This place is a joke I'm some there to do a UA and they have crazy things in the bathrooms like mirrors and Christmas lights what the hell my gynecologist doesn't even look That close I felt invaded and discussed at the practices they use though I understand why they use it still does not make it right and violets my constitutional rights so I didn't have to go there I sure the hell wouldn't recommend it to anyone read more

Unfortunately the lazy courts give this place a near free ride on checks and balances. If you are ordered here make sure you test the same day at Lab Express for a back up. They use the same lab as TASC for actual sample testing. Someone asked if different results were had from the two. Yes, including another lab, MBI. However any lawyer will tell you TASC can do no wrong in the courts eyes. Their "non profit" status I'm guessing. But as I said, Lab Express and TASC use the same lab for actual sample testing so do them both on the same day if you have to test. read more

My son failed out of task for arriving at testing center too late 830 , they close at 9. He also tested clean for 3 days following his "missed drug test" on each occasion so he wasn't using. Lawyer needed proof that he had been paying his fine and had went to the three hour class like he was supposed to which he had . Because he was kicked out of diversion program for "missed test" They were able to pull up records for his payments and the date he took required class but refused to give me proof for judge so he could be reinstated into task. I understand he made a bad choice which is not their problem.But to purposely refuse to give him paperwork which by the way i did pay for her to print pages of information none of which stated his payment status or that he had in fact took the class. Now the 10 grand plus i spent on lawyer and time and energy fror driving across town several times is for nothing. He will have the drug charge on his record for weed which is going to ruin many opportunities in his life. All she had to do was print info stating he went to class which she herself told me before we drove an hour and half was on March 11. I feel she purposely didn't want to help kept saying unless finished program u dont get any certificate . Even after paying and being told to come back next day for printout 0f payments and classes taken. Her name was Diane and Jaunita also was of absolute no help. I understand he made a mistake but they are paid to do a job and i paid extra for what i needed i pleaded with her that it would ruin his chances in life. She didnt care whats ever. I write this review for the people who are in my position, and if you dont understand why SOME people are made to go here for petty offenses dont read this and judge because you dont understand what bullshit it is. The people who work here are cool and respectful and I understand its their "job" to run this place, but in reality its just another stunt by the government to rob people of their money and time. Most everyone assigned to this program cant even afford it which puts them in a even worse situation. The goverment pulls this crap cuz they know they can and piss people off more which in turn makes most situations worse. While I am grateful to have been given the opportunity to take part in this program, I am also very frustrated and disappointed. My experience with TASC was anything but helpful or life changing; based on the way they treat their clients it is very clear that the only thing they are interested in is collecting money. The general staff are completely incompetent and unhelpful. Don't waist time trying to ask them questions, they don't know anything. The case managers are no better. I am not sure if it was just my manager specifically or if they all operate like this, but Juanita Davis, one of the members of the marijuana diversion program, seems to pick and choose her hours of operation as well as who she decides to call back. I have visited the TASC center at many different hours of the day and have never seen her there. I have also tried calling her on multiple occasions, sometimes a week in advance, and never received a call back. This is very irritating considering I have never failed a test and apparently the only people that receive any kind of attention are the ones that do not pass. In my mind, it is no surprise that they have so many repeat offenders - this program is nothing more than a formality and complete joke. They do not care about your recovery, your case, or you as a person. You are just a "drug addict" to make money off of, and it actually benefits them if you go out and mess up again. read more

What a horrible horrible place. I had DUI and was looking for an assessment to get my license back and then later to take the required classes. I had the option of going to several counseling centers but looked at going to TASC because it is near my work. The amount of hours that they wanted me to have was reasonable but they wanted me to participate in their color systems, the same system drug offenders have to use for their probation. I initially signed on to it but after realizing that I would have to call every single weekday and possibly come in to pee (regardless if I was across town or not) at a fee of $20 each time. Wow. What a scam. So I called to tell them that I decided to use another facility that doesn't have such ridiculous rules and the counselor/head of TASC was screaming at me over the phone telling me that I was a dishonest abuser who just didn't want to take their UA tests. I told her, you are right. I don't want to call every day and pay you ungodly money because I DON"T HAVE TO. I told her that furthermore, judging by her attitude and customer service skills I can see that the only customers that she will ever have are the ones that the courts FORCE to go to them I really feel bad for those that have to go to TASC, The staff is rude and the whole thing is a scam. They charge ungodly money for the tests and the system requires so many random tests that, in my opinion, it is set up for people to not be able to make it or fail. If you have a choice, DO NOT go to TASC, they just want your money and they think you are nothing but a piece of shit. Even their head counselors are used to screaming at and demeaning their customers. I went to a different facility where they are professional and where they test every few months at their expense. read more

