I had an excellent experience at the Labcorp in Plano and felt compelled to share, especially after reading some of the previous reviews. From the moment I walked in, the staff were extremely friendly, polite, and welcoming. I came in as a walk-in fully expecting to wait at least 30-60 minutes, but to my surprise I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. The entire process was smooth, efficient, and handled with genuine kindness. Every staff member I interacted with was courteous, professional, and clearly committed to providing great service. Whatever issues may have been reflected in older reviews simply didn't match my experience at all. They're fast and efficient-- I arrived 10 minutes early for my online appointment, checked in quickly at the kiosk, and was in and out within minutes. There's plenty of parking, and the wait time is minimal, especially compared to other locations where the wait can be unpredictable. Front desk has always been pleasant, this time she was humming Christmas songs & was patient in helping me use the Request-A-Test website. Phlebotomist was competent & personable too. This is the worst LabCorp I've been to BY FAR! Their staff is lazy and incompetent. I went in on a Friday morning and there was a black lady at the front desk yelling at an elderly hispanic couple because they couldn't speak English. This black lady then started complaining about how she doesn't have time to take walk-ins (fortunately I had an appointment). Upon going to the back and waiting to get my blood draw. I hear her boss tell her that they actually need to take the walk-ins. I then hear this black lady tell her coworker, "if they don't check into the self-check kiosk... turn them away... she (their boss) will never know if they don't check-in." At this point I'm shocked that this black lady was so lazy and had such a disgusting attitude. To make matter worse, she had horrible manners during my blood draw and acted annoyed that I didn't already know exactly what she wanted me to do (holding a fist, releasing the fist, holding the gauze, etc). Oh and to finalize her incompetence. I brought all my paperwork to make sure I got both of my tests completed. I showed it to her and she brushed me off saying "yeah yeah it's already in the system you can go." Guess what... they failed to do one of my tests and now I have to go back for a redraw. read more

I would give this lab 0 stars if I could. Staff was rude, I felt ignored. There were many people in the waiting room, who also got ignored for asking a simple question. We could all hear the staff chat in the back room when there was a full waiting room. My wait time was more than an hour for a urine drug screen. It's honestly ridiculous. read more

Showed up a couple of minutes early, checked in, and I was sent to a room where a phlebotomist met me and got my blood drawn. All in record time. The blood work was to check for chromium and titanium, I have a 22 year old prosthetic hip, and it was to check for wear. I am go to go another 10 or more. Thank you! read more

To be clear, this is for the 3804 W. 15th st., Suite210 Plano TX location which seems to be so badly rated it has been permanently stricken from Yelp and can't be re-added. Go anywhere else for lab draw and sample collection. Phlebotomy staff sits behind an obscured office window while on personal cell calls with lab draw patients waiting in the lobby. I was only picking up a sample kit and started getting verbal instructions for a complicated culture kit with half a dozen vials from the office admin tech. After I waited patiently for minutes for this person in black scrubs to stop talking on his cell phone. I asked the lab tech for written instructions TWICE and got back talked by the guy in the back of the admin area who was apparently a phlebotomist wearing black scrubs who had sat talking on his cell phone behind the admin tech the whole time I was waiting for assistance. He interrupted the tech the whole time talking on his phone then again to intercede a transaction he was not party to and wasn't even wearing a name badge. Besides being discoureous several ways he didn't look or act like he belonged there, and wasn't helpful in any way. A patient should not have to defend asking and receiving written instructions for a complicated multiphase specimine kit with 6 vials. This goes without saying. All the while this was going on people were sitting waiting for blood draws in the waiting area. Sadly, this was not an isolated experience for me and apparently the 15th street location at 3804 15th St. Suite-210 is so bad that it has been blocked in Yelp and can't be listed again for reviews. Avoid the 15th st. location due to unprofessional staff. Quest is good across the street. That is where I left for after this impudent exchange. I feel way too awful for far too long to have this test repeated at my expense because it got botched from an inconsiderate and rude lab tech. Labcorp has been good in the Richardson Medical Center which has since closed. Quest across the street is busy but on point. Make sure to make an appointment if at all possible where ever you go, because it helps everyone. For what my medical labwork cost and my health, it's not worth putting up with this kind of BS nonsense. It doesn't fly in a business setting and certainly not in a medical one. read more

