Weird and unprofessional experience. I had my pregnancy glucose test scheduled for over a week and when I arrived (and already checked in) the guy at the front told me he needed more time for this test and he couldn't do it today..... you couldn't have told me that earlier? He said I needed to schedule it for earlier in the day which I completely understand but maybe call me the day before or morning of to let me know?? Also there is no way I'd want this guy near my veins with a needle so it's probably best I wasn't able to get my tests done. I visited the Labcorp Livermore location around 11:30 AM for a walk-in appointment. I drove about 35 minutes from Tracy to get there. After arriving, I was told that they do not accept walk-ins. I asked what the appropriate time for walk-ins would be, and I was told that I needed to come early. This was very disappointing, especially since I had taken time off work and spent nearly 90 minutes driving round trip. It would be helpful if the walk-in policy were clearly communicated so others don't experience the same inconvenience. read more

I want to give 0/5 stars. I have been to this location on a few occasions and the male staff member who unfortunately is always there was extremely rude and unprofessional, each time. He has a pattern of poor behavior as you can see from the other reviews on yelp. Stay away from this site. . I've done walk in at this site many times over the years to get my blood work done without any issues. The person that now runs this site is very obnoxious and rude to his customer. I needed blood work for a current doctors appointment. I knew this site took their lunch at noon. so I made sure to get there at 11:20am. When I arrived, there were no customers in the office I went to start to register with the online card reader and the man behind the counter with glasses said if you are getting blood work done I only take walk in's up till 9:00am and after 1:00pm. You need to read the sign on the front door. I said to him I've came in at 11:45 and you did blood work for me. He just ignored me got up and went into the back room while I was still trying to talk to him, so rude. I then tried asking him what time this site closed. No response. I then turned around and on the window it said 3:30pm. I had planed to get my tires balanced and rotated after I got my labs done. Sense now I have to wait to after 1:00pm. I decided to go now and get my tires rotated and come back after. So after the tires were finished I arrived back at the site at 2:45. There were other patients in the waiting room when I walked in. The gentleman looked up at me and I said hi I'm back to get my blood work. He rudely said to me 'I told you I only do walk in's after lunch from 1:00pm to 1:30pm. I said to him you never said that to me. He just ignored me after that with his rude behavior. I will never go to site again. I had to drive to Pleasanton Sutter Labcorp after that. I just barely got in there before they closed. This guy need To take an anger management course. I'm sure I will not be the last person to complain about this mans behavior. read more

Doctor ordered annual blood test for cholesterol etc. Scheduled appt, showed up on time. Waited 45 minutes before having the test taken. (!!!!) THEN I GET A $840 bill!!! No change in my insurance coverage, and I've done this for years with a nominal $40 fee. I fought that for a year, they kept changing the price and then re-billing upward again. Started receiving threatening emails and phone calls. In the end I ended up paying over $600!!!! There's nobody in billing interested in anything other than taking a payment. So NO MORE. The check in process was a joke bc my QR code didn't scan to check-in so I had to scan my ID instead. At that point I asked the guy if he could just check me in and he said no and insisted I must use the machine. My ID also didn't scan so I had to enter all of my information manually into the iPad. The guy up front was of no help as I was telling him how frustrated I was with the scanner and that it wasn't working. He also ended up being the phlebotomist. Smh. He was unfriendly and had a tinge of attitude with me. His remarks were snarky. Clearly he feels the need to one-up you on what you say. He seemed to be the only one in the office. Please put someone else up front with better customer service skills. Also on my way out, the main door was filthy and disgusting with questionable colors and nasty smudges. No one visits a lab for fun and if the person on front desk is rude, inconsiderate, inflexible and has aggressive behavior, he does not belong to the desk. I visited for a lab test today and my doctors office had told me that they had sent the order to lab. The front desk guy said he could not trace it. I just said that my doc has confirmed that the order was sent out and this person started repeating that he can't see it and he was getting aggressive for no reason. I stepped out as it was a very uncomfortable place and for a few seconds it felt that the person will hit me if I speak a word. Guy at front desk is rude, lacks compassion or any people facing skills. He's been there the last two times and it's not just a one off bad day. Just take a look at google reviews. I dared to ask a question when he told me I owed a payment for services for annual blood work. He got crappy and just said don't pay it you'll get a bill. Missing my question, what triggering the bill he tells me it's my co insurance, I know my plan and bloodwork for annual is covered. I said what are they billing me for, advised flip it over. It's not the money I can afford it but I also just toss money away. I said I'll just pay it and deal with insurance and then he state" you already cancelled that. " He does not like questions, feels superior to others for some reason . The gal that did my blood draw was great! Old staff was great, he needs to work in a back room without customer interface. I'll drive to Pleasanton next time. One star is only for the gal that did my blood draw. read more