I am giving this one star not because of the poor choices I made to get here but because the incompetence of the staff is so disappointing. They think because they are a private organization working directly with the state that they don't have to care. They will get business no matter what but hopefully someone in charge can read something like this and fix their poor system. So the first time I came to tasc to do an evaluation for the court, they completely botched it. The lazy "dr" or evaluator (whatever credentials they have to fill out forms that could possibly ruin lives) well she just filled in the blanks on someone else's form instead of starting a new one. So half the info on there was someone else's. I'm a 30 yr old white female w no kids and have been sober for quite some time. The eval said I was a pregnant black male for starters. Not to mention a bunch of resent drug abuse that was not true. This got sent to a judge which assumed I was the incompetent one and had to pay for a second eval somewhere else outta state! Ok great people make mistakes. All down hill from there. Rude staff and years after I took the classes needed for probation they call and say they never set my completed classes to my po. Which could put me prison. So I had to come down and fill out release forms for something that should have been handled. Very disappointing our lives are left in the hands of people who only care about the $ and not rehabilitation. If they cared about the people they would t have said to me "if I don't send you to any classes, they will think we are not doing our job" even though I've been sober for 10+ years. I have tested positive for things I have never heard of, let alone seen or used. If I could give this zero stars I would do it without any hesitation. Worst diversion program out there and the fact this place is still running, shocks me everyday. Making money of people who actually have serious issues like mental health and addiction is pathetic. I'm not talking about small petty marijuana charges or other small petty charges, I feel like those can be handled in a better way as well like people with mental health and addiction. We should actually help those people , not put them in program who don't care about them what so ever. This company cares about one thing and it's obvious, money. The staff is sometimes nice and there's some rude staff members as well and trying to reach your case manager is sometimes almost in possible. I can go for hours about how this place overall is a huge mess and needs to be discontinued but it's gonna drive me insane talking about this any longer. Having no previous criminal history what so ever, finally one day my curiosity got the better of me and I made a bad choice and got caught with a small but usable amount of narcotics.. Seeing I was not felon material, the superior courts of Phoenix gave me a fairy attractive plea bargain and of course I took it.. They offered me tasc with an entrance fee of $150, and a total tasc fee of $1285 with standard UA tests at $14 a pop. no booking fee ($50) and no "POND" (whatever that means) at the price of $1,500.... Though upon my first day orientation tasc, this privately owned company claiming to be non-profit cared very little for this piece of paper claiming of my court ordered promises and fees.. One man had also a similar court given paper citing lower promises and payments, but when he spoke of it, his comments were very quickly and strictly refused, belittled, explained away or ignored. So after about an hour of waiting in an office near falling asleep, the orientation itself in attendance of 20 was -quickly- rushed as if we were waisting time, as they demanded initials and signatures upon each page.. Questions were annoyingly seen received as a delays as we flipped frantically through this packet skipping large portions of print, and jotting down our signatures or initials on every line instructed in fear of being seen as the act of noncooperation and finding rejection, jail, or felony. In all was charged a total program fee of $2,835 (236.25 monthly) UA fees of $19 twice a week, and of course the final POND fee of $1,500. Not to mention numerous class hours we all must complete... .. For the fallowing year I will be working full time, with basically no personal earnings for myself.. .. ... I am there because my husband has a serious habit with marijuana but in court said that I had planted all the evidence......nice! so now we are both being tested! For girls it's extra humiliating, pull down your skirt and pull up your top. I try to make the best of it - or i should say try not to make a big deal of it. They are working too and how would you like to have that job in a small cubby hole monitoring other people. The only person I would judge is my husband for lying! Own up to your problems and responsibilities and life will be good for everyone! I have no worries about the results and have shown my children how to rise above a challenging situation and make the best of it. I've been able to share with my children the lesson of staying away from anyone who is using drugs or alcohol - it's not enough to not do drugs yourself - look how easily me (soccer mom of 3) was forced to undergo testing too. I've been ordered to TASC, completed 6 ua without testing positive and then was terminated on nothing more than an assumption from the lab that I was cheating. Really, the person monitoring me was standing practically over me while I gave the sample. They of course had no proof or evidence, just a guess. My case manager is a real smart ass, telling me that it is within her power to terminate me (telling me this via vm), and saying that she doesn't really understand what the lab was trying to say or whatever, but blah, blah, blah from this day forward I am terminated. Now I have a lawyer trying to figure out what can be done. Absolutely no check and balance with this company. They are left with no 'higher up' to answer to and the employees know it. It's just another form of paper pushers, but I get the feeling these bozos go home every night thinking they are some kind of hero's. Nothing has made me want to do drugs more than this predicament. Especially being at the mercy of the company outside of the court. Given the circumstance what advice would be useful? All I can offer is bow down, and bite your tongue. The program is yet another completely useless form of "winning the war on drugs". When obviously it's not, I don't know if the powers that be have it in their heads that this is some kind of lively party that I'm having, because it certainly is not. Drug abuse is a public health issue, not a moral issue. I knew what damage I was doing to my body when I used, I know what stress I'm going through now having to be clean without wanting to be clean.
