bed for me to lay on to make me comfortable. I went back to the room with the bed, made myself comfortable, and before I knew it, she had the needle in (I hardly felt it), and Bam! Done! She was awesome! This is not on my list of fun things to do. Being said, my experience here was alright. I will return to this location again. read more

Had a quick question, my doctor filled out a Sonora Quest form, can I take it to Lab Corp - and of course there is no way to speak to a human, just round and round through the robot phone system. I have been coming here for years and this is my last visit It has been going down hill for years despite its new location The employees are always disgruntled and complaining about their jobs, Yeah thats what you want is an unhappy needle ninja hunting for veins in your arm holding back their inner rage towards management! This time was really bad now instead of taking your info and letting you know a wait time they say go over to the kiosk and good luck! Judging by the 20 plus people packed into this room coughing and snorting like cattle and the poor ventilation it was gonna be a long miserable wait So I left and rescheduled elsewhere I cannot recommend this place and check the low star reviews everyone can't be wrong I guess there are not a lot of options and you are stuck with what's available for blood work just brace yourself and push through GOOD LUCK EVERYBODY! read more

We came with my 14 year old son and extensive labs for a chronic medical condition. Four pages of labs. Due to school schedule etc we came at 3:05. We were told we had to be there before 3:00 because he had SO many tests. Really? You're open until 4:00 and you need more than an hour to do this? Ok. My son was already psyched out for this and ready to go and we had to come back another day. So we went back the following day at 2:45. Here's the kicker: after telling us we had to get there early due to the extensive amount of blood, they only draw 5 tubes of blood! What an oxymoron! Which means he would have to go back FIVE TIMES to complete these orders. He is 14 years old, and 130 pounds. In the past he's had up to 19 tubes drawn, so this is their way of obviously making things very inconvenient for us so that we don't want to come back there. Plus if they were into going to draw five tubes why couldn't they do that at 3:05 the previous day??? We don't like getting these labs done anymore than they like dealing with complex patients. Yeah, I know it's a pain- but THIS IS YOUR JOB! I was a teacher for 14 years, and if I pulled any of this crap I would be held accountable. If I turned students away for extra help because they didn't allow a full hour to go over concepts, if I short changed them and messed with them on purpose so they wouldn't want to come back, I would be held accountable ... shame on this establishment! January drew his blood. She was ok. But you'd think she would let the desk know that a 130 pound 14 year old can handle more than 5 tubes of blood so we don't have to come back 5 times. I went here for some bloodwork today. I went up to the front to ask a quick question... the front desk just looked at me in an annoyed way and said, you have to check in at the kiosk. I said I had a question before I did that. She just looked upset that she had to actually talk with a human. Come to find out they would not do the kit draw I had called in about. I don't have a problem with that but a bad attitude when you are working in customer service is pretty weak. read more

I have been in and out (without an appt) in under 20-30 min and the technicians were awesome. Finding this office in the centre it's located is a show! Got there on time but spent 7 minutes trying to find the office. There is more than one "buidling #3." My 10:15 AM appointment was dwlayed by 45 minutes. They took others without appointments that showed up after me the same time they took me back to draw my blood. I asked the lady to not dig in my vein before she went in through my hand, but she did anyway. Not the best patient care. Getting blood drawn of course isn't fun, but it hurt worse than it should've. The one thing I did appreciate it that the waiting room; it looked clean, and offered plenty of seating. They insisted on taking my credit card for future payment in case my insurance didn't cover the full bill. I asked a second gal working and she said it wasn't a mandate, so I requested they get rid of my cc information, which they obliged and shredded the info. They also don't give you prior notice of the automatic debit/cc payment draw. This place just wants to help themselves, not the patients they are serving. But, my insurance covers me to visit here and I didn't have much of a choice for location. Hoping I won't have to make another visit here! read more

In the past two weeks, we had to visit this location twice. Both times I interacted with Rory at the front desk and both times she was friendly, enthusiastic, professional and accommodating. The other staff members were also friendly and helpful. To be honest, I'm not sure why there have been so many negative reviews, but I can see that most of them are at least a year old, so it's likely that the staff and management have undergone significant changes since then. My experience was excellent, we were in and out in minutes, and I would absolutely recommend this location if you have the option to "choose your lab." Keep in mind it can be a little tricky to find since it sits in a corporate office complex without much directional signage, but don't let that deter you. read more

Arrived at 1:35pm and was told to check in at a kiosk and after an error occurred at the kiosk the rude ass receptionist told us to just have a seat and someone would call us back, 30 minutes goes by and still are waiting in the front. upon asking what was taking so long the same receptionist said there was 1 person in front of us, it doesn't take 30 minutes to piss in a cup. interestingly enough, there was another patient in there having a completely different issue and was being faced with the same attitude and no urgency. I went and stood in line at 6:40 am. There were about 15 people in front of me. There were about 10 people behind me by the time they opened for business. Some people in front of the line waited with camping chairs. I called the day before and they told me Mondays and Fridays were their busiest days. They opened the door promptly at 7:00am. Parking is great at 6:40am. I tried to make an appointment but all the morning times were taken for the upcoming two weeks so I went and took my chances. The man on the phone told me it would take about an hour. We walked in single file they had three or four people helping out registering us in. They also had two people who called us up after we registered and took our paperwork. Everyone was nice. Can you imagine coming to work and seeking that line everyday? They have several rooms so the turn around time is not so bad. I'm sure they take the people with appointments on time. I was called in around 7:50? I was stuck in both arms because no blood came out from my first arm as I was dehydrated from fasting. She poked and spun the needle around and rotated it but no luck. I asked her to switch arms and my second arm was more generous. I was out of there by 8 am. The total experience was about an hour and a halfway. All in all not too bad. Also, I noticed that hardly no one walked in after 7:45ish. I think there is a mad rush before people go into work. They lady who took my blood, I think her name is Tony was super kind and friendly. They intake guy behind the counter was also really kind. read more

Clearly, anybody there is dealing with some type of illness and the last thing people need is her bad attitude. She needs to take her Sign about a bad attitude being like a flat tire, you don't get anywhere unless you change it, that sits right next to her and hit the road. The absolute worst place to have your blood drawn. Had a appointment, checked in at the kiosk and never was called up to the counter. After almost leaving, I asked the front desk, why do people make appointments? The lady then asked if I used the Kiosk, which I said yes, then she asked me if I saw a green check mark, and I said yes, then she asked me for my confirmation number, which I gave her off of my phone. Then she asked for my insurance information. Wouldn't you assume they would have copies of everything from the 1) Appointment on the computer, 2) my confirmation number, 3) My insurance information from the Kiosk, 4) My first and last name, 5) Stating that there was something wrong with the Kiosk in the same area as them. I will notify my doctor's office regarding my treatment, so that no one else goes through this, and I will not be returning to this establishment ever again. The woman who drew my blood was the best, to bad the two ladies in front counter could do their jobs like the actual person doing the work. If I had a choice of zero stars, this place would be in the negative. To bad Yelp doesn't send in an auditor and maybe clean up this place, because I feel sorry for the owner! read more

Horrible location. Team members are unfriendly and robotic. They act like you are an inconvenience to them. Phlebotomist drew my blood and placed the tubes in her lab coat. I wouldn't think this is a standard procedure when drawing blood. Great way to lose or contaminate the sample. Lab area is wide open with other patients and staff coming and going and no curtain and no privacy. read more