Rude personnel. The LabCorp hours state they are open until 3:30pm. I got off work early and arrived at 2:30 as a walk-in. Used the kiosk to check in and sat down. There was one other person in the waiting room. At 2:36 the person at the desk calls my name and tells me he's not taking any more walk-ins today . I ask how a person is supposed to know when the cut-off time is. He says "they don't. I take walk-ins from 7:30 to 10 and 1-2:30, there's a sign on the door". I look at my watch again and it's 2:37. Remember, I checked in at 2:30. I looked at the sign when I left and it's a sign that looks permanently attached to the door. It says due to staffing issues they are no longer taking walk-ins. No mention of specific times. My issue is that online there is no mention of walk-ins not being welcome at certain times or at all, and LabCorp never answers their phones if you call. Appointments listed online are more than a week out. The employee was completely rude in the way he delivered his message. Zero empathy that someone may have completely altered their day to get there just to be turned away. I'm not even saying he should have broken his "rule" by 5 minutes, but he could have at least been kind about it. Worse experience than the DMV. read more

I guess you don't go to draw blood and expect a good experience, but it feels like this is a franchise. Low and behold, it is. They must have changed ownership, because the experience engaging with the personnel is far worse than the actual draw. I've been here three times in the last 18 months and the best part is walking out. Labcorp's website clearly says walk ins are welcome and appointments aren't necessary. This location has crudely printed signs that are posted on the door and above check in saying by appointment only. Having been here several times in the last three years, I recognize this is a newly imposed policy. I patiently wait for the lone worker to complete a draw and return to the front desk. He calls out my name and tells me I don't have an appointment. I agree and he lets me know there is NO WAY he can see me. I'm on my 15th hour of fasting and he tells me to make an appointment online for 1p. I ask if he can add me now, which he says no. I go online in the parking lot to pull up the appointment page, where again, I'm welcomed with "appointments aren't required, walk in welcome," only to find the next available appointment is 7 days from now in the middle of the day. This will be my third time with the Livermore branch. First two was good, in and out. This coming up one they cancel my appointment without notice. No idea way, office hung up on me while on hold, second call lift a message no response thus far. Took 3 weeks to have an early appointment due to fasting then automatically canceled. I now see my canceled slot no longer available, they given it to someone else. 5 stars for the previous excellent technicians. Remove 2 stars for cancellation for no reason that was booked 3 weeks ahead of time. read more

Two great things about the Labcorp in Livermore. First, it is by appointment only so nothing feels rushed. Second, the technician is one of the best in the area at drawing blood samples. My wife is always anxious about having to undergo yet another stick and she is always relieved when her regular technician is on duty. He is always able to get the sample on the first try despite my wife's small veins that are are challege for other, experienced phlebotomists. Fourteen years of service does matter and we are grateful for his professionalism and care. read more

