I have had some…read moreterrible experiences in the past but unfortunately have no choice as where exactly can one go their routine medical tests. This experience was actually pleasant. I came in today at 7:45 for an appointment I made online. I came in an quickly signed in through their electronic kiosk system.... super efficient and easy. I then paid for my lab tests and waiting to be called. What's interesting is that the tv actually tells you your place in line and an approximate amount of time you will wait. Wow that's good.... because now there is no question as to when you will be seen. When I went in I was quickly ushered into a seat and my phlebotomist drew out all the blood needed for the tests. I was amazed she got my vein on the first try and it actually didn't hurt. I have small veins and every time I have blood drawn, I get butchered.... constant stabs... pain.... it sucks. Then I have bruises on my arms for weeks. This phlebotomist kicked butt. If I need to do tests in the future I will return here.

On this day I arrived on an empty stomach for my lab work 20 minutes before their closing time, as advertised everywhere, which is 3 PM. Counting on the company's reputation and credibility, I trusted that they would be open at 2:40 PM. However, their advertised hours of operation is false. The check in kiosk was already closed and the door was locked. Having heard sounds inside the lab, I insisted and knocked on the door. While waiting for someone to open, a couple arrived behind me. They were shocked to find it closed, because they had been there exactly 20 minutes earlier and the phlebotomist had told them to return in 20 minutes, as they did. She opened the door and told the three of us that "they are instructed to close at 2:45 PM in order to clean the lab before closing." Then why did she instruct the couple to return in 20 minutes?? She stood her ground and turned us away. As a result, none of us will be going back to that nor to any other Labcorp lab. I do have a video, but prefer to share it only with Labcorp in order to protect the phlebotomist's and the couple's identities.

If I have to complain about something I would mention the reservation online service. When I try to make the reservation, he was asking me for information that I did not because it doesn't apply to my insurance. And you could proceed with using the online service. That needs to be reviewed to offer better service. So I did it old school. I picked up the phone and I called somebody and I have to tell you from that moment on everything went perfect. The reservation of the on the phone was extremely friendly and helpful. She did everything possible to make sure that I was taken care of in the timeframe I needed. She was extremely friendly courteous gave me options. Did everything for it possible to get it done for me. So she made a reservation at this location which is closest to my house. No, my reservation was on a Saturday at 9:30 AM. So I am expecting the worst. Possible experience with long wait times and I had to be fasting, so I was already ready in my brain for what was going to happen. The next thing I know is I'm sitting in my car ready to leave when I realized I was done. It literally took more time for me to find a parking spot (which there are plenty of parking available in front), removing my clothes for the test, putting on my clothes after the test, and walking out to my car. Then I did for registering having a test done and finish. From the moment I walked in everything was great. The front looked a little confusing, but that's not a bad thing. It's only because they're doing some construction to make the nicer. I walked to the registration talk to the young ladies, who are extremely helpful, polite courteous and friendly. From the beginning, it makes you relax in case you were nervous person, which I'm not, but I know many people are when it comes to medical procedures. So the young lady entered all my information and then asked me to go down the hall and sit in a mini lounge area in front of the CT room or the technician will get me. I was sitting there and when the technician finished with the person before me, who I literally saw park her car and walk in before me. He asked my name went into the office. He walked back in give me a glass of water and said come on in and I was inside the CT Room as he explained what he was going to do and asked me to get ready. He was extremely professional explained everything to get ready in a way that would make any at ease and in an extremely professional manner. When the technician finish, he told me I was done and I couldn't believe it. I've had a few CT scans done before, but this experience was unbelievable. As I'm getting ready to leave, I was saying to myself this technician was very experienced. Then I noticed a plaque in the room of excellent service for five years from 2013. It is 2023 now. So this technician has extreme knowledge of what he's doing and you can tell by the way he addresses you and Thu out the entire procedure. I have nothing but good things to say about this location and even if you have to drive out of your way to get a test done, I will go there also. I highly recommend it !
