Go straight to the front desk and politely tell them you have an 8AM appointment with fasting labs and bloodwork. Show them the order paperwork and your insurance card. After GPS was kind enough to take me on a wild goose chase, I arrived about 20 minutes late. Park on the 3rd floor in the parking garage. Lots of parking available. The lab is located off the garage on the 3rd floor. Enter the building and be sure to follow the signage that wraps around the floor to the back corner. I suggest scheduling your appointment online to shorten your wait time. Once you arrive, you will use your QR code to sign in at one of the many computers. Remember that you can schedule and bring the lab orders or have the office send them over before your visit. The staff were so kind, even though they were so busy and despite my lateness. I did ask if I should reschedule since I was late. They did take me, and I was in and out in minutes. The location is clean and easy to find if the GPS plays nice. Lol read more

Even though they scan your insurance card right when you check in, no one verifies it. I even told the lady up front that my member number on my insurance changed back in July. I even crossed it off on the lab orders that doc gave me because labs were ordered months in advance at my last visit. The next day, I receive an email from Labcorp saying that I am not insured and I need to pay the full bill. Why do you even scan my card up front? Why did the lady say "ok" when I told her about the member number change. Don't get me wrong, the staff is nice and friendly, but the attention to detail is lacking. I've since gotten my insurance updated with my doctor, but I don't know what the extra steps were for at the beginning of my visit when it wasn't gonna get fixed anyway. I think I shouldn't have any issues if I visit again. I'll update the star rating if all goes well next time. PS. The restroom up front says not to flush toilet paper. I flushed mine anyway because I'm not sure where else it was supposed to go. I'm going to guess they meant not to flush paper towels, but the sign did say toilet paper when I went. read more

There was no seating the entire time that I was there, and I was there for over an hour even though I arrived 10 minutes early to my appointment, so I had to stand up the entire time. When I actually was seen by a nurse, she drew my blood in a manner which left a very dark scar on my arm. Four weeks later and the scar is still there. I've never had a scar after having my blood drawn so I believe she did something wrong or maybe was in a hurry to get to the 40+ people sitting in the lobby. This place is really bad, and I've been to some pretty bad clinics, disgusting ones where there's food crumbs all over the floor, the staff is incompetent and can't provide basic care, and all they really care about is taking your money and rushing you out of the door (See my review of NextCare). This place is asinine. They're one of the major labs in the area contracted to major employers to conduct employee drug screenings. Hence, the community relies on this place for a vital and crucial service for their livelihood. People's time is limited and we are out here trying to survive and make a living and do anything we can to get by including make time out of our day to go get these drug screens completed especially when most employers permit you a strict finite amount of time to do so. So, despite their hours already being limited to a non standard work day (7a-3p) and people working often times until 4-5, for those who think, "oh, fine, I'll get around this by waking up early and getting it done at 7am before work," nope. That will not work. Because once you get there, they have a sign posted on their door to notify you that employer drug screens do not start until 9A. So a good majority of people will need to make an extra accommodation or interrupt their work day to potentially find employment somewhere else. Make that make sense. Because by the time you're out of there and can make it to work, can't be any earlier than 10-11 by that point. Just nonsensical and inconvenient to the community that they supposedly are there to serve. But whatever, we shouldn't be surprised. Labcorp is just here to profit off of us at the end of the day and that's that. read more

Even with an appointment you're going to wait minimum 45 minutes. Not to mention this is the only LabCorp in the area I've found that I can actually schedule an appointment (pointless). The office smells and feels old and dirty. Didn't get to experience their phlebotomists because I don't have time to wait 1+ hour (hence why I scheduled an appointment). I get it, staffing is hard and many people need the services provided but there has to be a better way but they aren't doing anything to figure out how to be better. read more