My review is ONLY about the phlebotomist Natalie--5 STARS for her amazing skills!!! Like a lot of people, I'm afraid of needles, and I dread getting my blood drawn. Her touch is so light that I barely felt the prick. This was definitely the least painful blood drawing/testing that I've had within the past few years. Also, Natalie was very friendly and professional--I recommend her 100%. Thank you for being awesome at your job!!! P.S. I didn't get the name of the guy working the front desk (he's tall with dark curly hair)--people need to STOP harassing him every 5 minutes--he's going to call you when a slot is available. The only thing was I didn't know I was supposed to fast before and the girl didn't tell me until after she took my money that I should have fasted. My doctor ordered bloodwork to be done, so I googled closet Labcorp and there was one on Parker and the Tollway. I saw some one and two star reviews so I was a little nervous. I went right when they opened today at 8am and they were nothing but WONDERFUL. The front greeter was polite, it was clean and quick, and the man who took my blood was the nicest guy ever (his name started with an E, I can't believe I forgot!) So I felt the need to write this review because not enough people credit places for the good experiences, just the bad. I highly recommend going here if needed! read more

I will never return to Labcorp. Poor customer service, rude, inefficient, disorganized, long long wait. If you want to wait for two hours while contracting Covid this is the place for you. If you are concerned about your health or immunocompromised, run! There was an overcrowded waiting room. The lady at the front desk and people in the waiting room were not wearing masks in spite of posted requirement. Turns out the disgruntled front desk employee was also the phlebotomist. Employees hacking for 10 minutes. It took two hours to get a 1 minute blood draw. I was told my doctors office didn't send my orders more than an hour after checking in, then waited another 45 minutes after I forwarded the paperwork myself. read more

Went to this location for a pre-employment drug screening. I've done a few of these in my career and most places follow a fairly strick process. When I arrived at this LabCorp location I was the only person there and they had me go to a room right away. I was left unattended for at least 5-10 minutes while the staff was talking about vacations. During that time I noticed urine samples sitting out on the counter in one of the lab areas. After providing a sample, the tech had me sign and initial the slip that is attached to the container that the sample is transferred to. Then he told me I was done and had me leave the room. NORMALLY, you witness this process and inital the container AFTER the sticker has been attached to the final sample. This is a big no-no because if a sample comes back with a negative result a patient can claim the sample wasn't handled properly. I'm not sure if this LabCorp location is the only one that works this way or not. If this is standard operating procedure, I would recommend someone like Quest Diagnostics as their testing procedure follows a much stricter process. read more

Seriously snide and rude employees in most cases. The male tech behind the reception desk did a great job drawing blood without hurting me, but he was initially a smart mouth to me when I arrived. Asked me to confirm info on clipboard and then I sat down only to be curtly told he didn't want me to sit down but 'to come back there'. I thought he meant back behind first door, to which his response was to snicker at me and tell me I 'was flying all over'. Just get me back there expeditiously, hold the snarky attitude and do your job. You're to draw blood and attain specimens accurately with some sense of good customer service. Your services are being paid for...you are not doing me some favor, and you're not god's gift to phlebotomy for crying out loud. read more

I went to this location off Parker Rd in Plano tx to do drug test. Well it was so cold in there and guy rushed me saying it was four minutes. No way. I was there 4 hours still could not pee. It would have been my first job in 1 year and 7 months. Since I couldn't pee I couldn't leave and come back like all over drug testing sites when you cannot pee. So they put in I refused to pee. Went to LabCorp as a walk-in clientele. Are usually get my labs done every quarter. They now have an automated kiosk for check in, as there no front office coordinator. I waited for over 50 minutes. I began to notice clients who had arrived after me, were being seen for their lab work. I waited for someone from LabCorp to appear, and I asked what was happening. She indicated their service preference was by appointments and I could get online to set my own appointment. I indicated I was of an older generation, I would prefer to continue to walk in, as I had in the past. I do not do online. My generation does not do online. She said I could wait for first available opportunity in the next 45 minutes to an hour. This means I would have waited two hours for a quick five-minute blood draw. I told her it was a competitive market, and there other opportunities available in the area. I chose to leave, drive 5 minutes to QUEST. They were able to get me right in, although there was others in the waiting room. I was out in less than 10 minutes total. LabCorp should reconsider their market approach to senior patients. I spoke to my family physician, who has heard this before. He's going to drop LabCorp as a considered referral. read more
