HORRIBLE. I went online and picked an appointment time, I go through the hassle of checking in on their tablet and it has me up on the board for a walk-in. I tried to ask one of the staff about it and they just told me to sit and they'll call me. Now this was for routine bloodwork. I get in there and the individual helping me said that my doctor ordered a sputum test. I kept trying to explain to her that no it was for routine bloodwork. She got snippy with me, gets up, goes over to get the sample container, sticks it in a bag with a piece of paper and rattles off instructions how to do the test. Now this was after I was charged for the test. I got home call my doctors office and they confirm that it was for bloodwork it was not for a sputum test. So I just asked the doctor to send me a new order and I'll just find a better one to go to. read more

Save yourself from standing for an abnormally long time and go to another Labcorp office. There's no one to answer initial questions, not enough seats, and the wait is painfully long. read more

I'm not sure what type of screening these employees go through but it's clearly not a thorough one. I get routine bloodwork done MONTHLY that my insurance covers at 100%, because this incompetent employee wasn't sure how to properly enter in my insurance she tried to get me to give $150 off my credit card. I said absolutely not, you can have Labcorp bill me, I never have to give credit card information this is monthly bloodwork for me that is covered. She went back and forth with me and finally drew my blood (without payment OF COURSE). Then she proceeded to tie the tourniquet on my arm, and stick me, she pulled the needle out of my arm WITH THE TOURNIQUET STILL TIED and blood went everywhere. Because she was upset with me for knowing my insurance she completely was an asshole drawing my blood. Thankfully I'm not a person that gets weird about seeing blood but that could have been super traumatic for someone. I informed her that you're supposed to take the tourniquet off prior to pulling out the needle and she loudly said I've been doing this for 17 years, I know what I'm doing. Labcorp at Walgreens - Laboratory Testing Near Me - Glen Burnie, Maryland

Normally I have decent experiences at this labcorp but today was the worst experience I've had getting my blood drawn. Immediately I was snapped at for not scheduling my bloodwork at the correct time when I had no idea that it had to be done at a specific time and was told to call my doctor to confirm I could get the bloodwork done. Then in the middle of getting my blood drawn to test for stress levels, the Tech decided that then was a good time to tell me that I had to give a personal billing authorization of $150. Which immediately made me anxious because I've never had to give an authorization for that much money just to get my blood drawn. I understand that I needed to give that but to ask me for that while I still have a needle in my arm was extremely unprofessional. read more

The worst service I have ever seen! Sat for an hour to get my wife's meds, which, by the way, has just had a bone marrow transplant! I was told they were working on it and would be 3 mins on at least 2 times. Wouldn't have even gone to pick it up, but my wife received a message saying her prescription was ready.If you don't have to use Walgreens as we do due to being , which has the contract. Third time at this location. Routine bloodwork. Got there early, got seen early. Conveniently located inside the Walgreens. In the back of the store near the pharmacy. Opens at 7am I believe. All your insurance and info can be added online via the LabCorp site. They generate a QR code which you display on your phone and hold under a scanner to check in. *You must have your doctor order the blood test(s), you can't just roll up and get tests. Lol. read more

The first time I was there for bloodwork, it was done quickly and painlessly. But the second time the technician wasn't successful at drawing blood after two pokes and they didn't have pediatric needles on hand when I recommended they be used. I fasted for nothing. They couldn't even tell me what other location had pediatric needles. read more

This experience traumatized my daughter. We went to have blood work for an endocrine panel. The phlebotomist had only one butterfly needle in the entire office and of course she broke it before she could take blood from my daughter. Mind you, it was an early morning appointment and so two things are important. #1 they had my daughter's date of birth to know she was a child and her reason for coming and #2 we were the second appointment for that day so they clearly did not think to stock before seeing patients. I feel horrible as a parent for allowing her to be pricked with the adult needle and she is still traumatized. This labcorp is an extension of the horrible services that are provided at this location. They were unprepared and unprofessional. It's sickening that healthcare is where it is now. read more