My experience was great! I needed some bloodwork and didn't want to schedule out 2 weeks so I decided to go in without an appointment figuring there would be a wait. From the time I checked in, to getting the blood draw, and back to my car took 14 minutes, I timed it. So happy! Every staff member I dealt with was professional and friendly. I visited Labcorp for routine bloodwork and had an excellent experience. From check-in to completion, the staff were friendly, professional, and the wait time was minimal. Ruby, the phlebotomist, was exceptional--despite my severe fear of needles, she kept me calm and distracted with conversation, which made a significant difference. I've seen a mixed of reviews for the Labcorp at this location. But for me, it's a positive experience because the staffs were friendly and engaging. This Labcorp was organized and everything was done in a timely manner. My wait time was 1 hour, but as soon as my name was called, I've completed my drug urine test in minutes. I was being assisted by Kajdja Wicker and she was amazing. She had a creative way of saying my name without being offensive. During the whole time, we have a nice conversation and I totally forgot I was at Labcorp. I totally refer this Labcorp to anyone who wants to get their lab tests in a timely manner with wonderful staffs. The only thing I didn't like was the directions to find this Labcorp was very limited. Google Map wasn't that helpful and I had to drive and ask around to find this place. I got there at 10:40 AM, but with all of the hassles trying to find the place, I finally arrived at the Labcorp at 11:46 AM with the help from the staff at MD Andersen Breast Cancer building. She called a shuttle to take me there and told me to go to 3rd floor STE 300 of Williams building #1300. So, let me give a clear instruction on the address for anyone who go to this Labcorp for their first time. Horrible customer service, unprofessional, making it very hard for people to take drug screening test for a job. Some nurses not all Make you take off your sweater even if it's small, they don't have everyone do this, they just selected who they feel needs to take off their sweater, which I think is ridiculous for a drug screening for a job why the heck does wearing a sweater matter for a job screening? Even though the building is cold they will still have you take it off because I told the Sekeso the nurse I was freezing and she told me take it off. What if I didn't have a shirt underneath? You get treated like you're a criminal or on probation when it's only for a job. The Sekeso nurse tech insisted I complain about her what type of nurse wants you to complain about her. who does that to patients , in health care you want patients to waste everyone time telling how rude you are to your manager like we don't have other things to do .. if you don't like your job get a new one instead of making people complain about you nurse Sekeso. she probably doesn't care about her job or knows nothing will happen to her about being unprofessional or rude that's why she insisted I complain to her manager. Very unprofessional and Make people feel very uncomfortable like they are committing a crime taking a drug test for a job. If you see nurse Sekeso be prepared to feel like you're committing a crime or on probation taking a drug test & if you a woman and Hispanic she will make you take off your sweater even if it's small. She didn't have the white women or white men take off their sweaters & coats but she had me do it and she wanted to be rude to be and tell me to complain about her. Very rude woman needs a new job because she wants customers to complain about her and personally patients have a lot of other things going on & don't want sitting around letting a nurse be rude and than tell us go complain about it to the manager because they know nothing will happen. Very rude and disappointment my last visit before this one was so great the nurse was very nice but this Sekeso nurse was very rude and should work at a correctional office or probation officer since she wants to treat everyone like a criminal that needs to take a drug screening for a JOB, this time was nothing pleasant at all and I never had a nurse insist I complain about her. Leaving a review because after my experience this morning, I am genuinely shocked this place has such bad ratings. My experience: I stopped by early today for some lab work and was a little nervous visiting this facility because of the reviews that I saw online. When I walked in, the lobby was already full and it was barely 8 AM, so I sat down and got ready for a serious wait. To my surprise, the front desk administrator called me up a couple of minutes later, ran over some insurance questions with me, and then I was being seen by a phlebotomist. Serena was incredibly kind, quick and efficient. My labs took no more than five minutes, and I was in and out of the building within 20 minutes! read more

I was in the labcore at evernorth in Glendale. I had a order from my neurologist. I was told I needed the labcore account number and diagnosis code. I was able to get those and went back to get the test done. The girl told me she couldn't do it because I needed to have a test code. I have attempted this 3 times now. I drove to the doctor and asked them what I should do and I was told everything i needed was on the order. This person has argued with me everytime I go for blood work. She refused to do the order from my oncologist also. This is ridiculous, I'm a cigna patient and going to this location is convenient because I don't drive much. She constantly argues with me for no reason. I'm not stupid and I have done everything asked of me. read more