The ONE star is for how convenient the location is that is ALL AND I MEAN ALL. I went in 2hrs before office closing as a walk-in. I was the only patient at the time, the lab tech was with a patient ending treatment in the room in the back. I completed the self check-in & a little chime to notify staff a patient is in front went off. The tech did not acknowledge it whatsoever :-/ not a "someone will be with you" or anything . He was finishing up at that time with the patient talking, he peered over to see me sitting there he didn't think I saw him do that but I seen him do it still no acknowledgment and kept talking . I had labs put in from my PCP over a week ago and I haven't had the time to get them. I called to have my original lab order sent to another business all together but the wait was super long so I headed over to this location hoping my lab order was still in labcorp system it wasn't. The lab tech headed to the front to his computer in a VERY slow manner singing some pop song from the radio seeming really unenthused to want to do his job. I happen to look up to see him walking to the computer he gave a VERY FAKE smile it looked as if it bothered him to even have to do that much :-/ in my mind I'm think here we go.. another employee in healthcare that does not want to be working here OR anywhere for that matter - _- . He calls my name out and I walked over to the check-in window and he says he doesn't see my order he was trying to see how to pull me up in the system. I advised him my PCP ordered the lab-work over a week or so ago and he still couldn't find me which was ok as I just remembered my lab order being sent elsewhere that morning. He said you might wanna call your Dr.s office to have them send it back over again sounding and looking UNENTHUSED with a monotone voice . I asked if the location took walk-ins and he said yea. I take walk-ins until 11am (the location closed at 12pm) why stop taking walk-ins in 24 min. If you dont close until 12pm. (Didnt offer another time to come in either) . I said no it's ok I will just go to another location . It was the whole interaction or lack-thereof , that put me off and I damn near ran out the office because of how RUDE smug & inattentive he was and I didn't want ANYONE thats acting like that sticking me with anything AT ALL or administering any type of medical procedure on me !! I have been doing routine blood work here in the past few months. The online appointment setter is actually really easy to use. You can even make a profile to see your results and pay your bill. Labcorp sends you an email and a text about your appointment. When you arrive, you can check in using the email they send you, and you get a text when the tech is ready. The other option is to check in on the machine in the lobby, I did this once and don't like scanning my id but it didn't take very long or ruin my day to manually enter my information. The tech here is ususlly solo operator. He is kinda awkward but good at his job. I would rather have a skilled person any day of the week over amazing customer service. He always answers my questions and I have never had any issues. I much prefer labcorp to my experiences at sutter lab and kaiser lab where you wait forever and they put tape over your arm after. I do believe labcorp has more experieced phlebotomists. Highly reccommend. read more

This was a tall young man who refused to draw blood and even when I said I was a cancer patient and not feeling very well, not only was he not empathetic, he was so rude and insulting. This is no way to treat another human being. This employee needs to be fired and must undergo serious training on how to be a good human being. Absolutely horrible. I don't think I've ever gone on here and given a bad review. But the guy who was working this morning deserves the honor of being my first. I work in customer service and I know how challenging it is to deal with some customers/patients. Having said that, I go to this office this morning for a regular blood test. At the door there's a sign saying "due to staffing issues we require appointments". Oh, bummer. I thought "well, let me just go inside and see if they have an opening now". I go inside, no one is waiting and no one is at the front desk. I wait a little longer, then I decide to call. A tall guy comes out. (I'm sure he's the same person mentioned in several of these reviews) I ask him if there was a possibility I could get a blood test now. He said "I could do you now" Great! But then adds with a not so friendly tone "Next time you need to make an appointment ". So I said, "I just saw the sign on the door but most Labcorps don't require appointments" (it had been a year since I'd been to one) He responded with attitude "Well, this one does". I'm not exactly sure what I said next but his response was something like "well, you're the one coming at me aggressively". Wait, what?? I said "All I said was I just saw the sign outside, why are you being so rude?" In my head I'm thinking "is he the one who's going to take my blood because there's no way I'm going to let this guy put a needle in me if he's pissed off at me". I asked him if he was taking my blood and he said yes. So I told him I'm not going to go here. He handed me back my paperwork and I did what every person in customer service hates "Can I get a number for your manager or boss?" As he went to get it I asked him if he was having a bad day. "No, I'm having a great day". Ugh. Then I asked "are you over worked because the sign said you are short staffed". No. He gave me the number and I said "I really don't like doing this but you're really bad." I walked out and called the number and left a voicemail. The woman sounded super sweet on the other end and I'm sure she's like "Ugh, not again". Here's the thing. I just needed a regular blood test. But there are many people who go there filled with worry because the doctor might have found something concerning. Someone working there needs to be kinder and more patient. Previously, we have only been to Quest Diagnostics so I was a bit surprised my son's doctor sent us to LabCorp this time. Booking an online appointment was a cinch and they will even send you a text message & email confirmation. Luckily, they are open today (despite the MLK holiday) because my son had to fast for his blood draw appointment. There was only 1 employee there, but he was quick and efficient and very kind when my younger child spilled some water in the reception area (which by the way is pristine and immaculate compared to the clutter at Quest's waiting area). It would've been nice to have something to entertain the younger kiddos though. It seems they do have quite a few walk in patients, so it's probably best to make an appointment. We were in and out in about 15 minutes. Two things to note: This location was a bit hard to find if coming from the Fenton Street direction since the sign is not visible. Park in the back lot and look for the office from there. Bring a credit card to your appointment. After estimating the insurance portion, they will be collecting payments/patient responsibility on the spot. Overall, quick and painless! I would definitely come here again. read more

