The first time I went into the…read moreoffice, the lady in the chair to the left with white hair and glasses (I did not get a name) was so rude to me because I was nervous and did not have everything that was required at the time. So I had left and came back with what I needed for my visit, I presume she was being cordial because there were other patients in the waiting room and her colleague was next to her. Nonetheless if you are in a customer based employee, attitude and being rude is not ok.

Unfortunately Labcorp does not make this clear anywhere on their websites in NYS. When I arrived the woman was saying that the computer was down - that also happened the last time I went to labcorp in my home state. In the past, I've never heard of that happening, and I used the labcorp in my home state a lot.

Whenever I go in for bloodwork, I typically wait for 15-20 minutes, and once called back the phlebotomists are less than thrilled to be doing their jobs, and the quality of care is mediocre. I've also experienced consistent issues with workers not being at the front desk when they are not working with patients, and talking in the back rooms, I even called the front desk to get them to come to the front desk. Lastly their operational hours are abysmal, 7:30-4PM with a break from 12:15-1PM, makes it incredibly difficult for those who are unable to take time off from work, or get lab work done outside of business hours.

I recently visited this location and, unfortunately, my overall experience was disappointing due to…read morea lack of professionalism at the front desk. Upon arrival, it felt as though I was interrupting a social conversation between staff members rather than being welcomed as a patient. I checked in as directed, but the two employees at the desk continued their conversation without acknowledgment. Shortly after, two other clients arrived and expressed similar concerns about how they were received. The three of us were left waiting without any communication or guidance. At one point, a gentleman entered and was immediately assisted. I understand he may have had an appointment, but a brief explanation or simple communication to those of us waiting would have gone a long way in creating a more respectful and organized experience. That said, I do want to recognize Emily, who performed my blood draw. She was professional, efficient, and made the process smooth and comfortable. I truly appreciate her care and expertise.