I have been to the Labcorp facility located at 1300 N. 12th Street, Phx. on 3 occasions this year (2025). I have had to wait over one hour (one time 2 hours) just to get a blood draw because of their procedure. Today, when I arrived at 12:00 there were only 5 people ahead of me. Forty five minutes later, I left. No draw. It appears from my 3 experiences that they wait until they have 5 people waiting, then they call all 5 at the same time. An efficiency expert would have a field day at this location. Fix it or close it. read more

This was the easiest and fastest lab experience. When I walked into a room full of people waiting at 9:00 am I felt dread. I needed to give a urine sample and based upon life experience I assumed it was going to take forever for such a simple task. However, after checking in with a very pleasant and helpful worker (that alone surprised me), I was literally done and out of there in minutes! It was a great experience. So, not sure what the circumstances were for the other bad reviews but my experience was nothing short of 5 star. I'll definitely use this lab again! read more

Never got past their apointment page on their website. It asks for your location, but wont let youn enter it. It pulls numbers out of the air and automatically enters whatever it wants. I went in to turn in a specimen to improve my health. They did not tell me I was supposed to write my name on the specimen bottle. Because of that now the lab is saying they do not have it. Annika was very nice, friendly and patient with me this morning at Lab Corp Phoenix, on 12th Street on 9/23/24. She has a great personality and I barely felt the needle go into my arm. We talked about that lovely beach photo and view of the city from one of the lab rooms and that took away my anxiety of getting 5 vials of blood drawn. Thank you Annika. All 5 stars ARE FOR ANNIKA. Suggestion to the LAB CORP Company: ZERO STARS- 1. FIRST_ put a sign on the door and in the room that the chairs are for the patients. Any one else does not need to be in there taking up chairs. Maybe one person there to help you, but people were bringing in multiple people, I can understand if you have to bring your children, But the majority of the people being called back were with 3 or more people waiting on them. UGH!!! Monday morning- staff called off. CALL people in from other locations- hire temporary staff!!! The appointment times could not be honored, if you did not have an appointment, you get to sit there for 2 long hours. I had an appointment, showed up early, saw the room had not one open chair, took my place along a wall, held it up for 45 minutes, finally got a chair to sit in when someone left, and got called to the counter to turn in my lab order. And THEN, had to wait on the wall again because once you get up, BAM you lose the chair you were just in. WHY???... the place was super crowded, grown ADULTS sitting in chairs for Toddlers (those colored ones with 4 tiny legs). C'mon- do better!!! People who are not being seen, can wait in the elevator lobby by the parking garage. Each floor has long wooden benches with air conditioning. Or in the super long hallway into the waiting room. 2. Please Get a digital display board that lists the last name, first initial of the patient and how long the wait time is after they sign in. This is not the 1970's. There is no reason people need to sit and wait so long for their appointment- even if there were call-offs on Monday Morning. C'mon LabCorp, you trade on the NYSE -don't tell me you don't have any money. Bring that waiting room up to the 2020's. Ridiculous amount of time waiting to be seen even if you HAVE an appointment. 3. BIGGER signs to the SUITE from the ELEVATOR. Look, when you've been fasting all morning before the blood draw, no one has time to read size 12 font taped to an arrow sign in the hallway, because the building is being renovated. Again, DO BETTER! 4. A phlebotomist is a medical professional who's trained to perform blood draws. They collect blood for testing or donation and can also perform blood transfusions. The PHLEBOTOMISTS- should not also be handing the computers and checking people in. NO wonder NO wonder NO wonder IT TAKES SO LONG TO BE SEEN HERE. If you are wearing a white coat and take people's blood- you do not need to be at the front desk checking people in. SERIOUSLY!!! Please put the right people in the right place at this location. Waiting room only for PATIENTS; all others- wait in the hall- it's long and wide. White coat wearing lab people should not be checking people in or helping them to use the automated check-in, because the patient doesn't want to read the instructions and just wants someone to do it for them. I have had to take my son for lab work here 3 times in the last 7 months. Each time the phlebotomists were nice and patient with him, he's only 1. The girls at the front can come off as rude at times, probably because when you walk in there's a bunch of signs saying to check in on the tablets but people still just go straight to them. Anyways, this last time I went I decided to make an appointment (for 7:30am). We arrived and checked in around 7:20, we were finished by 7:44. That was my first time making an appointment & needless to say I will continue to make early appointments anytime my family is in need of lab work. The wait times can be pretty lengthy when you just walk in but I feel like that's a given anywhere you go. I'd recommend this place to family and friends. read more