I had an appointment today at lapcorp, but the employee said she did not receive the orders from my primary doctor, so she asked me to contact my doctor office and have them send those over. I contacted my doctor office and requested them to resend again since the labcorp somehow did not get it. After 1-2 minutes, the employee said she only received 1 order instead of all of them, so she asked me to request it again. Then, I asked her would you please double check my name and I showed my full name from my health care app to her, but she responded me quickly about she checked it. Therefore, I contacted my doctor office again, and while I was talking to them, the employees said she got all my orders suddenly, and explained to me my last name was not match with the appointment that I made, but I am like I already told you to double check my name with the app I showed her because that's the one my doctor office would use. Ended up, I found out actually the employees was the one who did not willing to check carefully about the client's name, so that we wasted like 45mins at labcorp for just a regular lab routine appointment. I had talked about this labcorp incident with my husband and friends and they all had the similar situation with the same employee I encountered today, so we all don't want to go to this labcorp anymore. I don't think many people know about this location. I made an appt and there were a couple of people already waiting. My wait was like 15 minutes. I believe there was only one gal working. So bless her heart for being able to check everyone in and take their samples as efficiently as she could. I know for some others that were waiting, it was a lifetime, I mean she did have to fast. But still cut the working gal a break. It's a small waiting room with a bench along one wall and a few chairs lined up with the window and a couple of other chairs adjacent to the door. They have a water dispenser- perfect for those who need a little push for their urine sample. It's small and clean. I had a great experience and will be back again for any other blood work I need done. read more

i tried to make an appointment last night for today (6/30/2023) I tried to call a couple of times but no answer. I still went in this morning even thou it said by appointment only, I know sometimes they have gaps so they will see me. When I showed up I was talking to labcorp representative. He had dark skin color if you wanted mor details. I was honest with him thinking he would appreciate it and said I didn't have an appointment. He said I needed to have an appointment. I looked around the office , no one was waiting to be seen and inside the office nobody was in there either. I said to him nobody was there to be seen. He replied you need to have an appointment. I was fasting so I got a little upset. I told him I tried to make an appointment. He told me that means they were full for today. Again I thought to myself there is nobody here. I informed him the last time I was there they still saw me. He said this is the way it has been for the last 3 months. I think I was there during this time and they still saw me. I know I went to the one in Fremont and it was by appointment only and they still saw me.I also informed him on the sign that was outside it said Labcorp ? center but it didn't have by appointment only. When I was walking in that gave me hope and I thought to myself maybe that means they are low with appointments. I strongly recommend you relocate this person 25 miles or more from where he lives. Also inform him that is not the way to treat patients. The office was completely empty I recommend in that scenario and even if there was one patient waing and one being seen. You could tell the patient to wait and they might be able to see them. On Yelp the rating was 3,5 but after I get done with my rating it will go even lowere than that. read more

Went early today for blood work (Livermore), they are supposed to open at 7:30. I stayed for 30 minutes, nothing indicating a late start. While I was waiting outside, I noticed that the roof has missing tiles and the downspouts are long gone, rotten wood, snails, etc. I went to my Doctors office to change my paperwork, they called Labcorp and no answer.
