Very easy to find with a sign that says it's on the second floor of the Geisinger building. You self check in at the kiosk. Your name appears on the screen & when they're ready, they'll cal you in. Got there at 11:05. Had a 11:15 apt but they took me in at 11:10 and was put by 11:30. Extremely friendly staff who you can tell love their jobs! At 3:45 a woman came out and asked me if I was waiting for lab work & I confirmed that I was. She told me, "our last appointment is at 3:45pm. I explained that I had checked in prior to that time & she said "I just finished with the previous patient". I repeated that I had checked in before their closing time, and it wasn't my fault that the previous patient took longer, so I asked if she could just do my blood draw, given it WAS 3:45 precisely. She said, "no, I asked her and she said no". I don't know who her/she was, assuming the supervisor, but that's just poor customer service. At any establishment if you check in prior to the last appointment regardless if the previous person takes longer, protocol says you still take that person. I would understand if I had checked in at 3:46pm but I did not. I was so livid at how unfair the situation was that I just walked out. When I got in my car to leave at 3:46pm I got a message through My LVHN that I cancelled my appointment! Lehigh Valley has lost it's consideration for they're patients since becoming such a large corporate entity and it's very disheartening. I take care of my 87-yr old mother and it's usually hard for me to get away. I won't go there again.