BEWARE. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They don't even qualify for one star. When getting blood drawn, I was told I was REQUIRED to add a credit card for the file, but I would receive an invoice at which time I could use my HRA card or any other card or set up a payment plan. Since they have charged my credit card twice. I called and spoke to a representative and Natasha, the supervisor, they both said they have my signature so too bad. In addition, the invoices aren't online, I can't change the payment method, and I couldn't do anything about it as they had my signature and didn't have the ability to help. You would think they could do something as simple as get me a copy of the invoice. This company is like a loan shark. Once they have your signature they don't care about you. Natasha said she would send a copy of the two invoices, but I got one screen shot of one with no detail as stated at the top of the invoice. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. lab corp just took over a site for Evernorth and that has been the worst decision for patients. My Mom had a lab drawn done on Friday the 17, she has been a patient there for 4+ years and never had any problems, the techs would listen and understand that a butterfly was needed to get her blood. Lab corp tech Karina decided to puncture my mom with a long needle and while I was explaining and requesting the butterfly needle, my mom jumped and was in a lot of pain, no blood out and she fished for it and of course more pain. I was very upset and told her why didn't you use the butterfly needle , she basically said that they were low on those needles. my Mom was very upset so I left, but as I went back today and she basically lied to me telling me she had no needles when I saw them and clarified to her that I am a nurse and know what a butterfly looks like and she still lied about it , there is no reason why I shouldn't report this to Lab Corp, I requested their supervisor I basically got a New York Number. read more

I would like to advise that this location of Labcorp 1300 N. 12th Street, Suite 300, is a very poorly run Labcorp. I arrived today for some testing and was unable to get any testing done because the door was locked to the exam room and no one had a key to get into the room. I am blown away at how no one in this place had a key to enter their own exam rooms. This is very poor medical service in my opinion. In addition to the door being locked, the person trying to do my blood draw ended up sticking both my arms and dug around them and was not even able to draw my blood. After the attempts at digging in my arms, I decided to tell her to stop digging in my arms and I left this facility. I can say that I will NEVER return to this location. LabCorp performed the wrong test and still billed my insurance and me. When I tried to dispute, the results department told my care team that it was my fault "I didn't check to see if they do the test before having it performed". The lab order that I physically gave to the front desk stated the correct test name and if that test wasn't something LabCorp performed then it was LABCORP'S EMPLOYEES' responsibility to tell me before the test was performed as the patient. LabCorp is a money hungry scam and I will never utilize the company again. Everyone who works there needs more training, a personality/attitude check and it's scary on how big the knowledge gap is with their employees. I am writing this review now as this is the 2nd test they have messed up and they won't right their wrong because they're desperate for the $500 they got from my insurance. read more

My primary care sends me to Labcorp every month and each time they do not bill my insurance correctly. Their excuse each time being that their system does not allow them to bill a secondary insurance. How could this be possible? Well, their are notes on the account and their billing department neglects to look at it each and every time. This is not providing good customer care when I have to spend hours on the phone trying to get my bill corrected. I will have my primary care send me elsewhere. read more

Overall terrible and very frustrating experience. I made the unfortunate assumption that making an appointment online would get me in and out in a timely manner. This place seems to be grossly understaffed. The process of getting checked in was disorganized at best. I didn't leave from my 9am appointment until 9:50 (this type of appointment usually takes 15-20 minutes). The phlebotomist was SHAKY and heavy handed, which made it especially painful and uncomfortable. Even worse, they were out of a necessary supply to complete my blood draw, so I have to make ANOTHER appointment and come back to finish what should've been the easiest, most routine procedure. Not gonna happen. I'll take my business elsewhere. read more
