I was running late & Sar was a pleasure from the moment I walked in. She fast and efficient I'd definitely recommend the Matthews location.

I checked in online. Web page says I'm checked in. I get there 15 minutes before my appt. My name is on the screen saying "Checked in." I sit there 35 minutes, after watching walk-ins go ahead of me. I go to blonde lady behind desk. I tell her I checked in online, screen says checked in, etc. She says you still have to tell us. I pick up the sign at the counter that reads "Check in at the kiosk." I point out this sign doesn't say "Check in at kiosk then come see me". I told her I just want to know in case I have to come in at a later date. (I won't) She tells me not to get upset. I did not raise my voice, I did not curse, etc. (The lady who drew my blood was nice) I check in online for my haircuts and just come in and sit down. No hidden second step when I arrive. Poor attitude from the lady at the front desk. I am not thin skinned, I just don't appreciate being talked down to. read more

I don't see why people have given this place such bad reviews. When I went there, the staff was friendly and helpful. The receptionist assisted me in obtaining a copy of my order requisition form from my doctor's office. (I hadn't brought it in with me.) When that failed, she gave me a chance to look for it. Fortunately, it was in my car. Even though my appointment had been at 4:00 p.m., they did my blood test at around 4:25 p.m. The procedure itself was quick & not very painful. The results were available to me within less than 24 hours. What's the problem??? read more

I arrived a few minutes early prior to my appointment, and proceeded to the check-in kiosks. On both kiosks, there was a sign stating that they were shut down and we needed to check in at the front desk. From the very beginning the front desk assistant was cold, rigid and rude. When I let her know that I was there for my appointment she was quick to admonish me and tell me I had to check- in through the kiosks. When I relayed to her that they were shut down she quickly went over to them and removed the signs and told me and the others already waiting there they had to sign in with the kiosks. Okay, sure! So I checked in and took a seat. About 5 mins later she called my name and asked for my orders. I told her I didn't have a print out but that I had an email with the order. "The order needs to be printed." I started to explain that I didn't have it and that I didn't realize I needed a print out and she cut me off. Followed by a few more rude and unnecessary interruptions. I emailed her the copy of the order and she advised me she'd let me know when she received it. It was delivered within seconds. 45 minutes later she still hadn't called my name. I can understand the people who arrived at the same time as me. But then every new person who came in long after me was getting called up. I couldn't believe it! I'm pretty sure she was passing me up to prove her point and make me pay for forgetting to print the order form. I finally told her to cancel my appointment, left the building and promptly booked with another location. read more

Went here for a pre-employment drug screen. Front desk ushered me to the kiosk to check in and I handed her my paperwork. I see others getting called in one after another, I start to pace around as it's coming up on a hour wait. Turns out they misplaced my paperwork and were passing me up like checking in was all for not. I'm obviously frustrated and the lady picks up on it and asks me "if everything is going to be okay?" I vent my frustration and just ask for my paperwork so I can leave, after a few minutes they found it on their printer. Not professional at all, do yourself a favor and avoid this location. read more

Worst place to come to. Go to another LabCorp but not this one. Lady at the front desk (Nicole I assume) has the worst attitude and treats people terribly. Sorry for whatever you're going through in your personal life, but you don't have to bring that to work and take it out on people you don't know or won't see again. PLEASE DON'T COME TO THIS LOCATION !!! Please !! I wished I read the reviews before I schedule my drug employment appointment. My appointment was at 2:15 p.m. I arrived at 1:45 pm and checked in the kiosk with my DL. After waiting until 2:45 p.m. lady asked for my paperwork with employer info. Still, I had to wait. After being there until 3:20 pm with a SCHEDULE appointment, I asked the lady at the front desk (NOT FRIENDLY ) I been waiting over a hour. People came after me and I was still waiting. At 3:45 pm, I left with my paperwork and schedule at the Park Rd location. At Park Rd, I was out in 7 minutes !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Matthews location is GHETTO! I would give a negative star if I could. These Ridiculous people sent me instructions to check in from my car so I would not have to go in until I'm texted. I wait for 45 minutes before walking in to check on things since I didn't hear back. The most indifferent front desk person on earth tells me that I needed to come inside give them paperwork to check in and then go back out to my car to wait... so I would then be treated as a walk-in. What the hell was the point of sending me instructions that weren't even supposed to be followed? Then I hear regardless if you have an appointment you're still waiting an hour. Who the hell has this much time to waste during the middle of a day? Corporate needs touch shut down this trash office. I'm unlikely to ever visit another LabCorp again. Went here for a blood and urine sample. Everyone was nice and helpful

I was given the kit for collecting a specimen. I called when I got home and realized I didn't have what I needed according to instructions. Called back and explained. Was told to "just use what was give to you in the kit." I did and found out today it was not the correct amount of specimen bottles needed and it needed to be refrigerated. I was told none of this. Now I have to start all over and was given a phone number to call supervisor at lab and of course, it is busy all the time. Also the place was not clean. 2 gloves on the floor along with pieces of paper. Also water had been turned off in bathroom for drug screening and no one turned it back on so I was stranded there with soap all over my hands and even no trashcan. It should have been turned back on after the previous pt. That should be a given. Also had problems last year. What is going on with this company?? Inefficiency and ineptitude all over the place. Called corporation customer service but I know all they are going to do is send an email and then it will be forgotten. read more
